Luckily for you, I've decided last week to completely switch every single one of my mods to Forge. It may be more complicated than ModLoader, but when I get the hang of it, things should be much simpler for me, plus more people will be able to use my mods. Plus, all the classes are organized into packages in Forge.
DO YOU WANT TO HEAR THE BEST BUG EVER!!!!!!?????? YOUR MOD DELETED ALL OF MY WORLDS AND IT DIDNT EVEN WORK!!! IT DELETED ALL OF THEM!! NO ONE USE THIS MOD MAKER!!!!IT SUCKS!!!!

Did you remember that this mod has not updated to 1.5 yet? Also, I have not been able to duplicate this bug, and it's worked for other people before... so it is doubtful whether you are telling the truth. And even if it is, what were you doing downloading mods without backing everything up? Finally, look in your appdata folder, or wherever your .minecraft folder was; they might still be there.
Awesome mod. I saw a review on YouTube. Do you think maybe you could PLEASE update this to minecraft 1.5.1?No no no! You have to keep this modloader! I can't get this mod if it's forge! only modloader. :[

OK then, I will make a version compatible with ModLoader and a version compatible with Forge, now that I have less workload since my Renewable Resources Mod will be Forge-only. I'm planning to update my Renewable Resources mod today, and once I do that, I'll finally be able to continue working on this mod.
Sorry it's taking so long, the past few months have been especially busy. (This is what I get for taking 7 AP and IB classes in school...)
Finally updated to 1.5.1! I also managed to make a single version compatible with both ModLoader and Forge (although some features don't work on Forge). Here are the update notes:
v0.1.4
-Updated to 1.5.1.
--Also added support for animated textures for custom blocks.
-Added the ability to make custom blocks that are affected by gravity (like sand and gravel).
-Changed the way the recipe adder checks for duplicate recipes for maximum compatibility and fewer bugs.
--As a result, this mod is now compatible with Forge!
BUG: Because Forge is weird, custom fuels and custom blocks do not work if you are using Forge. However, custom recipes and custom furnace recipes still work on Forge.
My plans for the next version are to add the ability to make custom crops and panes and to make some custom block properties editable. I won't add plant blocks until I add some support for custom structures.
Looks great but i can't make a block. I did as you said to do but doesn't work. I'm just doing a vanilla texture Please Help!
What exactly isn't working? Are you not able to click the create block button, or does the block not appear on the block adder's main menu after you add it? Also, are you using Forge? Because the block adder doesn't work on Forge.

What isnt working is I can't click create a block. But I'll try it with modloader. Thanks for the help.

Well, in the block ID slot, make sure you input a number less than 256, and that the ID you input is not already used. If the ID is not valid, it does not let you create a block.
In Forge, you're actually able to create a block, but its textures don't work, and the blocks get deleted as soon as you reload the world.
Great mod, thanks. Perhaps im doing something incorrectly. However for example if i make a recipe, that turns 1 block of wool into 1 string and save it. Then when i use it at a normal crafting table, i put in 1 block of wool and get 1 string. However if i put in 2 blocks of wool, expecting 2 string, i get nothing. Maybe im doing something wrong? or, can we have it multiply the recipe as in vanilla crafting?
many thanks
Are you remembering to put the two wool blocks in the same stack? If you spread out the wool over multiple stacks (slots), it won't match the recipe. Like how when you want to make many wooden planks, you keep all the wood in one slot.

It doesn't appear in the creative menu yet; I'll change that once you can edit a block's properties. (The block adder isn't complete yet.) However, as mentioned in the OP, you can use the /give command, then make a custom recipe for it. If you forgot the block ID, then you should be able to find it out in the mod's .txt file.

Ok thanks for the help....again. And also I have two last questions, what maker will be next? And when will the update be?

After the block maker is finished (which is when I'll release v0.2), I will work on the item maker. There isn't really any set update date; I just work on it whenever I have time.

Ok cool item maker was the next one I wanted once the block maker was completed. Also when you make item maker be sure you make it so there's a button you can select to make it a food item or plantable item.

Oh, and just so you know, the "What I Plan to Add in the Full Version" section underneath the video contains everything I plan to add in the general order I will add them in.
Pie is delicious. That is all.

I can try that, but I'll have to find out exactly how Forge works first.
