Chipmunk,
Monkey,
Pandas,
Seal
Seahorse
Jellyfish
Lizards(Different models and textures)
Komodo dragon
Fish
Bugs(Fly, butterfly, dragonfly, mosquito, bee, beetles, worms, lady bugs)
Great ideas! Although lizards, butterflies, dragonflies, bees, flies, fish, and seals are already in AtmosMobs. Also, high-five, since Komodo dragons were my idea.
They could be able to spawn in rivers. What would you consider them, a land creature or watermob?
Hm, rivers could be a possibility. They could go in the water and come out to the riverside as they please; coding this is possible seeing how alligators are capable of doing this in the 'Mo Creatures mod.
Oh hey, it's you again nummy.
Remember we don't want Davey to add too many mobs; having billions of animals in one biome ruins the atmosphere which is the complete opposite of the mod's intention.
Also I noticed that he might be adding gray wolves; I, personally dislike this idea.. I find having both vanilla and mod wolves together is just weird and doesn't really make much sense.. I don't like them in 'Mo either.
Trust me though guys, I am really looking forward to this mod and have nothing against the suggestions

You are awesome. But I think grey wolves should stay. I would like them as an at least more sophisticated wolf.

How about improve our vanilla wolves, let them become better.
Also, I still don't think gray wolfs are tamable, maybe gray wolves have a 'friend and enemy' system which is similar to villager, Otherwise the wolves just like you slave after you tame them.
When you have a enormous positive values (bigger than 20) in the system, wolves will attack your enemies if wolves are near you and see you get attack.
When you have a small positive values (0-20) in the system, wolves will start to get close with you and follow you a little distance(maybe 10 blocks).
When you have zero value in the system, wolves will ignore you. But if you take out the raw meat and eating non-stop,they will attack you until you throw a piece of raw meat(maybe you eat 5 raw meat in 30 seconds you need to give them 1) or die, if you show them the weapon, they will try to stay away from you.
When you have negative values , wolves will show their angry face when you try to get close to them and they see you, they will attack you if you are too close(according to the values. If it is -20, they will attack you when you stay inside 20 blocks away from them. If it is -5, they will attack you when you stay inside 5 blocks away from them)
The gray wolves maybe are move and attack as the group(they will not separates more than 50 blocks), so the system will count as the whole group of gray wolves, not single wolf.
You can freed them meat(every kind of meat) and bone to increase the values(each bone and meat have 50% to increase it for 1, 10% to increase it for 2, 40% without any increase), each attack from you to them will decrease 10(If you make the last hit to the wolves, values will decrease for 35).
But if your values are negative, you can increase the value by throwing meat or bone on the ground and leave slowly.

Very sophisticated indeed. Maybe that could work with bears too!
I'm very happy to see that this mod is back in development. I would like to make a suggestion to resolve the decision over whether to use realistic eyes or Minecraft-y eyes. I think the best course of action would be to add an additional texture file for each mob, one with each type of eye, or maybe even two different downloads, each one containing textures for one of the types of eye. This shouldn't be too much work, seeing as there would be only a two-pixel difference between the files.
Also, I noticed that you're not done adding sounds. I would be happy to find, rip, and edit the sounds for you so that you can work on other things. Just message me.
Does anyone prefer a 1.5.2 release over 1.6? I might be able to arrange something.... maybe :3
I would be elated with either version, though I don't code mods. Being focused on 1.6.2 might be more time efficient.
I am quite excited to use this mod up in Alaska. It gives me the option in class to have some native animals. An arctic fox...SWEET! It fits great in my class work.
I'm glad this is being updated. I've been looking for a mod that implemented a few specfic animals in my minecraft game. One of those would be the seal, and I'm glad I found your mod. Now I can finally have a pet seal. I can't wait for the release, and thank you for reviving it.
PCAwesomeness here! I'm happy to announce that if Daveyx0 adds all the mobs he planned for this mod, then I could finally build an insanely huge zoo and aquarium. Well, if there are at least 14 mobs, then it's approvable. But if it's higher, I will explode with joy. Keep up the good work, Davey!

NO! NO MOAR PLATYPUS FO YOU!
Just kidding. Platypus would be a good one. I'm not sure if Daveyx0 wants them to be in his mod or not.
Problem is, where would they spawn? No biome would really make any sense.. hopefully he can find a way (if he plans on adding them at all).
They could spawn in rivers. Rivers are technically their own biome (hence the term "technical biome").
Keep scrolling. Just keep scrolling...

Good for you. I don't mind them being added in-game.

TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!!
Keep it coming, I know it will be worth however long it takes.. and I'll toss my hat in the ring for a 1.52 version first..
