I just thought I'd give one last update before the new version Friday! I've been trying to cram as much as possible the past few days in to this update, even though the purpose for the update itself was mainly adding a requested feature to the properties file. With the time it's taken since the last update, I definitely wanted to make this worthwhile.
Here's a list of some of the major things I've already finished which will be in this update, and I definitely think you guys are going to enjoy them:
Rocket Launchers and related items
Sniper rifles and related items
Assault rifles and related items
Appropriate Dahl weapons now burst fire
Eridium blocks to store your eridium bars
Toned down villager sales, and some villagers now buy your old weapons
A new achievement
Added usable random weapons in the creative inventory that only change when right clicked in hand
A few new shield effects
And more!
As it sits, tomorrow I'll be implementing one last major feature, and then rounding the rest off. The update itself should be up by 1:00 PM EST, Friday, and I'll released the full changelog then as well. And, again, thanks to everyone for all the support with this mod so far! I'm glad to have made something you all quite enjoy.

The problem was the fact the variable name for the right click delay is different outside of eclipse, so I wasn't overriding it to 0 every use like I should have been, and it wasn't able to check every tick like intended. This hopefully should be fixed in the next update.

The problem is, every time you use the right click button, Minecraft sets a delay before it'll check it again, about 3/10ths of a second. The variable itself, however, is private, meaning unless I edit the base file, I normally wouldn't be able to change it. But in Java you can sorta "hack" a class from code itself, manually giving yourself access, but to do this, you need the field/method/class's name. However, I had totally forgotten that when Minecraft is obfuscated the field's name would change entirely. So it was checking for the field rightClickDelayTimer which didn't exist in the obfuscated Minecraft, and thus wasn't getting rid of the right click delay. It was an easy fix though, I just had to change it to what the new name would be, field_71467_ac. It had nothing to do with the NBT variables itself, which is what I was originally looking for the bug in.
Updated to 0.0.8a! Can't wait to hear what you guys think of it! It's the largest changelog so far:
v0.0.8a: Updated to 1.5.2. Added assault rifles, sniper rifles, smgs, rocket launchers, and their related items. Sniper rifles have unique zoom stat, press z to use their scope. Appropriate Dahl weapons now have burst fire. Marauders can now spawn with assault rifles and smgs. Higher level Marauders and Psychos now have more hp (midgets always have 5 less), are more likely to use higher tier weapons, and are more likely to drop weapons on death. Reduced distance Psycho and Marauder name tags are visible. Eridium blocks can now be made with 9 Eridium bars. Tweaked ECHO communicator, it now only works within player reach with 100% accuracy, but a new feature has been added, a compass now appears at the top of the screen which indicates nearby mobs. (Blue = Players (not sneaking), Red = Hostile mobs, Green = non-hostile mobs) 3 new shield effects. (Spike damage, Elemental Resistance (of the type displayed on the shield), and slow health regeneration.) The Twin pistol prefix now consumes new ammo, and pistols now have a chance to gain melee damage with the Bladed prefix. Jakobs weapons now fire on mouse press rather than release. A new achievement. (Watching the World Burn, light 50 enemies on fire with Incendiary weapons) Added usable random weapons in the creative inventory (materials), they only change in to weapons when right clicked in hand. Grenades now effect other players when PvP is enabled. Grenades now include a short description about what they do. Singularity grenades now have their own particle effect. Halved bullet drop and knockback. Guns now only deal half damage to players instead of all non-hostile mobs. Fixed the fire rate stat not working properly. Lowered rate of ammo drop, and ammo now despawns after 1 minute instead of 5. Added ammoDropSetting to properties file which changes how ammo drops. (regular, item form, not at all) Toned down villager sale probability, upped prices, some villagers now buy weapons in exchange for eridium bars. Tweaked various weapon stats.

Will there be anymore crafting recipes for the Eriduim?
Possibly in the future, but the plan for them at the moment is to be used as currency for vending machines, which still are quite a ways from being done. Though, I'll definitely try to use them in any other small items I may end up adding.

Edit: I think I got it, I needed to add null check somewhere, because when your tool breaks it gets rid of the item, but it's still checking for the item in the code. I'll upload a new version ina sec.

I can confirm it. It freezes on the last hit to kill the mob, and crashes. I did it with my fist, though. And it was a Lvl 2 Maruader, it may just be your mobs.

No it's all mobs, and it's checking for an item in your hand, so that would be why it also happens with your fist, since you wouldn't have one. But I'll upload a new version in 10 minutes max.

Possibly in the future, but the plan for them at the moment is to be used as currency for vending machines, which still are quite a ways from being done. Though, I'll definitely try to use them in any other small items I may end up adding.

I get this whenever one of my tools breaks upon hitting a mob.
Weird. Only when your tool breaks? I'll check it out now and fix it if I can recreate it, which seems like it shouldn't be too hard.
Edit: I think I got it, I needed to add null check somewhere, because when your tool breaks it gets rid of the item, but it's still checking for the item in the code. I'll upload a new version ina sec.
I can confirm it. It freezes on the last hit to kill the mob, and crashes. I did it with my fist, though. And it was a Lvl 2 Maruader, it may just be your mobs.
No it's all mobs, and it's checking for an item in your hand, so that would be why it also happens with your fist, since you wouldn't have one. But I'll upload a new version in 10 minutes max.
EDIT: Updated, it should be fixed in the new version.
