Wow, you got in the weekly news. That's amazing! Not only will it generate popularity for this awesome map (that I haven't played because Insomnia), but it'll bring tons of new people to the CTM community! I'm super excited to see what this'll mean. And as always, good luck on Septum Immoriel!
I've seen a fair bit more downloads than usual, which is really great And thanks! I need to stop distracting myself with non-core areas. I inadvertently started Castle of Lost Souls last night XD

No, wait! Take your time.
Oh, and what playstyle is this map "recommended" for? I mean, is it geared towards tankers or something? Because honestly, my play style is the "would-be-willing-to-punch-through-Dungeon-1" type and I don't really think it's fair to set too many traps along these lines. I mean, not saying you shouldn't, but don't make it harder than the actual area.

I mean non-core for beta, haha. I'd like to push the next test round out, but keep distracting myself!
It's very much geared towards a mix of cautious players, and reckless runners. Both can succeed, it just depends on how skilled you at are either role. One of my core goals is to create a very difficult map that aims to test all your knowledge of Minecraft, not always just the combat side of things.

What's your definition of "cautious"?
And that goal sounds interesting. Do you think you can give examples? (I'm not playing the current beta since it's going to be updated soon anyway)

Areas will allow you to succeed by either very careful play, clearing spawners, avoiding traps, or by just brute-forcing them, depending on your skillset.
Mostly aimed at I4, but the goal is to have the player make use of sneak mechanics, clever movement, and pushing stuff around rather than just straight fighting and going ham on mobs.
Oh, I'll have to finish Vigilis Oculos at some point. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time right now because of my work. Yeah, customized items can be something.

Don't worry too much about it! Always love the progress updates though!
Trying to find some help with the walls of I3 mostly. MCEdit is being very uncooperative, and am hoping someone with a better computer could save my butt.
Other than that:
Dungeon 1 is totally reworked
Visions of Argus is totally 100% done
Intersection 04 is added and mostly complete
Green Wool is placed, and Darkhelm the Restless is mostly done
I do have another dungeon to build for it, but I've made some progress on it slightly.
Working on mob design for Tyranny of Agamemnon
Need to do a tiny bit of update work for The Stationary Guardian, just for difficulty
Working on mob design for Darkhelm the Restless as well.
My goals before the next beta are just to get I3 "done" visually, and Tyranny of Agamemnon playable, rather than largely empty, and I'm okay with Darkhelm not being done in the next beta.
I feel so bad, because I haven't played Insomnia in a week, and I've sworn myself to completing it before playing this. Ugh, I really need to find time to play it, because I want to be able to play Vigilis Oculos, and then move on to Septum maybe a week after it's released, so any bugs can be ironed out.
Finally picking up some speed on my Vigilis Oculos LP! Manage to make it through the first wool area after many witch and cave-spider induced headaches

Up to you! Would love if you did - whenever you can!

Okay, you know what? I need to finish up Vigilis Oculos soon. So with that said, I'll just quickly summarize my last take on the map. On another post...
