Dude please update to 1.6.4 i love this mod and i just don't know how to mod 1.2.5 with the new launcher so unless you can tell me how to mod 1.2.5 on the new launcher please please please update the mod to 1.6.4

Congrats on being the most morron I've ever seen on a forum, read the damn first post, this mod is dead, there's one that works nicely and is nearly the same called Archimed's ships http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1857899-164-152forge-archimedes-ships-v14-passenger-seats/

I need to ask a few questions, 1. what is the maxinum amount of blocks can you do? I have some BIG warships like HMS Sovereign of the Seas and I want to sail it ( I hope its over 6,500, I don't know how many blocks it has) 2. are you working on this mod right now? and heres a pic of my most recent warship:

This mod should be in a graveyard and locked, so no new posts should be possible, its dead since over a year, if you want something that works with the current version of Minecraft right now, there's Archimed's Ship mod...

NO!!! Archemedes ship mod sucks, its not realistic, you cant walk on the ship when in motion, there is no cannons, and there is a very small amount of blocks u can use. this ships and boats mod, you can walk on, has cannons, and has a bigger amount of blocks you can use.

By the way you speak, I would say you're under 15 yrs old...

You realize that with the change from SSP world in MC prior to MC1.3 to SMP world (single player runs a server in the background now since MC1.3 series) that it is probably possible to do it, but extremely hard to program, maybe impossible, but you never know. That is mainly why the mod author of Ships and Boats stopped working on it, too hard to do, and also Real Life problems requiring him to retire from developping this awesome mod, we can totally understand this, except people like you I suppose, I'm gonna bet you didn't even read the OP of this thread, go read it first completely before asking for an update...

Cuchaz, looks very promizing mod there, but I'll wait for 1.7.X support, which may take us over Christmas break before we have a stable Forge release for it... Wish there was a way to subscribe to a topic and only get a email notification once there's a release for a given Minecraft version, I can't subscribe since I know a lot of kiddos will ask when will it happens and I can't be bothered to read them all, just want a single notification when its released, not pressuring here, take the time you need for it, we can wait...

well that's why SirEntropy wants someone to pic up the torch and run with it, meaning he wants someone else to take this mod off of his hands or help him with coding, modeling and other crap like that.

and yes, i'm 14 and a ship master. I just built this in one day.... and I want to drive it. that's why im waiting for someone to take the leadoff this mod.

and I tried them, but this ship is bigger than it seems, has 44 guns, has 4 sails on each mast, and I used most of my day to build it from the ground up. ill try zeppelin mod to see how many blocks there are

Yup, like I said, its dead, won't ever revive, the closest thing you can find at the moment is a new one I've just found out :

but maby, one day someone will bring this mod back, like mcsowns2 brought back the "John Mod"

I really doubt it, many have tried as there's many mods that want to replicate it, but the way Minecraft moved to a virtual server even in single player makes it a lot harder to have something similar than this mod that was created before single player was merged to a virtual server that runs in the background while you play...

I have no fight going on here. just giving the facts and help you find alternatives, if I find anything better, I'll post it on this thread to help you and maybe some others that will take the time to read the last posts of a thread before asking for an updated version...
