I have an advanced Tallow Golem with 2 Water Upgrade and the Googles Accessories, and still, the golems can only see this far: http://i.imgur.com/skGvm4y.jpg
What am I doing wrong?
Harvest golems don't have to be on chest, Put each one halfway between the chest and the outer edge and an extended range gather golem that IS on the chest will probably get everything.
Does anyone know the hexagonal pattern for greatwood wand cores? Just can't figure it out...
Open your thaumonomicon, go to the wands tab, and click on it. I'm betting you dont have it researched yet. If you do it will tell you right there how to make it.
Edit: OH, you asking about the mini game. My mistake. lets see...

Are you using the newest ver of thaumcraft?
In one of the newest vers a few of the aspects changed, such as tree changing to air/herb.
If you dont like the research game you can go into the thaumcraft config file and change it to easy mode where all research can be bought like the minor researchers currently are.
Then you're not using the latest version. There aren't any game breaking bugs in it. The only major bug is a graphical one with the bonebow in multiplayer. I recommend updating, and then checking the thaumnomicon entry on aspects again as some aspects received changes.
Now that's just lazy. I remember when we didn't have wikis and tools like this to play games. We had to think for ourselves. Oh great... Now I feel old...
That is a pretty interesting tool though. Out of curiosity, who made that?

Back in my day, we mapped the sound maze in Myst on a piece of paper! And by gum, we... well, we hated it to be honest. Bloody maze.

You've really gotta change that to spoiler tags rather then code. You can do so like this:

Ok, now to answer your question. You have a mod that's using an outdated version of TC4's api. as for what mod, well, I'm not really sure. Someone else will likely help you there. I thought the point of modpacks was to make sure everything worked fine.

upgrade them to advanced golems. they can see a bit further.
I get the same error using my own set of mods.
Still trying to work out the problem...
If you get it fixed, let me know.
Edit: It appears to be forestry. I've tried previous versions, but no luck so far...
I may be just a compatibility issue between the latest version of TC and forestry. hopefully it'll be fixed soon...
I'll let you know if I find a version of Forestry that is ok with TC.
Focus of Equal Trade does not recognize Mariculture's "Custom Blocks" as a valid block for swapping purposes, which is sad since the custom block is awesome.
Bug? or Working as intended?
Had big plans of using the wand to swap in 10,000+ custom blocks... now I'll have to figure out some other way.
Err... Sorry for asking again, but it seems I got a little lost in all of these posts.
Can I somehow get a golem to interact with the Thaumatorium/Alchemical construct... Thing?

try placing him on the side of the alchemical construct. not the crucible at the bottom, and give him a way to reach it. you might need to put a block next to the crucible, so he can step up one.
honestly, ive been using pipes to feed the catalyst items into it. so i dont know exactly if it works. it should though.
it would be nice if the thaumatorium could be upgraded with a magic mirror or something, to feed catalyst items into it.

Yeah I was talking about the research xD
Alrighty, I made a new game and researched it just for you. Here is what I got:
Tool -> Weapon -> Perdito -> Void ->Magic
Now linking off the Void it goes Air -> Void -> Air -> Tree
This might not be the best way, just what I tossed together.
