Hi. So, I have used your mod, but when I try to play the record, it says it cant find the file? I have checked multiple times, but it doesnt work. Also, the folder that gets created is outside my world save. Pls help, I REALLY want to use your mod.

Hey guy, I use MultiMc and I cannot replay my mocaps. It records them just fine, though*. Can you somehow make the file path configurable? I do not like using the Vanilla launcher and currently do not have any files in AppData.
Nevermind, I got it to work. I just labeled it wrong in the command block. Forgive my ignorance.

This is a really good map, I can see this fitting in with the actual MC game for Adventure Maps. I don't know if it would be possible but for picking a skin, you should be able to link it to a skin page from skindex or something. I don't know.

So you'd have to put "2014022316043213545" as the skin name, which works fine just copy/pasting into the command block but a bit of pain for people to look up. Skindex doesn't have any kind of "unique name" per skin that I can see:

Thats great man, I'm all for it. Uploading to Skindex is a simple process, but you'd probably have to post a small tutorial on how to extract the embed number and place it into the command block - if you decide to implement it. Perhaps the future GUI will be able to speed the process up?

May I make a request? That you allow it to use any model in the game, not just players. So we can have scripted events with animals and mobs and villagers and the likes. THAT would be amazing.

Something i would like to suggest is added... uhh... "maneuverability".
I noticed when playing around with this mod that the "Clone" (as mentioned) can't interact with the world in any way.
It would be nice if it could interact with Minecarts/Boats/Horses, or even be able to set it to spawn with one in the play command.
Another thing is they can only use bows and arrows.
Would be nice if you could implement snowballs (for maybe a snowball fight),
and thrown potions,
and maybe even hitting other entities with their sword.
And maybe even after that if you have nothing else to do, some Mod Support.
I was testing it holding items and using items, and when it held any of the "large" objects from Galacticraft the objects just appeared flat in its hands rather than above its head.
And again, more projectile support, but modded projectiles.
Well there's some things that bugged me. I'm fine with them as they are, but it would make it much nicer to use things.
If it's too hard to do, then you don't need to.

I've been thinking about it, but to achieve all the stuff that's recorded right now (especially shooting/right clicking items etc) I've had to make my own 'player' render/entity so it's not a quick job.
Will have a ponder though, maybe limited to just body/head movement data for mobs..

Thanks for replying, Each of these things has to be supported manually - so I'll be starting with vanilla stuff bit by bit
Replaying with horses etc raises a question - on a replay do we spawn in a new horse? etcAlso just passed 1,000 downloads, thanks Yoglabs!

I also discovered that when i had coloured leather armour. it was just plain brown during the replay.
and when i interacted with the command block, "Pausing" the world, the recording froze as it should, then did all the actions it would've done in that time frame when i exited

You need Forge first Install that as per here:

then just drop mocap in the "mods" folder once you've loaded forge at least once.
Alternatively, use something like FTB launcher with 1.6.4 modpack and add the mod to that pack
But all in all, this mod is amazing.

I'm using the latest version of forge and your mod. I load up singleplayer with cheats, I can record just fine, but I can't play? I get the message:
"You do not have permission to use this command".
Anything I'm missing?
*edit, I realise you can use the command block, but I'd like to manually be able to do it if possible

You can mocap-record manually, if you're OP (on single-player, you have to "open to lan")
