Hey I am currently using Ubuntu 10.10 as my OS (lucid linux) and am wanting to install buildcraft 2.2.2 (all components) but am unsure how to do this and am unable to find a tutorial anywhere (all help seems to be windows orientated.)
Can someone please help me.
I am running the 1.8.1 minecraft vanilla at the moment so there will be no other mods to interfere with installing buildcraft.
Ok I've found out i need Modloader and ModloaderMP, just hoping they'll work on linux...
must remember to back up my bin so i dont have to redownload the bin every time I want to reset to vanilla
Modloader will not work. It should work for linux, but even extracting the files, combinin them and compressing them into the minecraft.jar with modloader and modloaderMP .class files added I still get a freeze during the screen with the Mojang logo
Can someone please help me.
