Hello I would like to start working on some mods for minecraft 1.0. I have mcp with modloader installed in it. I just don't know what to do. It seems as though modloader has changed the way you write mods. I used to follow along with YouTube vids but the person I was watching stopped posting. I can not find any videos that use minecraft 1.0 and modloader. If anyone can give me direct help or give me a link to a website that would be great.

well not too much has changed from the turorials of 1.8 except the format now looks like this
package net.minecraft.src;
import java.util.Random;
public class mod_YourModNameHere extents BaseMod
{
public void load()
{
modloader.whatever
}
public String getVersion()
{
return "your mod version";
}
}
and a person i would recomend that you check out when starting modding is henrythecoder ... he has a webside and instead of using the modloader template he uses just use this one and everything should be placed in their corresponding places
also i would recomend that you get and use eclipse.. there is many tutorials on youtube on how to get and instal to work with mcp
if this helped please press the green + button to the right
