"Oh well with the new Super-Flat world option, I guess I don't need to use this map pack anymore" Wrong. This map pack contains a bunch of different materials at different heights, and even contains a map with some trees, grass, water, sand, etc.
Hey guys, Dan here!
I have made these maps for your personal use, be it building, redstone, whatever you want! Each map contains 3 layers, the top layer, middle, and bottom. Every map contains a layer of bedrock at the bottom also. They are all 64x64 chunks, therefore 4096 chunks total, so a total surface area of 1048576 blocks, and at 64 height... there is a total of 67198864 blocks in each of these worlds!
Each world also contains a creative mode version along with a survival mode version, making it perfect for anyone!

Pictures!
Note that not all maps are included in here, just hopefully enough to give you an idea. There are only pictures of the first 12 maps.
When you download the .zip file, it will contain a readme text file, alongside 2 other folders. One for creative maps and one for survival maps. Open one of these, then copy the folder corresponding to the map you want, then paste it in your .minecraft\saves directory. If you don't know how to install custom maps, look up a tutorial, theres many of em.

Could you deepen the level in the water map? I think many people would appreciate that. It gives them an option to make nice looking boats and it can allow them to create island maps, like survival island or survi gurvi island.
Is it possible to request a map with the water lower further down? Like 1 bedrock layer then like 10? 15? ish water layers? Then juts air with the same hight? Been looking all over but can't find it :sad.gif:

You'll usually find me in the General Off Topic section. Also quote when you reply so I can see!
Yep! Custom maps will always work in later versions, just not in earlier versions, so yes! This was made in 1.7 - 1.8 so yeah.
:biggrin.gif:
Haha, thanks!
