You got the "worst" ending. Try again for the best ending.
Great follow up, mostly because you added more redstone puzzles but it was still a fun map, one of the best mazes i've seen so far, I think it's because of the endless lava, the endless lines of bright red make everything seem so familiar besides having blocks with different light levels on them making it more recognisable... hmm.
Oh and it might be because I haven't slept in a while but the file you're hosting still has Room 3? Fire no longer endlessly spreads so it would be pretty hard to get past that room without, you know, flying up there are burning the roof...

Did you see the updated version of the map on the page before this one? It has a fixed version of that room...

Ah no I didn't bother looking through the comments, I would have thought you'd update the main thread directly and update the link.
Ok then I'll give the V2 a quick run through.
Okay, i've done it, it's great and the room was fixed nicely one thing though,
how are we supposed to get the furnace that's hidden in the wall in room 3? Just click quick before it's covered in sand?

I didn't update the main thread because Merlinus12 posted it and he has been inactive for a while.
Also, in spite of playing through this map dozens of times and (seemingly) peeling back every layer to keep it compatible with new Minecraft versions I never found that chest. Well done sir!
Awesome map! btw i found the secret ending! (by myself too!) that's pretty cool i tried to get back up and nticed that tunnel so ye, then noticed i had a flint and steel now because i noticed the portal at the beginning. nice map man can't wait for 3.
Great sequel! I enjoyed this just as much as I enjoyed the first one, and can't wait to play Escapecraft 3!
Now I have a few things that I would like to say about the game. The first thing is that I took the alternate route of starting the map. That's right, I didn't kill test subject 1089 :biggrin.gif:. [I won't spoil it for anyone but it should be easier to figure out how to do it because of the variety of changed textures for blocks in the default texture.] Because of that, every time I ran across a sign that mentioned how I 'killed' test subject 1089, I mumbled to myself about how I didn't do it, many lulz. Doing that also makes the true ending more easily accessible, but took away the dramatic feel of the fake ending, which I will always find quite ironic [If I do understand irony at all lol].
Now, my next comment is about the diamond armor you can find throughout the game. I am somewhat curious as to why there are two pairs of diamond leggings instead of one being replaced by a diamond chestplate. Speaking of armor, the gold armor you use to protect yourself from the TnT cannons on the roof seems to not work as well. When I launched from the second cannon, I landed on the platform and died, so I made my way back and had to cheat [Rightfully so, since it was an unfair death] to make any more progress. I don't know if this has to do with where I stood (Where I stood was just about where the pressure pad was, so when I activated it, I was still on it. I'm not sure if I was supposed to stand somewhere else) or if it is something Notch changed, but I know that I should have survived originally.
Finally, my last comment is about the first section of the redstone room. Where you supposed to use both redstone torches in the first floor to open not only the iron door blocking your path, but the iron door in the room below? I'm assuming so, because I was able to do it, but I was just a little confused about it that's all.
Once again, I really enjoyed this game, and can't wait to wrap up the third installment of this map series :smile.gif:
I love it. Sort of lol
I ended up flying and freecamming thru most of it xD
also i got 2 diamond pants (2? wtf) and 1 diamond boots!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I'm asup759 like everywhere else. If the pen is mightier than the sword, why do actions speak louder than words? Because creepers can blow you up, but they can't talk; but you can stab them in the heart with a pen and it's more effective than slashing at them with a sword. Philosophy just got OWNED.
I fixed it :smile.gif:

EDIT: I got past by cheating, but I used the second launcher and ended up dying from the fall..
