Updated to the final version of Stunzle. I am satisfied with everything now. I am still waiting for some complete let's plays and for 2 more players to be entered into the hall of fame.
v1.6 Final (I will discreetly add in names to Hall of Fame)
- Made blocks acted on by pistons more visibly apparent
- Multiplayer improvements in level 10; Player 1 can advance w/o blocking the path of player 2
- Blocked off an unintended path in level 11
- Changed two iron blocks into two stone blocks in level 11 (reason becomes apparent once you see it)
- Added signs signalling starting point to get to red wool in level 11
- Altered the beginning of level 11 so that players don't accidentally skip a vital clue
- Replaced a lever to a button in level 12
- The cost for skipping level 13 went from 1 gold block to 2 gold blocks.
- Added the option for 1 gold block to view level 13 in its entirety. Gave players a bird's eye view of the level.
Hey, This looks really promising. I want to do it with my group, I'll have to ask. Is it too late to have a video on the thread? EDIT: Is this Co-op or Tri-op compatible?
It's never too late for videos. You can play with as much as you like, but don't do any actions that any single player normally can't do. Teleporting is okay, but don't throw blocks at eachother, don't step on a pressure plate and have someone else perform actions, etc.

All righty then, we'll get to it when we can. We'll link to the thread as well.

You're playing an old version of my map. I also see half of the levels was already solved. That's really strange. I hope this doesn't confuse you. If you want to continue, try the latest version of Stunzle.
Well I didn't know it was outdated but with the levels being solved the first 2 videos audio was broken so i Remade them and I guess I forget to reset all the levels (I forgot how to do them). I am extremely sorry for this inconvenience. the videos 3-8 will be fine though.
Wow. I am breath taken. This map is really something.
The level of effort and thought that went into this map is astonishing. It really makes you think, and leaves you with a really satisfying feeling afterwards. I would recommend this map even over Captain Sparkles' Deep Space Turtle Chase, and the classic Escapecraft series. Combined.
I love all the new puzzle concepts, too. I'm glad this map didn't have a damn maze, like all the others. You are very talented.
Another map like this would be a fantastic idea, too. Maybe even an adventure map.
Throughout the whole map, I really felt compelled to simply drop a gold block and move on, but I knew the feeling of satisfaction at the end of the map, knowing I hadn't cheated was worth it.
And boy, was it.
I finished this map after 3 sittings, each lasting about 4 hours, and I had all the gold blocks and all the levers.
And I feel very happy with myself.
No thank you. Thank you for giving the map a try and thank you for the good words. Glad to hear you liked it and beat the game. You should record it or show me yourself completing it so I can put your name in the Hall of Fame.
I've only played up to the split water chamber level, and this is already the best puzzle map, if not one of the best maps that I've ever played.
The puzzles are ingenious and incredibly original, and they do a great job of making you feel fantastic once you finally the correct answer.
I'm playing with my friend, and sadly we had to use the gold blocks to bypass the button-timing puzzle at the beginning because of server lag and whatnot making it very tedious, but it's not your fault - this is clearly meant to be a single player puzzle map. It's fantastic though that you actually configured the spawn to work for multiplayer; I rarely ever see people do this, and it delights me that you did.
I ask though, seeing as we've only gotten to the split water chamber level (oh lord that took us a while, and we were finally able to solve it, but now we're figuring how to get out without using a gold block, heh), how far do we have left to go? I only ask because we're recording our playthrough (channel in my signature) and we've stopped for the day, and want to know how much more we have.
Oh, and don't worry. Except for some parts where we're just fooling, we ALWAYS solve the puzzles as if we were doing them alone, we made sure of that.
Again, I save my in-depth review for when we're done, but seriously, this map is magnificent. I hope it does fantastically.
EDIT: Also, I don't know if you do it purposely, but I love how you teach the player puzzle-solving techniques early on that actually help in later puzzles, such as
placing a block of wool over a particular location so that after you use it as a platform, you can destroy that block and have it fall into said particular location.
Sweet. Glad you like it so far. After the split water chamber level (level 10), you have 3 more to do. Level 11 (the building with the 2 spheres) you have to be very observant to solve it. Level 12 shouldn't be too hard, I don't think, if you remain focused. Level 12 has one of those puzzle-solving techniques you mentioned (I did plan these puzzle-solving techniques actually). Level 13 will be very difficult. This is the level that I would advise you save 2 gold blocks to bypass it.
As for the fooling around, I wouldn't mind at all. I just want to see people play through my map ^^

Awesome! I'm looking through your notes and see something about puzzle 13 and a 'grand overview', which makes me quite curious.
The first part of my LP should be up by tonight, and I'll post it here by tomorrow.
Also, do you have any walkthrough-type videos planned? I have a good feeling that I've already missed some gold blocks and/or levers, and even though I'm sure to play the map again solo once I complete it the first time (so I can do that tricky piston-timing puzzle), I'd love to have confirmation and such.
And, and also super also, from one map maker to another, if you haven't already, I recommend that you post your map on PlanetMinecraft and the Yogscast website as well. More attention is never a good thing, especially with a map as fantastic as yours.
I might make my own walkthrough, but I don't know. I discreetly updated the map. Before in level 13, you'd have to have 1 gold block to get a bird's eye view of the map plus an additional 2 gold blocks to bypass. Now, I combined them. 1 gold block to view bird's eye view, plus an additional 1 gold block to bypass.
No, thank you. Thank you for giving the map a try and thank you for the good words. Glad to hear you liked it and beat the game. You should record it or show me yourself completing it so I can put your name in the Hall of Fame.
