I second that motion. My FPS gets cut in half and starts hiccuping (and it isn't that great to begin with) whenever I move into an area of the rainbow forest in which I haven't simply gone on an animal slaughter for the sole reason of killing that lag.
Bedrock breaker NOT fixed. It still will not drop all of the bedrock dust inside when broken.Also, replace that lever in that first pic with a redstone clock. Apparently pistons can "jam." Lol.
Haha, you weren't joking when you said to break all the engines and shafts before updating. The odd thing is, everything still works fine even though it's all wood and DC engines. Breaking the shafts or engines drops what they're supposed to be, so that's nice. Looks like you moved all your engines onto one ID and keep track with the metadata now, which will definitely help with ID conflicts (although with the upcoming change to names, that won't be an issue much longer). Sure does some weird things to my inventory for a few seconds. Earlier, I had itemducts and liquiducts in my armor slots, and my hotbar was duped. Using the inventory sort from whatever mod it is fixed it back up though. I think I'll go grab my backup and break everything first then update again.

They always were one ID, but I rewrote the way the types were set in the machines (originally set by the placer item, now set by the metadata on creation). This then means that the TileEntity properties can vary with type (like lubricant capacity), and that the types can be made final, so a certain mod out there cannot turn all my engines into DC engines.

Prior to right now, all the requests for a config for that have been because the one asking felt the animal spawning was overpowered (in one person's words, "it takes all the struggle out of surviving long enough to make a food supply"). I consider that an illegitimate use of the configs, but I do understand your predicament.
What, though, is stopping you from simply killing a number of them? Even my laptop (a complete piece of s***) can get a playable framerate in the forests to be able to do that.
I can confirm both of these bugs. I've used the heater recently and it seems it works fine it's just the GUI which is failing. with fuel in it and a temperature typed in and the GUI is closed and reopened it will say 0 degrees, regardless of the GUI if a temperature is inputted with the fuel available the heater will work correctly.

Please I need assistance on how to electrolyze water in this machine. I have tried all kinds of things but have not been able to get anything to work. I am able to get heavy water into the left side tank but nothing beyond that. and I actually have the reactor build and will be improving on it once I get past this hurdle.

What, though, is stopping you from simply killing a number of them? Even my laptop (a complete piece of s***) can get a playable framerate in the forests to be able to do that.
Why not have a max for it as the default? You can set it as any int in between 0 and the max, and that will affect spawn rate. Then of course if they try setting it to, say, -1 or 100000, it will just default back to the max rate. You could just go with a simple 3 number case, with no spawn, regular spawn, and increased spawn, but it would also be nice to have a bit of control so you can increase the spawn rate a bit without having massive herds everywhere. And while it is possible to get close enough to slaughter animals and help clear up the framerate, it's better to pre-emptively keep them from spawning that much, and it gets rid of the issue of having to go back and clear out the place often. Why would having the player clear out the forest to lower the entity count for a better framerate be more advantageous than simply lowering a number in the config?

I cant get the steam boilers to accept liquids through pipes:
I can fill them manually with buckets of water. The pipes are connected to a reservoir of water in the ceiling.

Then this problem goes deeper...
Possibly. The heater was not designed for the Fermenter.
World corruption, the ability to act "through" the camera, "illegal stance" server kicking...
So the localizations are screwed up. However, good news: Copy the english ones into a folder called "RU" and it should fix it.

I can fill them manually with buckets of water. The pipes are connected to a reservoir of water in the ceiling.
