I'm at the first intersection in Waking up and don't know which path to take. Boomer Castle says death, We all Float says trap, and grove of Shrooms says second dungeon. Though, I'm not completely sure. I've been hoarding everything, with no deaths yet.

Take Boomer Castle. Is it dangerous? Yeah, but so is everything else. But, just take Boomer Castle. It has nice lewts.
I swear, if Vechs makes a map with a theme about Skeletons...
Skeletons? Tch, what can you do with skeletons, besides spawn them or their Wither counterparts, eventually spawn them riding spiders or any other mob, spawn them with potions effects, spawn them with enchanted armor and weapons...
It'd be nice to see a map where the base block is Monster Spawn Eggs. (Silverfish for the inadequately knowledgeable.) You'd always have the threat of Silverfish, and have to actually be careful about what you do.
Also, creeper explosions and other explosions should release Silverfish instead of just destroying the block. For maximum hehehe.
Now, here's a picture of amlup after getting Fire Protection. (Inevitable)
I only find silverfish a problem when my friends are being totally obliterated by three of them because they haven't trained to not die at the drop of a hat, and when there are over six hundred of them trying to attack me all at once.
Admittedly, maybe after the fifteenth Poison II potion I should have just killed them.

Allocators are no longer the future, we have Hoppers now. I still like them, though.
Instant Damage II (And III and IV when it comes out) will be the most effective way of dealing with large amounts of Silverfish.
The potions deal the highest damage around the epicenter of the break, and kill the Silverfish; and the ones not in the epicenter that get hit but not killed will spawn more Silverfish. But as you throw more and more into the same epicenter, the numbers will eventually thin out because the number being killed outweighs the number taking damage and spawning more, due to the ones that were hit but not killed from the very first damage splash you threw.
Consequently, don't try this with normal damage splashes, as that will just spawn more due to them not being killed in one hit.
My problem was that I couldn't hit them through the glass walls of the fleecey box, and I couldn't break the walls because of the lag, and because they would have instantly killed me.
I died anyway because I tried to teleport away so they would despawn and my computer would stop screaming "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WHAT DID YOU DO THIS TIME IDIOT"

So, I was unaware that the new mob armor changes means they have a slight chance to drop what they're wearing, but zombies can no longer drop Helmets, Swords, or Shovels unless the mob is carrying or wearing one.
You should finish the full version of Waking Up, Rosie.
There's some fun battlegear that is completely worthless by that point where you find it (by the time you find it), unless you even bother trying to finish *COUGH*nest*COUGH* with it, in which I'd hail you as a goddess of some sort.
Does this mean moar activity or wut? (I'm assuming that this was intentional)

Hello Rosie!
That picture of Amlup getting the fire protect enchantment in Waking Up (<---on-topicness) was awesome. That's the best use of the beacon block I've seen yet.
Frosty Beginnings
Starlight Caves
Blackdepth Asylum
Shatterbone Halls
The Black Ribbons
Cunnels of Tonfusion
The Hall of Victory
Castle Azure
Don't turn out the lights
Midnight Forest
Good area names or not?
Starlight caves = Starlight caverns (from Kaizo...try the glittering caves or the bejeweled caverns instead.)
Other than that they all sound really cool. Blackdepth Asylum is the best sounding one. Are these the names for the areas of your CTM map?

To all of you people who think Notch is still working on the game, he stopped working on Minecraft in late 2011. Get your facts straight and stop spamming his twitter about Minecraft updates.

WHAT?!
Danger zone.
+2 deaths, which is a total of 3. >_< Stupid overpowered Cave Spiders and Blaze contact damage (yes, I pulled a Rosie...)
My Minecraft Maps: coldfusionmaps.com
Blaze contact damage is meannn. Killed me in the lighthouse in Domara's map. ;-;
Also, you're one post from IRC HACKER. Get excited.
WHAT?!

feels like yesterday - I should stop posting here, methinks
doh hoh ho
fun part is you didn't die by the creepers, the entire objective of the area

Oh right.
WHAT?!
Danger zone.
Anyway, due to a miscommunication, I accidentally caused a Silverfish Apocalypse in the Grove of Sssshrooms.
My server started to lag to the point where I couldn't break blocks, and I was trapped inside a perfectly safe fleecy box with no way out.
Also, the turret broke and started shooting spiders instead because of the ridiculously fast spawner.
Also, creeper explosions and other explosions should release Silverfish instead of just destroying the block. For maximum hehehe.

difficulty = peaceful
problem solved
Rule: No peaceful. Problem not solved.
Vechs would switch to peaceful if he was trapped on a 7x7 platform suspended over thousands upon thousands of silverfish with no way out.
Console: Giving vechs 1 diamond sword...
Seeing as everyone wants to see Vechs in the situations we all have been in on his maps, let's start another common one.
What would he do in a cave with 5 ghasts, hordes of skeletons and a deadly river of lava?
