Hey it looks very very very cool please update the mod and add more weapons
I definitely plan to.
Just spent the past few hours working on sniper rifles. I'm really trying to clear some time, seeing how it's been quite a while since the last update.

Just thought I'd give a quick update to show that progress is being made! Like I've said, I'm going to include ALL the weapon types in some form in the next update. I've been doing some work on sniper rifles lately, here's a quick look:
Also working on making the levels actually mean something for the marauders and bandits, along with adding some new effects to the randomly generated items such as spike damage to shields. The ECHO communicator should also work a bit better at picking the mob you're looking at in the next update.
There's a ton more to be done, but I'll definitely try and do the best I can.
The random guns are all in the creative inventory, in the big list or under the weapons tab. You can also find villagers who sell them, mobs that drop them, and they'll occasionally be in chests.

Heh, this mod is pretty fun with the magic of NBT editing. Just made a machine gun pistol that shoots like a shotgun with dead accuracy. Fantastic job with the mod, I can't wait to see more things implemented!

Yup, 90% of the stats are dealt with NBT, so if you know what you're doing, you can pretty much get any gun you'd like.
Just have to be careful, because a wrong value here or there could cause a crash.

could you give an estimated time limit until the next update like at least a week or something and i like the sniper view its cooland in the next update can you add new slots next to the armour slots so i can wear armour and have the grenade mod, shield and ECHO communicator on at the same time

I unfortunately can't give an estimate, but I would like to have it out as soon as possible. Still have a tons of sprites to make, along with some of the major features. As I've said though, I'll try and make it be worth the wait.
If it starts taking too long though, I'll probably end up cutting the update in to smaller pieces though, but i'd really like to do it all at once as a sorta 1.0 update, since most of the basic functionality will finally be in. The only real exception would be any bugs or problems that need being fixed.
As for the armor, I'd sorta like to add slots, but I honestly don't think that's going to happen. But, the items themselves will have some added functionality in the future anyways. I'm adding new effects like spike damage and elemental resistance to shields. There is going to be a set bonus for having all 4 items (when including the class mods which are going to also be next update). I also want to add passive skills at some point, so all in all they should balance out the fact you can't wear regular armor.
What are the spawning conditions for the mobs? and is this mod able to be used for multiplayer servers?
The spawning conditions are the same as any other hostile mob, but like Creepers, won't burn during the day, so you may still see them hanging around from time to time. And yup, should completely work on servers.

The firerate is in miliseconds, right? I tried to set it below 200, but the gun still shoots at 5 bullets per second. Is there a limit?

There may be an update soon after all, a server owner needs me to add an option in the properties file, and I'd really not have to go back and disable some of the new stuff for the update, so I'll probably release sniper rifles and such along with it. It'll probably be out by Friday.
Keep in mind this will not be the major update I've been planning, but it will contain some new stuff however.

The firerate is in miliseconds, and there shouldn't be a limit because it should check outside of the normal game tick if it should fire or not, allowing for some seriously high, and laggy, fire rates. The way it shows the stat in-game is how many shots it fires per second.

Still, my gun shoots slowly, even when the firerate is set to 50<ms. The ammo pool(which i set to 200)still decreases at about 5 bullet per second.

I don't really know much about NBT editting itself since I've never really done it, but setting the value super low from the code itself works fine. But, there are pistols that gen with firerates at more than 5 per second. Otherwise, I don't really know what would be going wrong. The cap itself is what it shoots at a delay of 0, or every check, which is 20 per second, or Minecraft's tick rate.

Hmm. I'll try again when I'm home.

I just thought I'd give one last update before the new version Friday! I've been trying to cram as much as possible the past few days in to this update, even though the purpose for the update itself was mainly adding a requested feature to the properties file. With the time it's taken since the last update, I definitely wanted to make this worthwhile.
Here's a list of some of the major things I've already finished which will be in this update, and I definitely think you guys are going to enjoy them:
Rocket Launchers and related items
Sniper rifles and related items
Assault rifles and related items
Appropriate Dahl weapons now burst fire
Eridium blocks to store your eridium bars
Toned down villager sales, and some villagers now buy your old weapons
A new achievement
Added usable random weapons in the creative inventory that only change when right clicked in hand
A few new shield effects
And more!
As it sits, tomorrow I'll be implementing one last major feature, and then rounding the rest off. The update itself should be up by 1:00 PM EST, Friday, and I'll released the full changelog then as well. And, again, thanks to everyone for all the support with this mod so far! I'm glad to have made something you all quite enjoy.
Yup. I plan to have at least the basics to each of the weapon types in the next update.

Nope, at least not legitimately.
