Hello, my name is Death_Dealer. This mod is a concept i came up with and a good friend of mine Tambre has made it happen. i do all the modeling and textureing for the mod while tambre does all the coding. This mod adds *NO NEW* blocks. It revamps the game making almost everything that use to be a flat sprite-like image is now fully 3D. please download our pre-release and try it for yourself. to clarify this mod has more capabilitys with the models than the vanilla 1.8 3D system. we hope to get enough support to add 3d-texture pack and mod support. so hit that green arrow to the bottom right and leave a comment^_^

I want to say that I think this mod is a great idea, and would add a nice touch to Minecraft! Looking at the 'Texture but not yet implemented' section, I particularly like the sugar cane 3D texture! I hope all goes well with this mod, and if you could whack me a message when the first downloadable version is available that would be really nice of you!

Yep, it looks nice! The video had too much glare. It was hard to see edges on the tools.
yes i know the video isnt that great.... i was just trying to throw something together so you guys could see the progress. i would spend more time making a better video but i have alot of work to do on the mod itself so i cant. i hope you guys can appreciate all the work were doing here:D hopfully version 1 will be out soon and someone else can make a video for us^_^
I'm always a fan of mods that don't really add any blocks to Minecraft, but instead makes a lovely look to it, that makes the game even more better. I'm going to keep watch on this mod's progress, thanks for the mod!

small update on my progress in op, got checklist now.
PLEASE NOTE just because something is on the list does not mean we will be able to add it, it means we will try.
Checked the video and textures and it is great! I really like aesthetic mods like this one. If it's possible, could you upload a pre-release of this mod? I'd like to try this mod for myself.

I guess it would be possible in some way...But since the textures we use are much more different and aren't 16x16 I couldn't probably write it to know where to put the textures...They would need to be specifically made....But I guess I could look into it once I get into contact with Death Dealer again, I lost contact with him

hello all im back, sorry for leaving for a bit: / computer crapped out on me. ive got myself a nice new one so im working hard on my models again. stay tuned for an update and V1 release in the near future.

i have no plan to do this. the 3d models themselves are made based off the texture. i basically take a 2d picture and imagine what it would look like with the 3rd demension added to it. IF i get enough support i might do another texture pack like this. i have some in mind but i think id rather have fans of the mod decide, after were all done with the work were doing now on the default textures
the objects are UV mapped very specifically, and to automate this proccess would fail horribly. they are not just the basic 2d picture hook up to 3d generator that stretchs the side, like minecrafts "fancy" dropped items.
sorry i actually contacted tambre to do my own work and to have the creative control on the model that i wanted, granted tambre does give me feedback on positioning, texures, and overall model quality. i do alot of the heavy lifting in the creative department, please dont let this make you think i do all the work tho. we both have done a CRAZY aount of work on this. i appreciate the offer tho: )

Tomorrow I'll have many hours of time to properly update to 1.6.2 code base. (1.7 is already coming out )
But I need to fix textures not showing up on my 1.6.2 code base and fix debugging...Might take couple days, though I'd hope for it to take less.
I got an Internal Pre-Alpha Release Candidate! Now optimization, a lot of positisoning and it might be available some time soon. (next week? Depends on Death Dealer :))

use this with shaders better animations and improved first person and all other things like that, whoa... just gloreous
yes this is its intended purpose, to use it with a shader mod (the video is using SUES and better FP mod). but it can be used outside of the shader because the mod has some cool settings and features:D
