Is it possible for you to create a mod that turns someone into a robot with the following attributes?
-Takes lava level damage from water
-slight bonus to health, or slight armor bonus (not both)
-Can only sprint for ~15 or so seconds before having to stop (overheating, preferably with matching animations)
-the ability to tie a robot to a remote, and give them an on/off switch (I wouldn't mind if they started out tied to a remote either).
-Loses hunger 1/2 as fast.
-Maybe add a special type of helmet (Maybe reconfiguring the pumpkin?)
-Done through forge.
I sincerely hope this isn't too much, and if it is then, I suppose you shouldn't do it.

The above may be difficult due to the technicalities, but I think it may be useful. I wouldnt really put it as high priority however, as it isnt really neccicary at all.
The above is a really great idea, and I think would make villagers much more interesting. Stuck in a box? "Get me out of here!". Zombie? "AAaaah, zombie, help help!". See another villager "Hello there, *name*". The names would be assigned to villagers and the villagers would speak accordingly.
The above should be really easy to make, and solves an issue that recently has arisen since many mods have made their auto crafting tables too simple. I cannot imagine it would be too difficult.
It's a pretty cool idea. A simple underground village would somewhat suck though, I'd be disappointed if somebody basically copied/pasted stuff. I'd want it to be much more interesting then normal villages.
Anyhow, I think I gave you a nice range of mods to look at, I hope these help you decide apon a good one.

As for the automatic movements, this would be somewhat easy, people have done similar things before. And even if not in a mod, you could make a tool to do it.
For spiders, you could just disable the spawning of current spiders and make your own spawn. Also, look up "how to make a coremod". There are no more coremods, but for the most part the old code still works.

Hi, I was wondering if you or someone you know would make a mod that would add a couple of things. I really enjoy op mod packs like BigDig and would like a mod that would make it a little faster to progress. I was thinking of a an engine that could produce a large quantity of power for free/dirt cheap. Maybe have it require water and produce around 3 MJ/tick or the equivalent? The other thing I would want would be some simple boots that would take 2 leather and 2 enderpearls; the boots would double walking and running speed and maybe give the ability to jump fences. An engine I would love to have would be a "bio-diesel" engine that would run on carrots (like the DartCraft engines) and produce 8 MJ/tick or the equivalent. I wouldn't think this would be too difficult. The engines could use the Universal Electricity Api maybe? This would be just for me for jump starting my op factories in single player. They wouldn't have to be fancy either. The boots could be blue leather boots, the jump-start engine could look like the redstone engine only with blue accents and the bio-diesel could look like the clockwork engine only blue. (Yes, blue is my favorite color.) I'm not sure as to recipes for the engines but could come up with something quickly if you're willing to do this for me. What do you think?

so you can't do mods that change the way mobs act/react? Its okay if you can't do it, but when you can, let me know! Oh you know what, you can just make new spiders! Instead of editing the spiders you can make three new ones, the regular, the cave, and the queen. The regular and the cave ones will be exactly like the originals but spawn in the nests. And the queen will just be a really big spider that only spawns in the given areas
that would be too much work. I will just tell you when I learn how to edit behaviors.

You should make a Sonic allstars tranformed mod based of the game. It would include character amour, racetrack item, and transformation checkpoints. I suggest getting game first though.

I was thinking about some mod ideas, and I recently had several ideas, none of whitch are too hard to code, and are pretty unique
1. MetalMancy: I had an idea that possibly you could make a sort of consumables system involving using metals to get beacon-like powers that stay with you, maybe some new alloys for unused effects, or smp ways to "curse" your enemies, giving them slowness or weakness at the continuous cost of metals.
2. Pech Villages: Azanor is a great modder, and using his API would it be possible to make a type of village for pech, whitch could have a magic type dungeon thingy in it? maybe it could also have some new research types that

3. Nether invasion:
This idea was that you could perform a certain sacrifice, perhaps getting 10 diamonds, gold, iron, ect, but summoning the forces of the nether or the end to your bedspawn or current location, maybe increased strength mobs that apply potion affects to their allies?
4. Softcore hardcore:
Everyone hates dying in a hardcore world they spent a load of time on right?
Well I was thinking of a way to make a set life limit for a world, maybe having 5 or 10 lives a world, with the same difficulty of hardcore, but minimizing the chance of your amazing castle going poof due to one rubberbanding creeper
5. Firework cannon:
A usage for fireworks, maybe making a AoE damage type projectile?
Anyway, I could help out with the mod, hope you like my ideas!

I am not a coder or texture maker. I am just your average minecrafter with my own ideas on how to improve my own minecraft experience and maybe others (if they like them) as well.

I have a new Idea and it's a lot simpler. It's called "Safari Gun". What it is, is a gun that shoots tranquilizer darts so you can shoot mobs with it to knock them out then you can right click on the mob to pick them up like you can do with Dr. Zarks Mo creatures. The purpose is to make it easier to catch cows and pigs and such so you can start your farm. The only way to do it now is to use the appropriate food item to lure them back to your farm which can be a hassle.
