So after I finished Nightmare Realm, I returned to finish legendary.
I got to the Super Awesome Fun Box, and my framerate dropped soooooo much.
I have a pretty good computer (yay birthdays), i usually run Minecraft at 120 fps on far render, but all those spawners broguht it down to ~30. I sympathize with anyone that cant do that area because of all the spawners.
After dying a lot. I decided, screw this I'm going to get food.

I don't understand how that could lagg your game that much, spawners aren't really a big lagg factor... I didn't have any lagg at all in that area and my computer isn't super good.
There is a mob limited which should prevent that from happening.
Not really. As Etho explained it, there is no mob cap for mobs spawned by a spawner. If you watch OOG's playthrough of Legendary, you'll see that at one point they had to delete all the entities on the map because the lag was so bad.

Aaah right, I forgot about that, but it's weird that I've never got lagg there.

Correct, it is based on proximity to the spawner. I believe it's 6 monsters from each spawner, but they may share that cap if they are close enough to each other. However, if you run around a lot and drag the monsters away, then return to the spawner while the monsters are still far away, a new batch of enemies could spawn.
In this episode we explore some of the other islands behind the victory monument. On that island there's alot of a very important resource.. and a hidden dungeon! Mixed in all that somewhere I learn how to stop rain in minecraft. Hope you enjoy!

Nightmare realm 1.1 1.8.1 progress. (I guess I should mention that I am using one mod: The Endermen don't pick up blocks mod.)
Light. Something you're not gonna get alot of.
After respawning I went out to the first chest, killing two zombies and a creeper on the way, got the food and tools and bolted back to the relative safety of my house. I then went to destroy the ghast spawner outside the house (palced TNT on it and a wooden pressure plate next to it.) After that was done, I mined some netherrack and bridged out to the cobblestone building. All I have to say is: I propose we nickname stone blocks made out of 2 cobblestone slabs into "Trollstone". I did manage to get six actual cobblestone blocks out of it, though. Don't know how much there actually is in there, though. Took out the ghast that spawned with 2 well placed arrows, returned to my half-blown up house. I then went to get the other chest, the one with the flint and steel. I got the materials and started taking back the torches I had by lighting up the place with netherrack. I then quickly made a detour to destroy the ghast spawner where the cobblestone slab house is. I then proceeded to light up the rest of the starting island. I think it's more or less lit up fully except for one corner where a ghast spawner lies. Oh yeah, at one point when I returned to my house, I had made a small stairwell so I could harvest the remaining wood. Well, when I returned once there was a creeper there. Killed him before he could explode and then quickly plugged that up with cobblestone slabs. Finally, I died while lighting up the starting island: A skeleton shot me into some fire. I ran back into the house where my items safely fell onto the ground. I collected them and that's it for today.
Death total:
2: Once by zombie after being weakened by cave spider, once by skeleton shooting me into fire.
And finally, I have to say that from now on it's pretty much gonna be 100% blind. I regret nothing! *dies a thousand times*.

This is actually because there's a bad monster spawner, at 105, 28, -209 in the map. It's of type "Monster" which isn't actually a type you can have. You put it in and you'll get spammed with the above whenever you're near enough for it to try and render.
Fun huh? Hope this helps...
Edit: I keep finding more of these by the way. Looks like there's quite a few in this map...

Replace them with Blaze Spawners. Sure, in legendary, when people die they're enslaved by you...but hey, Steves are weak minions. Blazes are powerful ones equipped to make everything horrible forever.
Just watched your mcedit tutorial and...umm...you sound way too nice and calm to be the devious ******* that creates super hostiles... >.< Although your evil side almost broke free when you filled the ceiling of the caves with sand and had that short evil laugh haha... Anyways awesome video! A natural at commenting imo.

I too thought it. Following up on that, I vote that Vechs start doing lets plays of other CTM maps. Im talking Cranica's Forgotten lands, Grinch's Surv. Haven, Death's Arial Survival, ect. Thus far, their all pretty good, except for... Dark Dimensions.. I apologise, but those were an EMBARASSMENT.
Edit: And Twisted Logic 2: The Bridge. That is a bloody epic thing.

I can't tell for sure due to your texture pack, but it looks like some obsidian blocks.
