I'm proud to release PokeMarts v2. First things first i'm not the original creator of the mod it was made by ChunkBin but it was more of a beta mod but with a lot of potential so i decided to expand on that potential and try to make it more like the actual pokemon games.
***Info***
This mod adds PokeMoney gained from battling wild pokemon and trainers and a PokeMart similiar to Pixelmons PokeCenters but the main function in the PokeMart is the "Merchant Block" on the counter that looks like quartz stairs, when right-clicked this "Merchant Block" opens a shop with the option to Buy and Sell nearly every item from Pixelmon, when the Buy or Sell buttons are clicked they give an option to choose the "Category" of items to Buy or Sell you can then scroll through all the items in that category. I tried to make it as customizable as possible with a Config file, so every "Category" can be enabled/disabled in the Config file, and every single items price to Buy or Sell can be set in the Config file and any individual item can be disabled by setting it's price to 0. The Config file has an explanation in it for nearly everything you can set. This mod also adds 10 new grass blocks (more will be added in an addon later) that all look and function the same, when walked through they have a chance to spawn a random pokemon from a list of 10 per block, the chance for a pokemon to spawn can be set the chance for them to be shiny and/or boss can be set, the level range for each pokemon can also be set. Their is also an option to change the level of pokemon that spawn, if used they will spawn at lower levels near the world spawn and higher levels the farther away you get, you can also set the distance and level ranges in the config file. You can now also set what stages of evolution pokemon you want to spawn at the set distances.
***Features***
1.Money earned from battles.--Server Compatible
2.A shop with over 200 items from pixelmon to sell and buy.--Server Compatible
3.Pokemon spawning in grass like pokemon games.--**Bugged Will Be Fixed, Read Bugs**
4.Pokemon spawning at levels based on distance from world spawn.--Server Compatible
5.Set what stage of evolution pokemon to spawn at the set distances.--Server Compatible
6.Sent a chat message if theirs an update.
7.A HUGE Config file with options to customize nearly everything!
Some things may still be buggy, please post any found bugs so i can try to fix them.
***BUGS***
1.
Theirs a small bug with newly created worlds. If you create a new world and defeat a pokemon you will gain money two or even three times from the battle, the SOLUTION is when you create a new world save and quit the world and close and restart minecraft, then you should no longer get extra earnings. Honestly i'm not sure why this happens or how to fix it but as it only seems to happen with new worlds and the fix is pretty simple i don't see it as to much of a problem.
As with any mod their may be undiscovered bugs, please report any found bugs here and state what they do, if they occur once, occasionaly, or can be duplicated easily.
2.
Not really a bug but it will cause a crash, if you use the new grass blocks to spawn pokemon make sure in the config file all the pokemon names are lowercase and spelled correctly, also DO NOT leave any name slots blank it will cause a crash, you can use names multiple times per block to fill the blank slots and increase the chance of that pokemon spawning.
3.
Grass Blocks are a bit bugged still, they don't work at all in servers, and in single player they sometimes cause multiple spawns if standing still, i will be rewriting them soon to make them server compatible and bug free
4.
The option to spawn certain stage evolution pokemon is still a bit buggy, one big bug is for some very odd reason it glitches boats and makes them bug all over the place when ridden, i will be trying to fix this soon but if you use boats a lot you can disable this option in the pixelmon config
***Future Update***
1.
I want to make a "Game Corner" and add it to the shop, it would have multiple different "games" where you can spend your "PokeMoney" and win items or money or lose. This just like everything else would be able to be enabled/disabled in the config file along with setting the cost to play and most likely the items recieved. I would like some feedback as to what people think about this, along with any other ideas.

