This plugin is rewritten (twice :/ ) version of PTM (Phoenix Terrain Mod) world generator.
After R-T-B stop working on it i picked up bukkit version.
Now i am adding SMP version on it.
Features
Control horizontal and vertical noise of terrain generation
Control terrain height and volatility per biome
Ground chance per height
Land size
Biomes size
Custom biomes
Many options for caves, canyons
Enable/disable mineshafts, strongholds and villages
Full control of ores, flowers and etc.
Custom trees and another objects ( bo2 )
Block replacement
Old biome and terrain generator (Like 1.7.3 minecraft, but without old biomes)
How to install:
Just unpack all from zip to minecraft.jar and delete META-INF if it is not deleted.
How to use:
First - you can choose what type of world you will create in world creation GUI (Defaul,Flat,TerranControl)
This mod affect only worlds created with type TerrainControl.
After world created in world directory will be created default config files with all settings and comments.
Change what you want or replace from existing config and regenerate world ( delete region directory in world directory).
This has got to be the greatest mod of all time. Would it be possible to also modify world height? That would be out of this world! If you can't that's fine, this mod is great already :smile.gif: (but it would still make it so much awesomer . .)

Hmm i will add more checks for world height in next test version and you will may use height mod ( like fishtaco's Height Mod)
The Cubic Chunks Height Mod crew are watching too. :wink.gif: In fact, all of your +1's so far are from people in our thread. :smile.gif:
Hehe thanks :smile.gif:
Also thanks for your threads. That give me many helps :smile.gif:
About compatibility with cubic chunks, i have some ideas how make it, but this need tests with 3d perlin noise.
Ah and more time .. thats going hard to work with bukkit and SMP alone.
As i know you work with chunks like Mojang ( generate and when 4 near is generated, populate one ) only adding Y coordinate ?
Thank you for making this, I've been (along with many others) have been waiting for this since phoenix terrain mod died. I'm currently busy using the bukkit version to make a Skylands world and i look forward to using this in single player as well.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"why didn't i do that? because that would make sense."
Well, I've done some pretty cool editing to the terrain, if I do say so myself, adding Volcanoes and Enchanted Forests!
Information and pictures below. (Beware: I have a big screen and did not resize the screenshots!)
Here is an enchanted forest as seen from above.
And seen from the ground. As you can see, they generate mostly big trees, and have glowstone bits in the leaves. They look cooler at night, but I was in single player without a mod (or the patience) to change it. I made glowstone a small, yet common ore in leaves to do this.
And a volcano biome, from the side.
From the top, as well. As you can see, they generate lava with 1/4 the frquency of dirt, though in the same way otherwise, and generate netherrack at the same frequency as dirt. I also made fire generate like a very common plant on top of netherrack. The frequency of every ore is also doubled, to make this biome good to mine in, but dangerous at the same time, since there is lots of lava, and all water has also been replaced by this lava, so nothing to put yourself out in. They generate as islands in oceans, deserts, and mountains.
1question: how to make floating islands? mabe the author could share some codes with us? :wink.gif: please, i would relly appreciate!
Here is two variants - like old PTM - play with terrain settings ( FractureHorizontal, FractureVertical and etc)
And biome way - set ocean biome height to -5.0, this make ocean free space.

Alpha version ....
May i see crash log ?
No, it's nothing wrong with the mod, it's that I tried blowing up a biome that had its grass and topsoil replaced with TNT. :U
There's yet more to come!
hahahha that's epic!
Or it would have been, if I had been able to see it.
