I love the look of this mod so far! Can't wait for it to come out!
The idea of a dark dimension with as many features, if not more, than the overworld is a great idea! I love the music, i've been listening to it for hours and I'm glad your working on the aether now!
I hope the little golem thingy is done

Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
When people think of California they go 'Oh, the place that is always sunny and comfortably warm that has all the movie stars.'
The truth of the matter is California is freakin brutal. It has the highest air temperature recorded on planet Earth at 135 F (56.7 C). It's called Furnace Creekfor a reason.
Quite the opposite, the low temperature is able to get below -7 F (-21.6 C).
This is a good example of why you should never judge a place by the stereotype that the media displays to the world.
Is it really pretty much 1 kind of weather in the UK for the most part? Sounds boring to me
I like having snowy peaks, warm beaches, hot deserts, temperate savannah, humid pine/redwood forests and mountains, rocky coasts, volcanic national parks, golden hills, beautiful vallies, and everything in between.
I can't imagine living in such a static place. I can't think of anywhere else in the world I'd rather live than right here. I'd rather be homeless in my home of California than rich and living anywhere else in the world. I fully intend on dying here.
Edit: Still in need of people, Mr.Compost? I know I was supposed to sort that the other day lol
Ok, this is getting quite off the topic of the Betweenlands. :/
It doesn't really matter, making a conversation is a good think.. It gets More replies to the post and throws it to the top of the list meaning More people
You's should start up a nice convo on one of my threads.
Where I live it's blizzarding right now, right after all of the snow melted. The weather is insane all of the time, people from Florida and other places say that storms here are absolutely terrifying.
Everything is beautifully lush in the Summer, and only gets uncomfortable for around ten days. There are lakes literally everywhere. I live near a city that goes up the side of a huge hill, almost mountainous, that, if it weren't anchored in its place, would slide right into the massiveness of Lake Superior. A very impressive, pretty much unknown city. Everything looks awesome, especially near Lake Superior. Minnesota is not a boring place, but it does get really cold sometimes. It's like Skyrim with less mountains
And on topic, I used to have a coniferous swamp behind my house, before they tore it apart and filled it in for more housing (god dangit). It was the most enchanting place I've ever seen, and there were little clumps of squishy moss that you could hop around on, and it was absolutely silent.
What I'm asking from this, will there be many vast changes of terrain generation? The swamp type it is now is a murky bog type of thing, it would be cool if things brightened up a little bit more than the skins and leaving of Wights after the defeat of the Prime Wight. Maybe plants could start growing, like brighter green plants, and the light levels could increase a couple of notches? A nice, happy ending type feeling, minus the rainbows and cute birds.

One day I'll make a new texture pack. One day.
I'm an amateur texture designer, skinner, and over all graphic design artist. Learning the trade, I'm getting to be okay.

Ever read forum rules? Could actually get infractions for doing it just to let you guys know

There will be different biomes and some terrain changes, for example the caves. Some things will change after you defeat the Prime Wight, but to make the world grow plants would be really hard to code since you would have to make a new world or go to new chunks to let the plants generate. There is probably a way around this, but I'm sure it wouldn't be easy.
A note to those of you adding to the wiki - DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT add stuff just because it sounds cool! Only add things that are true and confirmed by a team member. Lore is also not appropriate in most cases, Thank you.
Why not? Doesn't the lore make the items and mobs have more depth? I mean, adding lore immerses the new ideas of new mobs and items into the regular storyline of The Betweenlands, so you feel like they fit into the mod and they're not just there to show that you add new features only.
As for the stuff adding just because it sounds cool. Without a reliable and constant source, I doubt the wiki editors know what to add. I mean, how do they know what the Skull Shaman does when it spots the player? The wiki editors don't have a beta of the mod with the new features, so they don't know how to make the pages. I guess they would impersonate based on limited knowledge, and how they look like based on the pictures.
Also, does it count if the wiki editors add descriptions of the mobs based on the looks and the pictures added?
I read on twitter that you said everyone who gives rep gets a ore release, is this true, reason I'm asking is before you had this deal that the more rep the page has the higher chance there is of you getting 1 or something like that
Im quite sure that MrCompost doesn't mind anyone talking about off-topic things since that will just makes his mod even More popular, however if he doesn't like it.. He would say so..
He said No. There will be no hints, no dates and no times. Just wait, be patient
I'm not saying that he doesn't mind it. I'm saying that you might get infractions for doing so as me and other people have got it before. I was just providing advice. I wasn't trying to provoke you or anything
Dang, while I didn't check, this mod updated a lot... I can't wait for it to be finished! It looks beautiful! Don't put in too much things though, since when 1.6 comes out(probably soon), there's going to be a lot of conflict and work to do...

I doubt it is going to come out soon after all there hasn't even been a snapshot for it.
so, do I add it in, or do I just leave it here in the forums?
Also, you didn't answer me about the lore adding into the various items and mobs, do I have your permission to do so, or do I have to wait for people like Dylan4ever to give me the lore? I'm asking that because I have a lot of ideas for lore of the various unique items that you can find here in The Betweenlands, and they are very related to the original story of The Betweenlands.
I answered that post not far after it, hope that answers some. If not, I can clarify further I guess if requested.

That is what the Prime Wight wants you to think.

Dinnerbone is working on the new launcher too, so that may make it take a little longer.