***HELP FOR CRASHES***
1st Make sure you "installed" it correctly! This isn't a normal mod where you can just drop the .zip in it needs to be "installed"
2nd If you've edited anything in the Config file like the pokemon to spawn from grass blocks make sure you spelled the names correctly, that you left no blank slots for any grass blocks you use, and that the pokemon is in-game.
3rd Make sure your using Pixelmon 3.0.3 and Forge 9.11.1.965
4th If the first 3 didn't help you post your error here.
For Error ---java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/ReflectiveOperationException
Try Updating your java to the latest version and make sure your "PATH" environmental variable is set to the latest java, this is simple to do just google it, this is good for minecraft anyways you should always have the latest java and make sure your path is set to it.
For Error ---java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: packets/tmp/MerchantBlock
This is because you deleted the original mod files, read the installation instructions carefully, no original files should be deleted, only overwritten.
Finally some pictures.
***Pictures***
Let's start with getting some money =p
You start with $3000 this can be changed in the config file
You earn money based on the defeated pokemon's level, i tried to make this as close to the pokemon games as i could.
Now onto the mart
Right-click the register to choose to buy or sell
Then you choose the "Category" of items to buy or sell.
Then you can choose the item
Finally here are the download links below. Please use the Adf.ly link first especially if you like the mod it would be appreciated =)
***IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS***
Do not put this .zip into the "mods" folder it needs to be "installed".
1.Open the "Original" PokeMarts .zip and the PokeMarts V2 Beta .zip
2.Drag the "packets" and "assets" folder's from the PokeMarts V2 Beta .zip onto the "Original" PokeMarts .zip
3.You can now close the "Original" PokeMarts .zip now, if you dont want the New Pokemon Spawning Option you are done now. If you do want the new spawn option continue to step 4.
4.Now open the Pixelmon 3.0.3 .zip file and drag the "pixelmon" folder from the PokeMarts V2 Beta into the Pixelmon 3.0.3 .zip.
5.You are now done!
Finally a working version, nice to see someone took control. one question though... or there no pokecenters in your version? all i can find are pokemarts. everything works great though.
Pokecenters still spawn fine for me, i haven't edited any of the Pixelmon files so theirs no reason they shouldn't work, try the /struc command and see if it spawns one.
@Count-Chuckula
I will put in an option in the config to disable money earned from both trainers and/or pokemon in the next update the next update will be out after i finish what im working on at the moment, read below
**Next Update**
currently im working on making pokemon spawn randomly when walking through new grass blocks i made, and you will be able to set the pokemon that can spawn for each block up to 10 pokemon per block and the chance to spawn, so far i've made a new grass block that will spawn a pokemon when walked through, i just have to fix the code a little and add in the Config stuff so you can choose the pokemon to spawn the level of the pokemon the chance for each pokemon to spawn, and the chance for a shiny or boss pokemon to spawn and then i have to test it a bit.
This is awsome didnt know you moved the forum page to here glad to see the progress the one problem i had with the Pixelmon experience on MC, was that from the very start, you could find pokemon of ALL levels regardless of where you start(biome/closeness to spawn point) i would really like to form a way for mobs to get progressively harder as you adventure farther from spawn. but currently i have no clue how to go about this, ive tried many things But great progress on this mod
Yea i want to try to work on that soon, i think i found the pixelmon file that controls the pokemon spawn level unfortunately its a decent sized file and not all of it got deobfuscated, so ill have to go through it later and see if i can get it error free, then i can attempt to change it so it will set the pokemon level randomly based on how far it is from the world spawn.
***EDIT***
Luckily i just decided to try to deobfuscate pixelmon again with Bearded Octo Nemesis and it seems this time it deobed a bit more of it, honestly im not sure why it deobed more this time but i dont really care lol =p it seems like it got everything in the file that controls pokemon spawning level, so i will check this out now
**GOOD NEWS**
I was able to get the file error free and test changing the pokemon that spawns level, i just set it to 50 to test it and all pokemon that spawned were level 50 =D now i have to figure out how to get the original map spawn location coordinates and the pokemons spawn coordinates, which i dont think will be to hard but figuring out how to get the correct approximate distance from the spawn and setting the level based on that will be difficult since their are 3 coordinates, x, y and z and i have to take all 3 of these into account but hopefully it wont be to hard ill post back soon
You just put the .zip in your mods folder. It needs to be opened and the "packets" folder copied into the "original" pokemarts mod.
Also the reason i haven't simply uploaded the whole file and the original mod is still necessary is because i haven't been able to contact the original mod creator and i know some people might not like it that i just pretty much took over the mod, so i want to give him as much credit and support as possible seeing as how this mod wouldnt be possible without him making the original.

