EDIT: Whatever you did to fix things is not needed any more; I fixed my bug (dumb, dumb mistake on my part). Your mobs now spawn in my dungeons just fine. But thanks for the extra effort and keep it up with the mobs.

Hey lycan! I know you posted a huge list of planned mobs and features on your website. I saw one mob on the list: the Yale. I like the idea, and it fits the mountain biome. It gave me an idea, though, involving a creature called Appa. Appa was a flying bison in Avatar: The Last Airbender. I think that if there was a flying bison-like creature that lived in the mountain biome, it would make a wonderful mount. You could mount the bison and then fly across the mountains. Also, a storage saddle might be an idea. A saddle that can store multiple chest. It would be wonderful for a nomadic lifestyle in minecraft.
I'm pretty sure I recommended the same thing at one point, so naturally agree with your idea wholeheartedly! It really would be awesome to travel the world on one of those. It could be a large beast of burden with lots of storage space and a large health pool, and would fly at a moderate clip as well (it wouldn't be nearly as fast as regular mounts, only a little faster than walking in the end, but you make up for the lower speed by just flying over terrain). You could even give it a special mount ability where it flaps its tail to make a gust of air that pushes enemies away when you are on the ground and gives you a burst of sped when you are in the air (it would of course have a cool down to avoid abusing it).

Crashed when we were attacked by demon mobs! Forge and minecraft are the finale version for 1.6.4. I am pretty sure its Balkon's cannon, but I was thinking that the explosion caused by one of your mobs may have caused the crash. His cannons have been blown up by TNTs and never once, has it crashed.

When you start working on the eel-like creatures, you should take inspiration from the Piranhadon from Peter Jackson's King Kong, it seems perfect for that sort of mob, it looks like this.

Avatar is a great series! An Air Bison would be cool, but all the planned mobs are listed now and I'm going to be saving flying mounts for the Dragons, but hmm, a Dragon Bison, kind of a long serpent with a big tail and fir and a bison head?

Hmm I'll take a look into this one, what's happening is this:
A projectile form this mod (Demonic Lightning Sparks) is hitting the Cannon from Balkons Weapons mod, the cannon then assumes that the projectile that just hit it was thrown by an entity, in this case it would be either a Cacodemon or a player with the Demonic Lightning Scepter or Demonic Lightning Charge, but possibly when the map is reloaded, the thrower is lost so a projectile has no thrower anymore or if the projectile was fired from a dispenser, then there is no thrower, this then causes a crash as Balkon's mod is checking a thrower that never or no longer exists.
My projectiles follow vanilla behaviour and thus you'll find that if you place down a dispenser and put some Snowballs in it and the place a cannon in front of the dispenser and fire the dispenser, the snowball will hit the cannon without having any entity set as its thrower and then the cannon will check to set what the thrower is and crash! So I think this is purely Balkon's side, I'll message him with the bug, looks like a very easy quick fix.
When you start working on the eel-like creatures, you should take inspiration from the Piranhadon from Peter Jackson's King Kong, it seems perfect for that sort of mob...
They will likely look something like this, not sure about limbs though.

Also, thank you for making my cave experience more realistic! Now, when I'm mining, I won't have to hear a "squawk!", and receive a package of butt hurt from an angry bird on steroids! But the question is, will Ents spawn underground? Because I hope they don't!

Still hoping to see those Lacedons soon. A threat lurking in the oceans would make boating over the ocean a lot more tense but also a lot more interesting. If you do go with that seaweed roping idea make it so that they can pull you right out of boats too (at least on hard-mode or nightmare).
Anyways, as a preliminary start of the advanced AI in 1.8, testificates now harvest fully grown crops!
EDIT: Whatever you did to fix things is not needed any more; I fixed my bug (dumb, dumb mistake on my part). Your mobs now spawn in my dungeons just fine. But thanks for the extra effort and keep it up with the mobs.

Awesome, I'm going to edit the Themes and include my mod and then post a pack here along with a link to your mod as it is pretty damn awesome!
For everyone else this means that there will be awesome randomly generated Doomlike Dungeons' with mobs from this mod roaming around!

I'm pretty sure I recommended the same thing at one point, so naturally agree with your idea wholeheartedly! It really would be awesome to travel the world on one of those. It could be a large beast of burden with lots of storage space and a large health pool, and would fly at a moderate clip as well (it wouldn't be nearly as fast as regular mounts, only a little faster than walking in the end, but you make up for the lower speed by just flying over terrain). You could even give it a special mount ability where it flaps its tail to make a gust of air that pushes enemies away when you are on the ground and gives you a burst of sped when you are in the air (it would of course have a cool down to avoid abusing it).

Avatar is a great series! An Air Bison would be cool, but all the planned mobs are listed now and I'm going to be saving flying mounts for the Dragons, but hmm, a Dragon Bison, kind of a long serpent with a big tail and fir and a bison head?
Hmm I'll take a look into this one, what's happening is this:
A projectile form this mod (Demonic Lightning Sparks) is hitting the Cannon from Balkons Weapons mod, the cannon then assumes that the projectile that just hit it was thrown by an entity, in this case it would be either a Cacodemon or a player with the Demonic Lightning Scepter or Demonic Lightning Charge, but possibly when the map is reloaded, the thrower is lost so a projectile has no thrower anymore or if the projectile was fired from a dispenser, then there is no thrower, this then causes a crash as Balkon's mod is checking a thrower that never or no longer exists.
My projectiles follow vanilla behaviour and thus you'll find that if you place down a dispenser and put some Snowballs in it and the place a cannon in front of the dispenser and fire the dispenser, the snowball will hit the cannon without having any entity set as its thrower and then the cannon will check to set what the thrower is and crash! So I think this is purely Balkon's side, I'll message him with the bug, looks like a very easy quick fix.
They will likely look something like this, not sure about limbs though.
Wow, these ents are complete awesomeness, Maybe we'll regret cutting down that last tree, hehe. Anyways i am most excited for the insect mobs... Like the Vespids, Tarantula and Spitters, and ofcourse the woodland Calpods... maybe they will come soon?

Well I've just about got the next mob modelled already, I did it a few days ago! But I'll open a vote again for the next mob!
So what would people like to see the most for 1.4.5? No water or lava mobs yet (ones that swim, the Lacedon is ok), also the Vespids should come after the Conbas are added and also Calpods and Vespids are going to take a while because of their nests, I think for now getting the easier ones out first could be better.
But what about Concapedes (Centipedes) and Mosswines?
Also, what happened to the Trent?

Still hoping to see those Lacedons soon. A threat lurking in the oceans would make boating over the ocean a lot more tense but also a lot more interesting. If you do go with that seaweed roping idea make it so that they can pull you right out of boats too (at least on hard-mode or nightmare).
