I think another good feature would be to make the items you hold in your hand scalable as well so that we could have little people holding equally proportionate tools, or having them hold big tools. Or reenact Cloud with his Buster Sword from FFVII by having a gigantic sword in hand.
You might be able to code that along with item position later on.

Well the solid headwear makes your headwear solid. Im not sure how to better explain that. You see the second picture in the OP? The cat, look at the red hat and the ears, those are solid now instead of just paper thin.
Some of the parts are included with the mods. For the player options: The hair, wings and tail are in the bottom right of your player texture and the snouts are right next to the head. Ill provide proper texture mapping later, as its kind of a waste of my time to recreate it everytime I add new stuff atm. Once it comes out of alpha and into beta Ill make it.
my old bunny model has the snout one pixel higher in your older mods before 1.6.2

Ah you are right. Hadnt noticed. I do think that one pixel lower like it is now, looks better and as addon body part more compatible with other skins, since most skins have their eyes lower than you have.

1)could you add the mine little pony model ?
2)could you add capes ?
3)when you add multiplayer support (bukkit-plugin ?!) could you also make it possible for server owners to run some kind of skin server on their server ? so people with this mod can upload a skin (HD ? pls :3 ) to a server with the plugin (if the server allows them to...),so everyone with more player models who plays on this server sees that custom skin^^
1) On the old post, he already said he wouldnt add the pony model, because it is strictly for that mod.
2)Capes probably arent gonna be added, due to strange rendering with MPM

I was wondering, if I were to create more textures for different body parts, say... Wings, regular tails and horse tails, or even spider / horse / naga legs, then place them into the mod's texture files, will I be able to use them in-game utilizing the current selection process? This would work great in singleplayer, though for multiplayer.. Perhaps having something akin to Server Resourcepacks, where you upload MpM resource packs to a DL site with all of the textures and custom sounds for people to use (Assuming you plan to mess around with custom sounds, such as footsteps), and the server asks connecting clients to download this pack. Or even just add them directly to existing resource packs, that'd work just as well.
Another idea would be to include a folder for placing custom models into, since you mentioned being able to resize and relocate custom body parts in the past. This way people could model and texture their own body parts or DL packs from servers and place them into this folder. This would allow servers to have a selection of unique races and such, if it's a roleplay server. This would also be a neat feature for Custom NPCs, but that's getting off topic..

1)might i ask why ? i am not a big pony fan,but it would be awesome if there are as many models as possible...so the pony one shouldn't be missing...
if the mine little pony mod author is against that,cause he fears that people will stop using his mod,then you could add some hooks for mine little pony,so if more player model mod users got the pony mod installed,they can also choose the pony model,...to see pony's you shouldn't have to install the mine little pony mod,only to use them by yourself...

1. it's possible to create a make-shift horse from the resizing and editing currently available. & There is the Horse available from Minecraft itself.
IF Noppes adds another "custom" horse model I sure hope it's NOT the MLP horse, no offense to MLP fans, but this is not for you. Use MineLittlePony mod for that. Of course, adding a hook or capability to the two mods I do support, because it would be nice to see all Player modifying mods compatible with one another.
2. Capes are nice, but in some instances I would fear they might conflict with some of the other options? Lets put a Cape on a Player who uses the Horse Legs, that cape is either going to have to bend to fit along that horse back or it's just going to go right through it. Same goes for any tail's added to the player.
Sure capes are cool and whatever, but I'm not sure they're really necessary. Besides, doesn't Optifine reward it's donators with Capes ingame? Though I'm sure there are other mods that specifically give capes to players too... But I can't say I'm a huge fan of the idea myself...*shrugs*
3. The server version is already supposed to show other players your skin and the like. Why would need an upload server for that kind of thing? In many respects it's going to work just like it used to, except now instead of the mod being required for players to see a custom player model, it's a server plugin for the server that is required. (Unless on LAN?)
I do however support the idea of being able to add or upload extra features of Horse Tails or Wings to a server itself to give players the option of more customization. Right now what I understand having my tail and wings is going to be tricky if not impossible to have colored/textured properly as they use the same space on the skin. If the server was able to host a file for my Tail or Wings it would be a lot easier on myself and other users could use my wings/tail as well if they needed/wanted to. (I'd probably do the wings, as there isn't currently a White Bat wing option available and I doubt anyone would need a bright green Fox Tail.) XD

And I'd love to see some rodents running around, like Mice/Rats, Squirrels and such. Currently and in the past there was never an option for a large bushy tail for something like Skunk or Squirrels.

Now that's a nice idea there. Now people can have more unique body parts.
One idea I have to add more alterations to body parts is to give different shading styles. Same texture, just a different style of shading so they can fit in with different players styles of skins.
