Aye Cap'n. This is one of the two errors I should probably patch up in a small update while I tackle bigger changes.
Doesnt seem serious, only caused one crash. I teleported the the coords but couldnt find a door, my guess is the crash caused a rollback which in turn removed the door from the map.
Would it be possible to get a version of the carpenter's hatch that also acts as a ladder? If you do not know what I mean please check out the jaded ladder video here: http://www.minecraft...152-openblocks/
Catpenter's blocks are tile entities. Multipart tile entities do not really work.
I'm not suggesting that carpenters microblocks be added that mimic the functionality of the blocks they look like, (neither mod does that anyway) only that there be carpenters microblocks that tie into the multipart API alongside multipart microblocks.
It's there. Check your config to ensure it's enabled, and then check your logs to make sure it didn't have problems initializing it.
Hey there.
I'm not sure if this was mentioned before and apologize if it has. Someone from the server I go to reported getting a crash whenever they put marble from Chisel on a Carpenter's Bed, they get a rendering crash. I heard that this also happened with cobble but I'm not 100% sure. I do remember limestone and marble from Chisel rendering oddly when put in a barrel from the Barrels mod, but I was just curious if this was something I oughta mention to Automatic_Maiden or you.
Unfortunately, no. If you're using a plugin that allows copying of tile entities, it should work fine (I heard worldedit works a while back).
Thanks. Now my only problem is the diagonal doors for my diagonal building. I tried using pistons but it's not working using the carpenter's blocks.
And one more thing. Can I use your mod for my thesis project? I'm creating a virtual replica of my school with NPC and quests. Using your mod to create magnificent roof instead of pyramids is a big help. All the credits will be in the documentation of the study

Pistons are not able to move Carpenter's Blocks. This is just how it is. Yes you can use this mod for your project since you will give credit to Mineshopper it is not a problem.

For some reason I've noticed when I join my server some of the carpenter blocks are losing their covers and are just bare carpenter blocks, this didn't happen that often in 1.9.3 but 1.9.5 I had to replace at least 50 blocks at my spawn.
Pistons can not move tile entities so it wont happen.

This is just a suggestion, so take it witih a grain of salt, however if you would be ever so kind to reply with a yes, no, or maybe.
There is an api known as the "forgemultipart API" which allows you to place certain blocks in other blocks, Now i don't know about you, but having a railing on my slopes, or a chimy rising right out of my slopes, would be awesome.
This would mean basically rewriting the whole mod, so.. grain of salt

Could be many things. Independent testing on your part may make it easier to debug. Throw a bunch of signs around the blocks with text. If the problem happens and the signs in the immediate area are blank, that's the bug.
Or.. someone could be taking all your covers!
Other than that, I really don't know why that would happen. Is it in the protected spawn area? Could be a bug with player permissions (which aren't really fleshed out).

I will take a look at it eventually. Depending on the difficulty in implementing it, I may decide to do it. But it requires many dependencies to work 100% and there's a chance all the bug reports would come straight to me.
Alright folks v1.9.6 pushed. It has a couple small glitches that are noted in the new "CURRENT BUGS" spoiler below the changelog. Will get around to ironing out any remaining bugs for next version, but I wanted to get out a cleaner version in the meantime.
I added a few things that were requested, fixed a few bugs, and lots of other things under the hood. There may be bugs I didn't catch so just let me know if anything pops up.

I checked in my config file and the blocks for the door, ladder and bed aren't even there. Should I delete the mod and redownload it?
Edit: I did that and I got those 3 blocks (besides changing some ID conflicts)! Besides that, thanks for your help! And I really hope more and more intresting things will be in your mod!
Hey your mod is one of my favourites, I love the level of customization it offers to make things pretty!
I don't usually do this but I have a suggestion - what if slope blocks could make slopes with a rise to run different from 1:1? I imagine the way you would do this is to place down a bunch of slope blocks in a rectangle pattern and "link them up" somehow and tell them to slope : so if you placed two slope blocks next to each other horizontally and linked them up, it would make a gentle slope with 1:2 rise to run ratio. This would give so much more decorative freedom! but I have no idea how feasible it is.

Report, side covers are using covers textures instead of the proper ones.

The collapsible block is an experimental block which can almost accomplish this. Once I flesh it out a bit more with a full 17 states, improved sloping, and improved lighting, it ought to do the trick.

I will consider it.

I have to see the crash log to be 100% sure.

Can't reproduce this. Images and detailed instructions would help.
