Thank you so much for reporting this! Turns out that some Windows versions use another format for zips than other versions and systems, and wasn't being recognized by the creator. Fixed now, try again

I really have no idea what's going on with this forum because I've been away for like, 1 or 2 years...

What are the chances of getting this working from the /mods folder in a Forge 1.6.4 installation? I see work has progressed on a 1.7.x version so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
If I try manually installing it, rendering is glitchy
True. Under MCPatcher 4.3.1 this mods glitches the rendering. Unfortunately ZoomMod isn't usable under 1.6.4 with MCPatcher 4.3.1 and Forge 9.11.1.953.
We are still lacking a zoom mod for 1.6.4

I was trying to think of a signature and this is what came up.

Awesome, I just found this mod. I prefer to play with FoV set fairly wide, so it really helps me to be able to zoom in on things far away. Thanks for making this!
Added forge version for 1.6.4(zip to /mods)
Warning: this version - experimental
Done
Awesome! For what I can tell this runs flawlessly - it was the only real feature I still used OptiFine for (I stopped gaining FPS on it back in 1.4.7). Thank you very much!
hm.. i can't upload zip file
