I'm just asking do 1.6.2 mods work for 1.6.4? Whenever I run the game with Shoulder Surfing and Animated player mods installed the game always crashes and yes I'm using forge 1.6.4 .

No you must use the new 1.6.4 version of the mods, sorry :/

None of the 1.6.2 mods work with 1.6.4. I know, it sucks, but we have to wait for updates.

well im testing matmos mod and presence footsteps mod for 1.6.2 and checking if it works with 1.6.4, lets hope

i hope it works cause i want animated player mod but it isnt 1.6.4 yes

It's hit or miss. Some of them work fine, but others don't work at all and cause a black screen crash.

It depends on if the modder coded something to support it. So, some will, some won't. Anything that modifies structures (like Villages) won't.

Some do, most don't.

Some mods will work. Some won't. It really depends on what resources the mod uses.

Actually, quite a few 1.6.2 mods seem to work on 1.6.4, such as ComputerCraft and BiblioCraft.

1.6.2 forge mods will work in 1.6.4 on a few conditions.
1) They are reobfuscated with srg_names.
2) The mod does NOT have world gen structures.

Backpacks mod 1.6.2 works on forge 1.6.4.
