Once the largest parkour map ever published, Eribney is a parkour experience which had been receiving constant updates and expansions since its first version released in November 6, 2011. It presently contains 50 challenges and 278 stages, along with 5 special mini-challenges. It has been on an undefinite hiatus since the latest version was released on February 17, 2013. I personally do not take pride in this map anymore, because I now realize how badly structured it is, from a technical parkour perspective and from an aesthetic perspective. However, I still think fondly of all the time I spent working on this. It truly was fun, and I thank everyone for boosting this map above 500,000 total downloads, including notable Youtube people such as CavemanFilms and PietSmiet. There are various reasons why I stopped updating this map, but the major one is that there was a significant fire at my home and I lost a lot of files. By the time I could get back to things, the downloads had expired and there was no way for me to acquire the map again to work on it. Thankfully, I was able to deal with MediaFire to unbury the latest version, which you can download from the link just below if you are interested. An eventual update is still in my plans despite everything.
I have played your first four challenges, and I found the map quite, what can I say, 'messy'. And I spotted some jumps that are considered 'Hard', not 'Medium', like the one that says 'ladder on this side'. I think that is considered a hard jump. Also, jumps with a block directly on top of you is also considered a 'Hard' jump.
You put quite a lot of effort in this map. Good job.
EDIT: Maybe you should put a world map in your forum thread.
EDIT: You can actually get across the roof of Challenge 12 and 13. So I just have to complete Challenge 12, and I can get the reward from Challenge 13 without having to complete Challenge 13.
Definitely a different arrangement style then Tetrix's map.
Suggestions: a traditional castle as well as a large-ish ship.
Overall a good map, there is room for improvement, but better then many of the previous parkour maps I've seen. Is there some sort of map? It's a bit difficult to navigate even with the directional sign posts.

I know my map is messy. I was even planning to start a new map with more organization, the same organization that is in yours. For the next version, I corrected many jumps and modified some challenges. I started to make things more clear in my map.
The first challenges are quite bad I think. I plan (not sure) to totally modify some of the outdoor challenges, so there is no more floating blocks in the middle of the air.
For the world map, I'm not sure to. I used a Minecraft map and walked over the map, but because the challenges are disproportional to each other, or because they are too small, the map just looks like brown and grey blocks putted everywhere on the ground.
Next up, I said in the rules that we can't jump to one challenge to another. But I can fix that (I know there is a lot of cheaters). In the next version, we will not be able to jump for Challenge 12 to challenge 13.
I'll be following your tips and advices.
Thank you for posting on my thread!

A castle is a great idea! I am starting to run out of ideas for my challenges (already), but this helps me. Not sure if I'm gonna make a ship, because of the lack of water in the map. I could add some. I don't really know how I am gonna put parkour in a ship. I'm gonna think about that. Yeah.
I'm used of my map, so I can easily travel around, but I'm gonna think of a way to make it more clear for the players to find the challenges. Thanks for posting!

Or is there a such program to make Your maps look better?

For the world map, what I mean is that you can cartograph your map, and then paste the picture online. I am not referring to the item 'Map' in Minecraft game. Here's an example:
You can cartograph your map using this program: Cartograph G
EDIT: Because of the new Anvil map, Cartograph G will cause problems.

Oh thanks! I'll be definitly using this. Gonna make a map.
EDIT: Having some problems with the program. Some file errors. I'll re-download and see what comes out.

No unfortunately. You may want to downgrade to 1.0.0 or download the latest snapshots (12w03a+)
