Well, this is due to galacticraft. We have no idea why this happens, or how to fix it. We have tried contacting the GC devs but have heard nothing back. Sadly, you need to chose between the two for now.
ah ok, thanks for replying anyways. I don't know what it is about galacticraft but it seems to hate all other mods. I've had issues with it before where it has refused to work with another mod. Anyways for now I think I'll give galacticraft a try but maybe I'll start another world to try out this as well

Amazing mod. Can't wait to see what Way has in store for us
A little tip for those who have the air sigil: Pair it up with a hang glider. Blows away jetpacks or bat morph flight IMO.
Just boost yourself up with the sigil then switch to the glider. You can also hold down shift for fast gliding. Can travel massive distances in very little time this way.
Can you harvest the blood of players in mutliplayer?
Yes and no, you can't sacrifice them, but they can donate their blood by putting it into your blood orb for you, or by using a ritual of the feather knife you can have it absorb from them when they are within range. (Note to self: might be a great defense on our PvP server, this and my army of fleshy defenders would be fun)
I can't take it forcefully however, unless you force them into the ritual.

Or how about a machine/altar thing that pulls LP from your Orb into your Altar?
We actually have some thing like that! Build a ritual of the feathered knife and a rite of regeneration under your altar. Then any time a player comes near it will drain there life, then heal them, drain, heal... Basically, you use a player as a middle man between the SN and the altar. Best part of this set up? You gain LE from it!(Assuming your using a good enough SS altar).
Sorry for all the technical terms...

I have a quick question, and I apologize if it has been answered, but a search on google, and this forum search by topic got me nothing.
I have 2 altars approximately 25-30 blocks apart. One is tier 5, and has been there for a while, the other is tier 4 (all runes just no beacons yet) that I completed tonight. The tier 5 has a feathered knife ritual that is turned off currently. The tier 4 has a well of suffering ritual that is active & killing mobs, dumping LP into the blood altar. I have an archmage's blood orb in the altar, but it is not accepting LP. The 'system' is not full, with ~850k LP currently.
I have tried placing all of the orbs from the earliest, weakest, to the latest archmage's and had no success.
Is this something with the proximity of the altars? I tried removing one & still getting no where, but maybe I need to do something else.
Is it that the other orbs were created on the one altar & much be used only there? I tried to create a new orb in the new altar without success.
The only other thing I can think of is that the altar requires open sky over head? I did not see this anywhere, but if that is the issue, then that is an easy fix, assuming teleposers would allow it to activate once open sky was available.

Hmm, wonder if Vazkii is having a similar issue. Perhaps there is a way using the multipart API -shudders- to get the stored NBT data? Because what it seems from that log is that the multipart block stores its data not on the block but on a hashmap for that location. Which just seems odd...

Life sometimes hits people hard ... sometimes you do better getting back up again than not getting hit at all. -WayofTime
Yup multipart data is stored in a seperate file for whatever reason.
That is stupid. I am going to say that it is Forge Multipart's problem until I find out a solution. The blocks need to be saved with the same methods, otherwise things like this will happen. In circuit theory, we are taught that you should be able to have your circuit work even with some variances in the parts - if your circuit needs a resistor with a value of exactly 3275.38271 Ohms, then the circuit is poorly designed.

Well, this has been reported to FMP Github page. Now all we can do is wait for an answer...

Heard back from chicken bones and the FMP team. Seems like to properly move multi parts you need to use one of his classes. While I can understand not wanting to jump through hoops for compatibility, he does provide an example of how to use it:
So, some may wonder how my spell system is going...
... Not bad.
WayofTime, as a senior inspector of the MEOW(Mages for the Ethical treatment of Wildlife) Organization, I must condemn your actions regarding that, or those, harmless cows who have never done anything to you. I also must condemn your enthusiasm in stating the success of your spell, which looks totally awesome by the way, because you used said awesome spell on a cow. By Section V Sub-Section VI Article III Sub-Article I Point IV I am required to fine you 10 LP for you inhuman and insensitive actions towards wildlife, specifically harmless cows. As an organization we believe that you will find this fine very difficult to fulfill and through that device will make you think twice before you inhumanly treat a helpless animal again. MEOW thanks you for your time and your life force and fervently hopes that we will not be forced to have this discussion with you again.
Hail the textbook, for the textbook contains knowledge and knowledge is power. Those who do not seek new knowledge even occasionally are likely to live their whole life in a state of un- fulfilling stagnation.

Any and all future fines you have for Way may also be redirected here, as long as no golems(Or other artificial lifeforms) are harmed in his tests we will be willing to continue this deal. Are these terms agrable with MEOW?(Technically it is METW, but I'll indulge you)

Quick summery of my test to replicate this bug to make a crashlog: Teleposed a few thermal expansion pipes(Which caused them to vanish) then one attempt caused this crash...
Futher testing showed that ANY multi part teleposed will be sent to limbo. Please fix this bug, it is starting to get crowded here, and my home is not a waste bin.

Hmm, wonder if Vazkii is having a similar issue. Perhaps there is a way using the multipart API -shudders- to get the stored NBT data? Because what it seems from that log is that the multipart block stores its data not on the block but on a hashmap for that location. Which just seems odd...

Regen beacons don't work on animals, you'd have to use the Ritual of Regeneration if you don't want the Well of Suffering to kill your animals.
