The scene is in the middle of the Antarctic Ocean on a small island with limited resources and only each other to survive.
* * * UPDATED! * * *
It is getting close to sunset when you reach the island, your first task is to either wait until sunrise and regain the island with the power of the sun or take the island's inhabitance straight on in a lengthy battle throughout the night.
You must then construct a shelter that will help you survive the coming nights and harvest the resources while you can, using every day as efficiently as you can.
You may then decide to take on the dungeons and caves that lie deep below the island in order to enhance your arsenal of tools and weapons in order to regain control over the island and turn it from a natural nightmare into a peaceful paradise.
Then and only then, may you have a chance against all odds mobs in the middle of the Antarctic Ocean.

I play on easy, yet I still get 20+ monsters in one big group in the waterfall cave... I still got like 7 creepers(others mobs not included) when I came back up to the surface... The monster spawn system is broken for me... but great map :smile.gif:
I find Apple's OS prices amusing. They make you pay so much more for air, and many people think it's the OS that's putting on tons of money. But no, it's just the air inside the case.

That sounds like what happened to me last night when I was playing this with some friends. We ended up having to make a "composite" house that was made out of wood, stone, dirt and sandstone..
This looks pretty cool. My friend and I are playing survival island, but it's getting boring after a few days. Currently we're spawning in bedrock to make hidden, hard to access secret bases. xD Anyway, if I can get another person or two, and someone to host new server, then we may try this!

If you want, we are currently playing on it on my development server.
Latest releases will be on there about an hour before release on here.

Yeah, I figured that was the best way to approach this sort of map.
Yep, this is correct. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'll change the 'look' of the island, to not conflict it with 'survival island', a more 'unique' feel.
I'll add some more caves and dungeons.
Anything else?
Enjoy the extra's I have added! (List in first post)

I do hope to improve it with further revisions.
I am planning on increasing the island size, and giving it more of an 'Antarctic' feel with snow and ice.
As for the caves, I'm planning on redoing the entire lot and make each one unique and more rewarding after the mobs are defeated.
I can also make some 'objectives' that must be completed if people would like a more 'structured' survival island?
