Well, I went through all the trouble of making a forums account to be able to comment just for this thread and ask what is taking so long to update, then I saw the notice about it on the front page. I approved. It's great to know you have priority skills, and I agree that real life comes first.

But i started to fix the Fight Controls that were broken in 1.6. I need to talk to Lord TAK about a few changes to the dragons that i want to make. My plan for the Changes it to make Dragons more Horse like such that GUI, and health will be displayed like horses. Because of horses being added, there is now a set standard for what a ridable(armor-able, etc) mob should look like in minecraft, so i would like to adapt Dragons to fit that standard better so players will have less confusion when learning to use them. Also i am trying to find a way so that the L-Shift key will not dismount you in the air like it does on Horse. you still will be able to dismount in air but it will not be as easy so it cant happen on accident.

I have a few question. How would the magic update work? Would you say stuff in the chat? Or would you have a key bind. Would there be particle effects or an animation or ( if you say brisingr) a massive fireball. Would the Ancient Language Update ( magic update) allow you to wield the magic through your weaponry? I would really like to know for a mod review. Thanks!

Its all up to how optimized minecraft is, not the mod. Ive looked into ways to optimize it myself but nothing so far.
