This is probably the best adventure map I have ever played. I liked the "cheats", for lack of a better word, because I'm pretty awful at jumping puzzles and usually fly over them anyway after trying for a few minutes. Thanks a lot to sench73 for making the map, and to the Yogscast as well for finding it for me.
Really good map! My wife and I played it all the way through tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it! Certainly the best adventure map we've found thus far.
Here's a (very) few criticisms:
1. After completing the Earth challenge the gravel door didn't open. We had to break through the glass, go back through it and trigger the pressure plate again (or perhaps the lever?) for it to drop.
2. At the end of the map and in the ending.txt you use the word 'bought' instead of 'brought'
3. The poll in this thread requires we vote why we didn't like it (regardless of whether or not we did). I didn't want to put any negative vote in those boxes but it wouldn't let me submit without checking one! So remove one vote for the textures!
Very impressed with the map and awesome job! I don't care if you make a sequel or something new, but do please make more maps!
Edit: Oh and we ended up with at least 157 points. My wife had 110 points on her, and I had 47 before entering the pumpkin temple, but then was creepered into a deep pit twice in row (!!!) and mine were lost forever! I don't remember if I found any more inside the temple, so 157 is as much as we know we had.
Nice to see you enjoyed the map. Thanks.
1. Should work, you might of not switched on one of the levers at they trigger the gravel wall.
2. Yeah, spelling was not a strong point of mine.
3. Thanks, I removed that poll now, very clear people dislike external note files.
Those points still count, added you in at number 5 on the scoreboard.
WOW i ed your map :biggrin.gif:
I especially like the fact that it has a simple story, but you still keep going... kinda like in half live
you shoul'd deffinetly make another one, but i'd prefer a whole new story... sequels tend to be worse :mellow.gif:
btw my score was 133 i got 5 tears and 83 nuggets *megusta*
Thanks for playing, I am trying to get feedback on another map. I agree with you on sequels, but if I do one, may make it from another angle for the story.
133 does not make the top 10, but good job.

Thanks for the complement. I sucked at jumping puzzles before I made this map. Kept this in mind while creating it. Also wanted to make a map for the casual players out there. (like me)
Great map! Started watching the Yogscast play it but then I decided to finish it myself cause it was so awesome! The pistons must have taken ages and tears to create, really good job!
Too bad minecraft is so quiet... I've been thinking that one could add mp3-files in the map-rar and tell people to play them with notes or such for more epicness! Perhaps something for your next creation? :smile.gif:
I got 140 in score. What was max, 200?
See you next map!
Thank you for your complement :smile.gif:
Yes the redstone took a lot of my brain power... Mostly the tears came when I dug into water and the circuits went fiss... DOH!
Yes music files are a good idea, I see some other map makers use you-tube links, worth considering. Check out Pharaoh's Curse 2. https://yogscast.com/showthread.php?42093-Adv-Map-Pharaoh-s-Curse-2-Wrath-of-Horobus-Created-for-Yognauts
They used music from you-tube really well :smile.gif:
Sorry, 140 does not quite make it now. Oh and I am not telling what the max score is :biggrin.gif:
Very, very well done, sir! I had a great time playing this map, and the redstone magix blew my mind! Second favorite map, only to Deep Space Turtle Chase. The mix of combat and parkour was very well done, proud to say I didn't hafta use any of the esay way out levers :tongue.gif: Only scored 84 points in the end though xD Also, quick question: Are the scores posted updated to the new version? Cus I saw that at one time ghast tears were worth 25 instead of only 10 points.
Outstanding adventure!! Thanks ever so much. Got the score of 125. And didn't die once. Felt you did a great job keeping the map user friendly with all the work arounds for the parkour. (Being someone who doesn't do so well with that, thanks) Keep up the good work.
Totally had a blast playing through this map with my sister. The puzzles and fights had just the perfect tuning without making it too easy or too frustrating. I've uploaded the first part of us playing through it to youtube. Can't wait for a sequel!
P.S. I got 69 Nuggets and 5 Ghast tears. which equals 123
You are welcome, if you did not point out my error in scoring I would of been stuck working out peoples scores!
Thanks, you made it to number 2 on the scoreboard
Glad you really liked my map :smile.gif: Pistons are great, but can do annoying things at times :huh.gif: You got on the score board at number 9.
Ok, will check out when you have more videos uploaded.
Thanks for playing, you make it in at number 4!
Nice to see you enjoyed the map. Thanks.

Thanks for the vid, will watch soon. Added to front page.

Glad you enjoyed the map. Not a big enough score I am afraid.

I wish I could send a PM to Lewis and Simon! But I can't :sad.gif:
Oh, the texture pack is not mine. Was made by Losm and he was good enough to let me use it :smile.gif:

Thanks for part 2, would be good if you posted some comments thou
But, have added your video to the front page :smile.gif:
Thanks, not high enough score I am afraid.
I am considering the sequel, will take a while thou.
The redstone took a long time to get right!
Added your score, you are number 4.
Thank you for your complement :smile.gif:

Thanks for playing, sorry the score misses out on the top 10.
It is hard at the end, but just like other games, it gets more difficult as you venture on...
Score is not enough to get you into the top 10, sorry.
Woh, seems you ninja'd your way in as I was updating this post. You nearly got lost in here :smile.gif:
149 points gets you in at number 8, well done!
Got only 86 points. :dry.gif:
And you really need to make the second part.
oh yeah, our final score was 142!

I Got 150
(5 Ghast Tears And 100 Gold Nuggets)
