This mod started in January, 2013 like any other Pokémon mod probably does. I wanted to make tamable Pokémon to fight along side the player against other Pokémon and mobs, like they did in Pokemobs by SeaGoingManatee (I had never heard of mods like Pixelmon or Pokecube when I started). But I could not program tamable Pokémon to save my life
I started adding hostile mobs instead, to get practice. Over time, the idea of "killing Pokémon" to get their drop items did not sit well with me. So I made "corrupt" Pokemon.
My own system of a few tamable Pokemon is still an ultimate goal, but I want to wait until I am more confident with entity files and Forge itself. And I need more practice with math animation. c.c'
Done! =D
What is "creepy pasta" supposed to beeeeeee?! I do not understand it, even after Googling it. c.c' But I am sorry anyways. o.o
If it makes you feel better:
Made that model for fun earlier this week.
Have you heard of Slenderman? Eyeless Jack? If so, you have heard of creepypasta I still have no idea why they call it that. If you're gonna call it creepy some sort of food, why not creepy cupcakes?!??
Hey, guys. Quote me if you want me to respond. Otherwise I'll have no idea what the hell you want with me.

I have not thought about doing snakes yet. o.o I would probably have to look into other mob coding like Silverfish. And I think my Demon Lord Ninetales model is a big enough project for whenever I feel like talking that. xD It needs a little editing in Techne to fit a new standard I have. But 100+ part models in Techne are brutally laggy to do. -.-; Took me nine hours over the course of two days to do the original model back in July, just a few days after Demon Vulpix's was first made.
As a side thing for all you reading, I do not have a whole lot of time throughout the week with my two jobs and college to check this forum often, so if I seem unresponsive, that is why. c_c'
Here is a little bit of work from yesterday:
I'll tell ya'll one thing, I dunno how I am getting as much done as I am since school started this semester. c.c'
Thanks for all the compliments everyone. ^^ They are very motivating and inspiring!
I can assure you it will be as finished as Minecraft is finished. =P (probably never)
I do have a skeleton list of things I wanna do for Alpha-Beta. I might post that sometimes.

Also, I'm looking into coding the Arbok, so I could finish that and then send you the code in a PM (Private Message)

Just wanted to say, the models and textures for this mod are absolutely amazing. They're a perfect in-between to boot... the models are not too simple and basic like Pokecube, and they're not stupidly over-done like Pixelmon. Not that you seem to be aiming to have this mod be anything remotely close to what they're trying to do, but still. It's Pokemon nonetheless and you do it better design wise, even if they are corrupted.
I very eagerly await the tame versions that you mentioned were your original goal. Perhaps Zorua/Zoroark could be an addition? xP
(Also, are the mentioned tamed versions going to be normal looking, or will they be corrupted as well?)
OH WHAT THE! I come back after being absent for five days and find my page all messed up. c_c' Sorry ya'll. Thankfully, a friend of mine pointed out I can use my DeviantArt account to host the images (I hope). We'll see if that holds.
hope you looked up the creepy pastas i told you about they might just give ya ideas
Heheh, I think I'll pass. I probably don't know much about Creepy Pasta because I don't have much interest in those things. Contrary to what my mod shows, I am not that into disgusting, scary things.

A FamPack is a package of Familiars for the Familiars mod. Here's a link to a tutorial. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1205545-tutorial-how-to-create-your-own-familiar-for-familiars-api/#entry14723174
Oh, thanks for the offer, but I will pass on help for now. I am still ironing out problems in my coding. I still keep finding new methods to add to help with animation. The newest coding style I added for Snow Sorceress Braixen showed me a new way to do animations that are significantly easier if the models are build a certain way in Techne.
Once I made those rules a predictable pattern, I can share those with any people I decide to ask to help.
I'll try and remember to check out that "FamPack" later when I have time.

Aww, thanks. ^^ I would say what I am most after with my mob models is animation. And I try to keep mostly true to Minecraft's simple look and charm. It is a personal rule of mine not to use any model size rescaling. They are built true to size in Techne.
Assuming my new link source work, here is a most recent example in learning to animate in Minecraft:
I did my best taking screenshots with old fashion "prt sc" button. xD
I do hope to do a good job with tamables. The very first mod I ever played was Pokemobs by SeaGoingManatee and I fell in love with being able to fight mobs along side a Pokemon. Not just telling them to fight for you.
But yes, tamables will be normal, definately not corrupt. And I promised myself, the tamables, when the times comes, will have about the best of my best animating skills behind them. But until then, I am not really going to build any models to sit around. I keep learning better and easier way to do things.

Fixed! D: (I hope)
Ok. But if you do need any help, I got way to much time on my hands
Alpha 0.2 is released! Be sure to check the change log to see what changes/fixes I made with the original six mobs.
I have to say, releasing this mod makes me a nervous wreck trying to make sure everything is reasonably working. I have trouble checking here often because of work and school. Maybe only once a week.
I try to spend my free time actually working on the mod rather that being social, if that means anything to people. =P School is getting tougher, so I dunno how long until the next update. But I hope you enjoy the new/adjusted content.
I forgot to say thanks for the videos that have been made. I appreciate the time and creativity put into them. ^^
I noticed Forge 1.7 finally has a stable build. I went and downloaded it to see how difficult it would be to update.
It is an absolute mess. I can't even get a blank mod set up to work properly. I think I am going to sit and wait for more documentation to come out before I even start over from scratch this time around (would make the 6th time I have started over on this mod; so I am rather used to doing that now).
Sorry! I really wanna play this in at least 1.7.2 too.
In the mean time I will keep working on model designs as I said I would emphasize in early Alpha. All the while Minecraft and Forge are going around, jacking up the rest of the code for modders with each update.
In other news, after releasing, Alpha 0.2, I finally got a chance to sit down and play my own mod for the first time since before Alpha release. I am having a blast playing it in Survival. I hope others are too!
In celebration of X and Y, I was thinking Dark Glass Yvetal and Zombie Xerneas.
well, maybe not zombie Xerneas, but I like the concept of Yvetal. I don't have X and/or Y but I do know what they look like. Should be Mutated Xerneas... I don't know what it would look like though
