This will be fixed/is fixed in the next release. I'll format the OP tonight, and have it out by the end of today!
Awesome!
While we're on the subject of bugs, would it be possible to do something about the bounding boxes on the plinths? They're pretty much standing quicksand traps.

Awesome mod! But this Magicians Orb thing...wow.
So assuming I didnt have any sacrifice runes, I would need to have a full altar (10,000 LP) + 150 animals (200 x 150 = 30,000 LP) ready to slaughter just to make this thing?

Yep. That is why you need them. I would highly recommend you start making runes.

Question not the mad-mans ways, for you may begin to see logic in his actions, then find yourself mad as well.
You may call me The Madman, as there is no name that suits me better.
I happen to make modded survival maps, if your interested see my latest: The Asylum
One block. Again, I would highly recommend you start making runes of sacrifice. You'll want the latter anyway.
What? How is that even possible? I must be missing something here.
Ok so I make a farm large enough to hold 150 animals. Then When I'm ready to create the orb I need to have all the animals right next to the altar. So basically I'll need 150 animals + 150 safari nets to get them all in the right position?

You are:Runes. One rune of sacrifice increases the yield from 250 per to 275. Two = 275 to 300. A T3 alter with only sacrifice runes = 28 runes * 25 = 700 LE per sacrifice. This means you can make the magicians blood orb with 43 animals (Assuming you had a full alter). Alternatively, you can use hostile mobs for 500 a pop, or 1900 with full sacrifice runes(You would only need 16 this route.). This seem more possible?

Edit: Fixed a math derp.
Better but still a royal PITA haha.
There's gotta be a better way. I'm thinking fill up the altar all the way, pump it out into a tank, repeat 4 times.
Then pump back in during the crafting of the orb.
I read on this thread that pumping does in fact work both ways. My only concern is that its pumps so slow that it would stall the crafting of the orb. Can anyone confirm?

Yep. It pumps in and out at a rate of 20LE(or milabuckets) per second. It takes a little over eight minutes to fully drain or fill an alter at this rate.
To incress this rate, you need runes of dislocation. And you need a magicians blood orb to make them. So, your going to need to make the runes anyway. There is no getting around it.

Ok thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if any balancing is done. At this point its just not worth the grind.

This is a rather "Fixed" balance point. Way the mod creator wants people to work for it. You can't expect to make Ic2 nukes in a day? Considering everything that becomes available once you have the orb, it is worth a small grind. And the fact that automation become available after this is just one reason why it is so hard to progress.
To be a blood mage, you need to put a lot of blood, sweet, and effort to your goals. If one small grind can stop you, then this mod isn't for you. Consider how long you spend on Ic2 and grinding up to there machines. Is this not the same?

I also don't even understand HOW it can be done. It's one thing to have to make all the runes and a big farm, grindy but fine. But to require each animal to be exactly next to the alter when I sacrifice them is just something I dont know how to do lol.
Safari nets? Build a big farm in the air with a trap door at the bottom?

I see your point. Im not saying it should be easy. I just uninstalled both dartcraft and morph because they make things too easy. I love TE3, but I think its borderline too easy (well, the lower and mid-tier stuff is super easy but the high end stuff balances it i think).
This just seems prohibitively grindy though, even compared to IC2.

Once you have the magicians blood orb you can build the rite of containment. This holds them near the alter. You can also just fence them in.
Personally, I use self sacrifice to start up. A potion flask with instant healing, and its a simple process to create a magician's blood orb.

Bit of a catch 22?
Still not seeing how you can have 43 animals (minimum) all within 1 block of the altar lol. Is there some quantum physics mod I need to use for this?
*edit. If anybody has a video of them crafting the magicians blood orb could you kindly post it I just checked on youtube and the only thing I could find was somebody failing at it.
Awesome!

For Way's eyes only:
Increase demon shard drop. Just unfair without looting.
Pillars don't render items inserted by hoppers.
demon summoning only pull from one pillar if there feed by hoppers. While useful for an automated setup for elemental summoning, it is still a bug.
Does this bug fix to eleimentals allow shade elemental to be returned?
Huston, we might have a problem:
This just seems like too many ores.
All-in-all it was solid. No crashes, freezes, and only one exploit involving meteors.

The meteor needs to be good to be worth it! :3

Ok Thanks. Do you happen to know what the radius is for sacrificing? maybe 16 blocks? I'm gonna have to make a pretty large farm lolz
