After the nether people attacked, the entire guild was pretty much destroyed by fire. I talked to the guild master to fix it and had the 64 wood. He took the wood and then my client instantly crashed. When i restarted minecraft, the guild was fixed my honor level was in the same place, but all of my money was gone. Is this normal anyone else been experiencing these problems? It was a little frustrating. Other than that the mod is amazing and I have been shitting bricks continuously. I even decided to make YouTube videos about it.
The path to kingship is supposed to be hard, I don't believe giving the guildmaster stacks of wood gives any kingship. Getting money for three soldiers is good but I believe you get kingship for only the monsters you kill (not sure). If you want the quick way, search the map and find some burning villages and take the villagers back to the guild. If you are up to it, attack reficule outposts and that will shoot you up to kingship. There is also another quest thing where the guild gets attacked by reficules, you get quite a lot for that. (Just be sure to put all of your stuff in a chest before and take some water buckets with you:)
If I have missed some just post them below, I'll try and accumulate the grievances to send to the modder for after finals.
Thanks, it just seems like I should have moved on since I have everything I need from the shop with all the money I've gotten: around thirty to forty thousand coins. So with the outposts, I've only found one because there's a huge swamp surronding the guild and an adjacent plain, what do I do with that hole in the middle. I jumped down earlier because I thought I saw water at the bottom, but that was a mistake. Do I just leave it?
Sorry TyberAlyx if this has been asked before (I cannot find it here on this thread or goggling it,) but is there any way to NOT start the main quest when you start a new map (i.e. choose the cancel option instead of the start button that pops up,) muck around in the world for a while and then choose to start the quest. Something like a quick-key or something I am missing?
Why is it that whenever i kill a mob and get coins, it goes into my inventory (as a stack) and when I sell something it goes to my gold count on top of my inventory? Is this supposed to happen?
about how big does it make your area to upgrade to tier 3? I have a millenaire village thats w/in about 20 blocks of the tier 2 version not sure if it would interfere with that villiage
for some reason when i start minecraft [With mod loader and the mod] everything works perfectly but when i install TMI the guild master, the house keeper, the city builder, and a few other people all disappear but soon after i uninstall TMI then everything goes back to normal. Can you please tell me whats wrong?

Create a map (That you don't want to play in) and start a guild. Then just bury taht save file and forget about it. When you start a map after that, it'll ask if you wanna move your guild and stuff over to the new map or not, just hit no :]

Tier 3 is huge. It's about 130 blocks wide in either direction I believe. I could measure for you, if you -really- want...

Not really sure what you mean by this... I did the above but how does that help me? I want to:
1. Create a map.
2. Play the map WITHOUT starting the tales quest yet.
3. Find a nice place for the guild (and future kingdom.)
4. Create the guild on the map.
Is this possible? I have not found anyway to do this. It is the issue of having to start the quest right off the bat, and not having the ability to start it later on that I am having problems with.
Nah you don't have to do that ^.^ That pretty much answers it
:] My biggest issue was finding an area that didn't have the reficul holes. I didn't want a giant tunnel/portal to hell built under my kingdom >.<
I had to just explore a lot after setting the reficul spawn rate to like 5 million haha.

OH! I see what you mean! The instructions I gave were to have a map with no guild whatsoever.
As of right now, it's not possible to start a map and have a guild be placed when/where you wish. You either have no guild at all or it appears directly behind you right away.
To be honest, I would suggest just making a map and having the guild spawn right away, then start your contract immediately but -don't focus on your quest- This way, when you DO start to focus on the quest, you already have a head-start from whatever mobs you've killed so far, even if that wasn't your main goal up until that point.
Another way to do something similar...
Do the instructions I gave in the last post, and just start creating maps. Explore a little, and when you find one you like, download Single Player Commands and type in "World seed" and it'll show you the seed number for your world. Write that down, and delete any maps you made while searching for a nice one. Delete the one with the guild, then create a new map (using the seed number) and start your quest. That way you can at least find a map you like :]
This is kinda-sorta a wall of text, if you want it better explained I can PM you or something if needed :biggrin.gif:
I've looked and i can only conclude that the problem is this mod, i have mod loader, and without this mod in my mod folder, minecraft is just fine
its the only mod i have, but when i put it in, minecraft just freezes on the mojang screen, and closes after about 5 seconds. Its similar to the problems other people are having, but there is no error message, if you can help me, great! if not, i understand
edit: Never mind, it just started working for some reason.
oh well, looks awesome XD
I'm Having troubles with The shop. Every time I enter the Shop, The game Constantly lags and I have no way to leave Because, even though the button highlights in blue, I cannot make the option to leave, Buy or sell work.
I also Have no Config file for this mod in My config file. If that's a problem.
Anything that might help would be good.
OK I have the latest mod loader in my minecraft.bin and my tale of kingdoms in my mods folder The only thing I didint do is winwar or 7zip because I dont have them so do i press a certain button to do it or what im counfused.

You MUST use WinRAR or 7zip.
In your /bin folder you need to open your minecraft.jar with one of those programs and add the files from modloader.
If not it won't work.

The config file is a file called Kingdommod.props (or something like that) which resides in your minecraft directory. Right click it, go Open With, and click Notepad. Then you can edit a few things, including turning on/off "Shop Lag Fix" which might help you.
I went mining with a worker and now he doesn't want to leave. Which is fine by me since I would most likely go down their to afk anyways. Things is I wish you could just plop down a chest and all the cobble he mines will just go in their. That way you can go and do other things or dig deeper into the caves yourself. Until something like that is implemented then having your workers mine and going through the trouble of getting them down into the ground. Well, it rly isn't worth it. They are much useful as woodcutters then miners. I was wondering if the path to kingship will take longer then how it is now cause its way to easy.
Also for those who may not know. If you install the spawner gui from risugumi then you can spawn all the npcs from this mod. I had lost my builder in a ravine so I just spawned like three of them with the spawner gui and finally started my kingdom. Please try using search or looking back through at least two of the most recent pages. This has been answered more than enough times alrready.
