I beat Sandswarm and Quagmire Jungle today. I'm stuck at Dancing Shadows! The skeleton aim in 13w03a is making this map seem impossible. Going to downgrade to 1.4.7 and give it another couple hundred tries.
Xekaj's area looks like he took a very conical worldedit-made mountain and completely flipped it. It looks very neat, I may have to try that method some day.

The garden's looking great. Are you going to connect the platforms at all, or leave them floating? Maybe set up some 2 second, jump boost 10 potion spawners, or something along those lines. Player cannons, maybe?
I don't think I'm going to be able to beat all the minimaps, but I'm completing as many as I can. Beat two more today, Centric Elements and Overdose.
The maps that I have yet to beat:
- Drowning Terror
- Tectonicide (I've died more than 70 times on this one, about 50 of those being due to creepers landing on top of me and exploding immediately. But it's so addicting that I can't bring myself to ragequit.)
- Longfall Basin
- CUBE
- Extinction
- Redlight Reactor
- And, of course, #23-25.
Just so you know, I think it's safe for me to say that you're my favorite CTM mapmaker.
Number 3 - Dancing Shadows is pretty easy... I'd recommend that one for noobs beginners.
I am having so much trouble with Dancing Shadows. I have beaten the first two easily, but the combination of quick-thinking parkour whist being shot at is overwhelming. Do you have any tips for me?
I was lying about #3 being easy... One of the hardest for me so far!
However, one tip would be: Get lucky.

And use those fences to your advantage!
Dang. I'm not going to watch the video because I'm not sure what it is. LP of the map? I'd rather not watch someone beat it. I'll just keep trying in 1.4.7.
Actually, I could use help with a question I have for dancing shadows: "Is it better to speed run parkour the map as fast as you can to evade the barrage of arrows or is a slow, tactical approach better?"

If you take the wool and diamond block from the nether then THROW it through the end portal then go through the portal afterwards.
Yes I realize this is kind of cheating but it TECHNICALLY doesn't break any rules :3 The rules say you can't TAKE anything through the portal. Your not TAKING anything through the portal. The items are traveling seperately ffrom you.