this is the crash message I get, I only replaced the "packets" folder in the main "pokemart" folder. Is there something I should try?
EDIT: using the latest v2 beta, since I'm on MAC I only get the already unarchived folder.
Did you delete the "packets" folder form the original? If so you shouldn't have, the error you posted is saying their the class file "MerchantBlock" is missing which means either it was deleted since the packets folder was deleted or your download of the original pokemarts was corrupted, check your original pokemarts file or redownload it and open it and check the packets folder in it, in their should be a tmp folder and in that should be the MerchantBlock.class, once youve confirmed that that file is their then you know the download wasnt corrupted and you can copy the files in the packets folder in the PokeMartV2 zip into the packets folder in the original and you shouldnt have any problems
***Next Update***
The next update will be out hopefully tommorow maybe even later tonight, it will have 2 changes listed below.
Changes
1. Pokemon Spawning Randomly From New Grass Blocks Like Pokemon Games
------I've created a new grass block that when walked through theirs a chance a random pokemon will spawn and engage you in battle if you have atleast one "alive" pokemon just like in pokemon games, You can set up to 10 different pokemon per block to spawn and the level range for each pokemon, also the chances to be a shiny pokemon or boss pokemon, I will be duplicating this block and making 9 more so their will be 10 initial blocks all with their own settings, however i will also later be releasing up to 100 more blocks as an optional add-on file, i will put it in "packs" With 10 packs of 10 blocks, 2 Packs of 50 Blocks, and 1 Pack of 100 blocks, so you can choose the amount of blocks you want incase you dont want all 100.
2. Pokemon Spawning At Levels Based On Distance From World Spawn
-----This was a request from MinerLouizer1112 put simply he wanted me to make it so pokemon will spawn at lower levels near the world spawn and higher levels farther away, thankfully i was able to deobfuscate the file that controls pokemon spawning and get it error free, i will put an option in Pixelmons Config file to turn this spawning on/off so you can choose between the original spawning or this.

@Semtex--Try updating to Forge 9.11.1.965, thats what the mod was made with. Aside from that i really have no clue, the error doesn't say anything specific that i recognize.
No problem at all it was a good idea it makes playing worlds more fun and more challenging to get high level pokemon, it's pretty much completely done already, i just have to test it a bit, i set 10 different "ranges" for the distance from spawn, starting with 0-100 then 101-200 up to 901-1000, and set a level range accordingly starting with level 5-10 for 0-100 blocks away up to level 25-99 for over 900 blocks away however both the "ranges" for levels to spawn and distance from spawn can be set in pixelmons config file now along with an option to completely disable this new spawning. The next update should be out tommorow, i just have to test this a bit and test my grass block a bit, then make a couple copies of the grass block and i'm done for this update.
Is there a way to change the block id of the "Merchant Block"? I looked in the config but didn't see an option for it. Its conflicting with another mod I have and I cant change the ids of that one with out messing up pieces of my world.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 179 is already occupied by packets.tmp.MerchantBlock@6f339aae when adding mods.nandonalt.coralmod.common.BlockCoral2@24f04e8b
Yes just redownload the mod, i updated it the block is is now 479, unfortunately i couldnt get it to load the id from the Config file, it would always crash, i will try a few things tommorow to see if i can get it to work.
***Newest Update Is Out***
The next update is here! Their is now an option to make pokemon spawn at a level based on the distance from the world spawn the level range and distance range can be set in the config file, their are also 10 new grass blocks (more will be added in an addon later on) when walked through these grass blocks have a chance to spawn a random pokemon from a set of 10 pokemon per block, the pokemon and level ranges for each pokemon can be set in the Config file, along with the chance for the pokemon spawning to be a shiny or boss pokemon
hmm i have a suggestion, not sure if it woudl work or not. What about making the 10 or so grasses spawn naturaly in the wild, in different biomes, that way we could config it so that in a forrest biome, Bug types spawn, or in Ice Plains, ice/water pokemon spawn, and so forth.

