Awesome, really? Its gooing to be multi-player? How is that going to work though? Is everything one that joins the server going to be able to build their own kingdom or just admins or what? And if everyone can build their own kingdom then, arent there going to be like kingdoms everywhere? Wont that lag a server?
Hello Tyber (or anyone else who can help me),
First (to Tyber), let me congratulate on writing your thesis. Going for a doctorate? Or something else? Anyway (directed at anyone who can help, not just Tyber), I've recently been dinking around with some mods on the Hexxit modpack, taking out some mods (GET OUTTA MY HEXXIT, TWILIGHT!), adding my own mods in (aww YEAH, struttin around wit mah Berserker's Claymore), and I added Tales of Kingship, not knowing that every time I try to spawn in the kingdom, it lags out and essentially crashes (I can't exit without using the Task Manager). I need some help. The mods I added were this, RPG Inventory, Highlands Biomes (replacing ExtraBiomesXL), Better World Gen 4, Ugocraft, and CraftHeraldry. I'm thinking that either BWG4 is the problem, or I'm not using enough RAM. Could someone please help?
*edit*: I forgot to mention - every time I force exit Hexxit after one of these failed kingdom loads, the upper right hand corner of the Technic launcher somehow tracks the location of my mouse if I try to move my mouse onto the screen.
Questions:
1. When I build my own structure for a farm or something how will we allocate people to know what it is?
2. How long (roughly) do you think until done?
I went through the propr steps last night on my laptop to try this out but had no luck. Then today I realized I needed to change profiles in the minecraft launcher to the forge profile. That was simple to fix, however I am now crashing when I click the [Play] button in the launcher.

Cool mod! I loved the first one so I know I'll enjoy this one, but for some reason the starting village/guild doesn't spawn when I create a new world. Can someone help me please?
Whenever there is something you don't know you should try to learn instead of just saying "I don't know how to do this". Trust me it's a good habit to try to extend your capabilities. To help you out though here's how you post a crash report:

To help you with your crash however, this specific line stands out:
This is the point where you read the title of this thread and realize your mistake.
Yeah, when I saw that I nearly slapped myself. Thank you very much for pointing that out to me, now I am off to figure out how to get 1.5.2 so I can try again.
p.s. I thank you sir for the code to make spoilers, I was in quita a rush when I wrote my original post, so I did not have time to get it fixed before I headed out of town for a LARP trip.
I know that there are tools that allow you to downgrade your minecraft version, but this way I can still play other versions and I can also keep my minecraft files in another folder. (I prefer my saves to go on my D drive since my C drive is an SSD with only 64 GB of memory that houses the operating system)
Current minecraft launcher lets you degrade to 1.5.2.
Ugh windows spell check keeps changing "modpack" to "mudpack". Better add it to my dictionary.
Whats good about windows: A lot of things. Whats bad about windows: The Stupid Spellcheck.
Anyways, for the people who are using the launchers, I would suggest putting in the mod manually as the launcher would probably not know how to install it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't know if this part of the working progress, but after the reficules come ruin parts of the main city, there's no way to repair it. I tried to use the guild master to repair buildings, but he just crowned me king again and the reficules came again. And then they killed him. xD Then I tried to use the Y menu and no buildings from the first city appeared.
After this, I opened a new word, spawned a new city and covered every block in water. THEN I completed the quests and they came again- and still destroyed everything. But you should see your city under water. Look's hilarious. Atlantic city, my friend. And the citizens hated me. xD And the LAG! With all the water- and then the fire, too! Best idea I've ever had!
The point is that your not supposed to repair the guild. The cutscene will be made later. Good idea of Atlantic Cities!!
I just started playing this mod and noticed something with the Guild Master; from the point you finish your first task, every time you talk to him, a new wave of reficules start. At first I thought you needed to talk to him after the wave and he would say something like: "The reficules have been defeated. Now go gather some stuff to repair the town" but apparently not. The waves just keep on coming every time you talk to him. I tried to talk to the Town Builder (the one with the goggles by the castle/guild hall), but he just says: "I would really need some materials to finish up the town." So I tried spawning in a whole inventory worth of wood logs and cobblestone but he doesn't seem to want it. My questions are then;
1: How do I repair the town after a reficule attack?
and
2: Do I just abandon the town to suffer from its demise and fall into oblivion?
The transition event from guild to kingdom isn't finished yet. You can't repair the town, besides, if you did the reficules will just burn it down again. Abandon the town and set off! Press y to get the scepter.
I don't tend to play minecraft a lot of the time. I only play it to build something or play mods. I was on a trip to Europe, I visited London and Paris. Paris turned out to be duller than I thought it would be,
So I was attempting to claim land and Im wondering if there is something that can change the elevation at which you claim land?... because I was confused as to why it wasn't working and then looked up and all of the platforms were 70 blocks above me. I mean I guess I can test stuff out in the air?...
install forge... yes you did say that... I think i did install forge... I'll come back and tell you when nothing happens to minecraft...
(in other words, it would've been simpler if you had nothing to do with forge.)
You take wrong.
