id like to see a player craftable bot similar to the watcher, maybe use dead pieces from the watcher? and it is just a tall tower that does not move and guards an area, with 3 modes indicated by a colored light on the side of the tower that represents it's mode.
Mode 1: Off, right click with empty hand, turns the tower off so it does nothing ( can still be attacked by hostile mobs!) light color is black or gray
Mode 2: protection mode , right click with redstone, attacks any neutral or hostile mobs nearby, prioritizes hostile mobs before neutral mobs. light color is green
Mode 3: frenzy mode , right click with TNT , the tower turns off for 30 seconds, then turns itself back on and will attack anything that moves, including: the player, tamed wolves, other robots created by the player, the weapon speed also doubles and HP is increased. light color is red. ( by the way the 30 second off mode is so the player can escape! this mode is essentially just a stronger watcher, but it can still be triggered into a different mode to become un frenzied. using blinders for the tower made from blocks you could use this to automatically destroy any robots who stray too far from their beacons >:biggrin.gif: or to recreate D-Day! yay! )

I'd say just make the watcher it has right now tameable with a chip or something.
Id use this mod if i could,But sadly it edits Class files from the MC jar and i have mods already useing those for importent effects and such,Guess ill have to wait til the mod no longer edits MC class files,Overall this mod is great from what iv seen and red,Keep up the great work,An idea for a future mob,A miner robot that can be programmed to find certain ores(EXAMPLE: give it a piece of coal or diamond and it will head to any within a certain raidus of were it is.)

my worker bot already does that.. or well only works with iron ore since you can hold the block version, ill fix that later.. also the modloader version i posted shouldn't modify any mc classes, try that instead!
The Sliders are there, though... actually, with there being no grass, there's no animals at all.. just Sliders. everywhere. It's like post-robot-takeover-apocalypticCraft.

maybe just re do everything.
If you are getting a normal version make sure you have a vanilla minecraft.jar.
If you are getting a modloader version make sure you have modloader and modloaderMP installed.

Dont mix the two.
Just tried it once more. Re-downloaded Minecraft, copied the non-Modloader clientside file contents into the .jar, deleted META-INF, started a new world.. exact same results.
Seriously no idea... LOL. Considering how seriously by-the-book this process is I'm shocked no one else's had this problem. Mod looks sweet, though, and uh, the Sliders and I are getting well-acquainted!..

OH SNAP, MY BAD, when i uploaded the moddified normal version i forgot i left some biome world generation stuff in there... thus cobblestone world, crap, ill try to post the fix as soon as i can :ohmy.gif: got alot of unstable stuff all at once so might be a while, until then use the modloader version ^^;

can you make slider spawns according to light level? its sort of annoying to have it just spawns in my house.
also, what does the gs.class modify? cuz it somehow conflict with phoenix terrain mod.

I'd say just make the watcher it has right now tameable with a chip or something.
Alternately, only make them spawn on grass OR in darkness.
That'd solve the problem of Sliders spawning inside houses.

hahaha I was bounced out of the house while crafting.
No other mods downloaded... I added it to a fresh Minecraft.jar .. don't see any complaints with the same problem.
