An AdventureCraft map with a bit of everything
Focuses on using different combinations of items to provide fun ways of solving puzzles
The map covers an array of biomes and includes boss fights as well as puzzle rooms and plot rooms
The majority of the map occurs in one room that changes as you progress

- I have lost all interest in this map so please don't expect anymore updates. Sadly, it's not done and needs a lot more bug fixes as well as new content but I hope you still enjoy it "as is".
- v2.3.1 is out Fixes a lot of things and adds some slight new stuff
The difficulty of the map can be a little extreme for some I have included a walkthrough which is located inside the main folder About 2-5 hours of gameplay
NOTE: If you get spammed with javascript errors, try reloading the map
This map requires the mod AdventureCraft found here
Be sure to have the latest version
Updated the post
New picture, an Arcade Mode is now planned, and A DEMO!
Considering a name change
Biome Boss Battle sounds to cheezy
I'm open to idea's
I was thinking something like The Mini Misadventures of (Insert your name here)
I don't know
The map functions as a bunch of mini levels mostly boss fights, some puzzles, and some...just for fun
Kinda like WarioWare but the levels aren't THAT short
Each takes anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes...I think
New video, new picture, more modified info
Voice acting is being considered (just cause it sounds fun)
Plot won't be too serious
I'm going for a "smart-ass kid with sense of humor goes on stupid adventure and likes to point that this whole map is stupid" kinda feel
A bit curious, what kind of voice acting are you looking for?
Umm well there's 3 characters
The "hero", the "hero's" sub-conscious, and the bad guy
My brother will probably be doing the sub-conscious since it requires a very specific voice that he does well
The "hero" is just some smart ass guy who likes to explore and point out the obvious
The bad guy is, well, a bad guy
His voice is deep and slightly distorted and tries to be serious
But the "hero" makes that kind of hard
I was going to do the voices for the "hero" and bad guy but if someone else is willing to help, I'll give them a try
Also, I'm probably gonna use some voice distorter for the bad guy cause I doubt anyone could actually make the voice I'm looking for
Added Pansy Mode
Changed some info
Voice acting is still being considered
I really want to have some but I'm a terrible voice actor and I don't have good equipment
If anyone is up for the task just say so and send me some demos
Read the earlier posts to see what I'm looking for
All credit will be given where it's due
One more thing
Thanks to everyone who gave the demo a try
I know it wasn't much but I'm working hard on this
Although to be honest, this map should have been finished a while ago...
Updated the link to Pansy Mode since I forgot some small things
Altered more info
Voice Acting and Scripting aren't going to be done anymore unless someone wants to step in and help but I doubt anyone will
I'll be releasing the harder difficulties within the next 2-3 weeks
I've been holding this back for too long and now I just want to get it out of the way
*Rough estimate because I have to make both the Adventure Mode and the Arcade Mode
The levels are all basically done, I just need to test some of them and then connect all the levels in specific orders
Although I am thinking of adding another level...
A water themed one...
Hmmm...yes?
No?
Maybe so?
We'll see
If you still going to script spawning with bombs for the fire level thingy, just put
player.getInventory().addItem(Item(466,2))
into your scripts folder. Put that into a script block to run on trigger, then trigger it when needed.
Also that script gives 2 bombs so you can change the 2 value to whatever.

Thanks but I'm not using scripting anymore
I would need a lot of scripts if I used them
I'm using a workaround instead were after the level, the character goes to an "intermission" room where they are forced to trade in their items to continue
This needs to be said, I have recently discovered AdventureCraft and am hard pressed to find very many decent games. i have found maybe 4, and I have to say that I haven't even played yours and by the pictures am very impressed. If you need any help just ask. I might be able to help you with a bad guy voice, I have a few voices i can do or a friend of mine has a really deep voice and evil laugh. (I could also do a lord of the rings Gollum if you think it would be fun to have that lol) :laugh.gif:

Yay!
I'm surprised anyone would really like it at the moment since the official version isn't even out yet
As for help, I don't really need any
I'm not doing voice acting anymore for multiple reasons
There's still somewhat of a plot but it's pretty bad since I wrote it myself but then again, I don't want a serious and long plot
And the plot I made fits into the humor of the map since I'd much rather make my audience laugh then fall asleep cause of a boring story
Also updates on my progress: I'm currently having a little trouble with the first room
There's supposed to be a past/present element but something keeps messing up the map every time I test it
I'm assuming it's the AdventureCraft 1.7 update since everyone's been having problems so I'll wait till there's a fix to continue work on the map
The map itself is very much done (I know I've already said that but seriously, I'm getting close)
All that's left is connecting the levels together, finish the last cutscene, and then test it for bugs (which might take a while depending on what I run into)
My goal is to finish the DTR Adventure version 1st then use that as a base for the other versions
I'll then just cut out some content and make it slightly easier and that will be the Hardcore Adventure version
After that, I'll take a break then work on the Arcade Mode which should be simple enough but I want people to play the Adventure Mode 1st so the Arcade Mode won't be released for a while

Some of the info was slightly altered as well due to recent updates/decisions
Thank you
I was starting to think this map was a waste of time because no one was commenting on it
Support means a lot to me
