Would you guys like me to create a challenge map, featuring this mod and the GraviSuite mod, to see how long it takes you to craft the GraviChestPlate?

Just logged in after getting my new computer fixed. Woot! I'm really glad to see this isn't dead as it is a great mod that I think deserves more recognition. Yay for NEI plugin and great job making already one of the (if not THE) best advanced crafting mods out there!
Alright, It's time to release the newest version: 0.1.9pre1
It requires MC 1.4.5 and Forge #438+
Changes:
- Proper handling of vanilla shaped recipes.
- Fixed server crash when crafting stuff from the XACT Crafter machine.
- The Craft Pad will show you the missing ingredients for your recipe.
- When holding shift on the Chip Case's, Craft Pad's or on the Crafter's GUI, will reveal the recipes encoded into the chips (you'll see a green effect overlay over the items).
There is a small compatibility issue with NEI, which would not let you have access to one of the new features, but will still work fine. I already contacted ChickenBones for that, and he'll update NEI soon with the fix. And then I'll release the full update.
I'm not one to ask for more but I was wondering if it would be possible for this to link and request from logistic pipe systems?
As of now, only the resources inventory can be accessed by pipes/tubes.
I've been debating for quite a while if I want to allow the automation to craft the stuff. That will happen as soon as I make up my mind.
That's a lot of power, not sure wether it would spoil the fun. Either multiplying per four the density of autocrafting banks, at the cost of aditional technology requirements (not too big, though), or limiting the autocrafting to manual stations as a temporal tool to build the single density building systems we can build now. It would be a great addition for technical modpacks should you allow the logistic autocrafting.
Yes, it's how powerful they would become that has kept me thinking whether I allow that or not.
That I've been thinking is to add some sort of "auto crafting module", that would stick to the side of the machine. So each module would be auto crafting one of the recipes stored. That would balance stuff a bit.
well if you decide to that would be great. if not request pipe next to it would work as well LOL but I'm all about one less thing to do LOL
I've also considered that, and would be great addition to the modules system I mentioned above.
However, I'd have to get in touch with Krapht to work around a way to make this possible: to make request to the logistics network.
If not, RP2's machines would make this task fairly easy: a regulator to keep the resources in stock, and a few filters that would be providing the resources. Or even, use a supplier pipe to keep the resources inventory supplied.
Bottom line: i'm considering how to add automation without making this too overpowered. In fact, I think about this every day.
And the most convincing idea ATM is to add modules: for storage, auto crafting, and requesting items (LP or RP2).
well the only automation I'm think of is getting items to the table would still have to open it and click on the item you need. I enjoy crafting myself as much as possible but there are a few things I use so much that would be nice to just click and pull it out.

that is already possible. the resources inventory is already open so that you can put items with pipes/tubes in there.
I totally missed this one. Making it work as modems in a turtle (computercraft) would limit the space arround the thing, kind of defeating one of the advantages. But, should it connect, how to say this... daisy chained, one to the next, like the extra memory modules for redpower 2 computers, that would increase the required space but would still let the machines to be compactly installed (from the operator's point of view, even if the thing looks like a train from the side).
I have changed my approach to this issue. I will have another machine for automation purposes.
It will be more advanced than the BC's Autocrafting Table on the big scale. However, BC's Table will still be better on the low scale.
This mod was inspired by RP2's Project Table, but there's more added. This mod is dedicated to the crafting mechanics, so goes more in depth than Red Power.
The main distinction is still a work in progress, which I won't disclose yet.

This looks like it adds some nice features, I can't wait to see what's coming.
Changes:
I think 10 minutes wouldn't be too bad.

Already fixed that. Will be on the next release, and that will happen as soon as I'm done bug-hunting.
Also, I just realized I have to update the OP...

Will update the main thread when I get the time.
Hopefully, I'll so create a small video showing the new features.
I'll fill the media (images/video) in a bit.
