Great stuff, and a big step away from most mods that add new equipment in its inventive use of new and unorthodox effects.
It started as a personal challenge to implement the decorator pattern on top of the Item object inheritance model.

There are a few things I would like to mention about this mod that I dont understand:
1- I had gotten an item that said 'Converts to Emeralds when dropped'. When I dropped it on the ground, it was still the item it showed.
2- I would like to see, in a future update, a configuration file option to increase the spawn rate of the Wizard Tower places so I can have a few more to avoid roaming all over the place and never finding one.
3- Is there a way to disable those Illusion Blocks that prevent breaking blocks or building? I had found a tower once and those blocks kept me from getting out of the tower once I was stuck in a higher room.

Probably a bug. I'll look into it. There is a short delay before it happens (and not too long ago that delay was effectively zero due to another bug).

Recent analysis discovered a flaw in the placement algorithm that made them extremely rare in negative X locations. There is not, however, a good way to adjust their frequency on a "I was more/less" scale.

Oh, the anti-builders? Were you in the room behind the piston door? There's a few ways to fix your problem.
1) wait for the door to open again--it's attached to a light sensor.
2) break the anti-builder for that section of the building, it should be extremely obvious where it is (and all of them are accessible from either inside or outside the tower).
3) dig down. The wood floor in that room is a platform out from the main tower walls, you'll be dropped right outside.

Well, if it ever does become possible to adjust their spawn rate, I'll use the mod again. I recently had the Ruins mod installed, but none of the chests I discovered had anything in them, and I couldnt find any of the towers from this mod, most likely because the towers only seem to spawn in Extreme Hills biomes as well. But Im not gonna give up on my quest to find some good treasures.
Anyway. It's probably just the unintentional rareness West of 0,0 that's causing your difficulty; my survival game has the problem as well. I'd add a config option to tweak their rareness, except that the math is such that there isn't a slider value I can expose such that "smaller:rarer" (or "smaller:more common") is true.

You did. I just didnt want to page stretch by quoting it. Also, I just rage quit my current world when I found one of those Mega Mage Towers. I took out 4 of those Anti Build blocks, and apparently, there was still one in the building, but because of it, I wasnt able to dig out the hill around it, thus making it totally hidden and unfair. So I think you should add an option to remove the Anti Build blocks completely.

There are...10 if I recall correctly. Four at the base, four on the second floor and two more for the upper sections. And they shouldn't ever be inaccessible like that. If you still have the save I would like to take a look and see if the terrain did make them inaccessible.

I already deleted the world. And 10 blocks? That's way too many...

Only way to cover the whole tower. I could make them cover a larger area, but I don't think that would go over well.

Well, I guess I can just configure the mod so that more treasures appear in Temples and Pyramids. Also, I wanted to know what the full class name of the Anti Build block is so I can add it to a config file from another mod Im using.

SO I may have a lead on that random SMP bug where it crashes the player but not the server. My players on my server are saying that its crashing them when the durability gets to zero. So basically when the item is supposedly destroyed, or right before, it kicks them from the server, or possibly crashes the client. Also, after that happens the player is unable to rejoin the server (they get an "Internal server error") until I can either edit their inventory to delete it, or delete their player data. Does this help at all?
Actually, Im gonna go ahead and drop this mod from my personal modpack. Instead of saying why I dropped it, Im just gonna say that Im not as into the mod as I was earlier.

Very odd. I'll see if I can replicate that.

The main reason was that I have terrible luck with getting decent seeds for MC, and my most recent: I searched for literally 10 in game days and only found one structure, being your Mage Tower, and it had the room with the paintings on the wall and those four switches on another wall, and no combo of me flipping levers did anything at all. I only had access to 3 of the 10 Anti Build blocks, and I just cant stand those blocks anymore. If I were you, I'd take a look at the Guardian Block from Ars Magica (1.5.2 version) and try to replicate that block instead of using those Anti Build migraines.

I can take a look at that mod, I was basing off of Twilight Forest. As for the levers, there is a piston in the wall. It is kept active, bud switch style. You'd only notice if you went up a floor and down again. There's a different lever for the iron door.

Yeah, I have no idea what bud switch style means. Ive never been one for Redstone circuitry, and Ive never once crafted anything with redstone. But yeah, the Ars Magica mod has a better anti building block in it that you dont need to spawn all over a building...

It means that two levers are powering it and the have to be turned off in the right order.
As for the block, I wasn't able to find a description of it in the Ars Magica wiki (the 1.5.2 version, of course). If ypu couls provide a link that would be awesome.