Dunno if you realized this and I hope you didn't change it just for little old me, but if 479 is going to be the new id for the merchant block the original poke-mart schematic file would need to have its block changed as well
When I go into a poke-mart there is a big chunk of coral reef where the merchant block should be
btw, i have one other thing to ask is there a way you can add an option to make higher evolutions not spawn in certain distances? like when i set 0-300 away from spawn to be lvl 3-10, i see like lvl 5 Seakings and lvl9 Flygons :/ which is quite a problem imo
Ahh. I redownloaded the packets folder from the original Pokemarts and saw that you were right. I did in fact delete it and replaced it with your v2 folder, deep.. So i just copied the 8 files from v2 into the original folder. Now this is what I get.

I noticed when I used this mod and went into a PokeMart, There was no cash register. So I decided to look into the older version and run it with Pixelmon 3.0.2, and it crashed (which I knew was going to happen) and then removed the old version and then got this version. When I played on the world that I generated with the old mod (Poke Marts by ChunkBin) and I got this error:
2014-03-23 17:19:43 [SEVERE] [fml.ItemTracker] FML has detected item discrepancies
2014-03-23 17:19:43 [SEVERE] [fml.ItemTracker] Missing items : {179=Item 179, Type packets.tmp.MerchantBlock, owned by pokemart, ordinal 0, name Merchant Block, claimedModId null}
2014-03-23 17:19:43 [SEVERE] [fml.ItemTracker] Mismatched items : {}
This is for Missing Items/mismatched IDs but there aren't any IDs listed for the new "Merchant block"
I'm not sure if you forgot whether or not to replace the item IDs in the schematics or not or you possibly either forgot the block in the mod. I really like this mod because of the shop but I cannot use this mod because the block that I got it for isn't there.
***Info***
***BUGS***
I want to make a "Game Corner" and add it to the shop, it would have multiple different "games" where you can spend your "PokeMoney" and win items or money or lose. This just like everything else would be able to be enabled/disabled in the config file along with setting the cost to play and most likely the items recieved. I would like some feedback as to what people think about this, along with any other ideas.
***Changelog***
V2.0.4--Changed update notification
V2.0.3--Updated to Pixelmon 3.0.3
V2.0.2--Option to disable spawning certain stage evolution pokemon
V2.0.1--Minor bug fixes
V2.0.0--Update notifications, Changelog started, minor bug fixes.
***Progress On Next Update***
Not started yet.

TheCountChuckula's Mods on CurseForge
Pokecenters still spawn fine for me, i haven't edited any of the Pixelmon files so theirs no reason they shouldn't work, try the /struc command and see if it spawns one.
@Count-Chuckula

// I'm sorry, Dave.

***EDIT***
New update should be out in a couple hours =D
Dunno if you realized this and I hope you didn't change it just for little old me, but if 479 is going to be the new id for the merchant block the original poke-mart schematic file would need to have its block changed as well
When I go into a poke-mart there is a big chunk of coral reef where the merchant block should be

This is for Missing Items/mismatched IDs but there aren't any IDs listed for the new "Merchant block"
I'm not sure if you forgot whether or not to replace the item IDs in the schematics or not or you possibly either forgot the block in the mod. I really like this mod because of the shop but I cannot use this mod because the block that I got it for isn't there.
Thank you,
Nerokin
