RE: Soapbox. I just wanted to say that there are many of us that do read all the posts. Usually, we get the information we need so we have no need to post. I think that is partly why it seems that no one reads the message since you don't normally hear from us. ;-)

Anyway, to the modders and modderators out there, a big thank you! Your work is greatly appreciated even if it is not always expressed.

I realized that after I made my post, although the soapbox posts were mainly directed at the people that don't bother to go looking for the information and complain. But I've learned my lesson, no more from me. I'm out!

So Lemming/Myrathi, any chance we can get a sneak peek of new things to come with Myrathi taking over?

myrathi is playing lot of FFXIV, so i hope Lemming still working on TE...

I know this has been asked once, but I just want to get it out of me. Please make your world gen feature as a stand-alone mod... the best I seen that is both simple and working. Right now my world is not the same with out those large veins of iron, redstone, diamonds, etc. Yes I know its basically cheating, but with lots of mods i don't feel like mining everyday for stuff....

*exhales* man, that felt good.

I hope to see TE up and running soon for 1.6.2, but take your time. Make it great so that its impossible to live with... not that its hard to live without already

You could always use:

Then you can simply select the kind of ore generation you want for each ore type when you create a new world

Is there a github or something for beta builds? Love the mods, wouldnt play Modded MC without em!

yet again, to anyone who thinks this mod is dead (not including the guy above me), it is not . here is the information about the situation from this and the last page.
Lemming is currently working on porting the mod over to 1.6. his PhD is taking up a lot of his time, and on top of that he is slightly ill (like from a cold). after the port to 1.6 is finished, then Myrathi will be taking over the mod.

the port has yet to enter closed beta even on the forgecraft testing server, so it will be taking some time. in addition to the issues updating to 1.6.2, he now has to update to 1.6.3, which broke a number of things.

Myrathi should take over now if lemming doesn't have time to update his mods

well with things going on in his life, i'm just happy that he's still taking his time and trying to update this. yea alot of people tend to not read any of the post aside from the ~O.P.~ so...... needless to say it's gonna happen quite often where either people just ask for the mod's and not know what's going on, or similar things of that matter....

The race is on for me - Thaumcraft 4 Vs TE2 Port. Which will release first
These are the last 2 mods so I can update my world.

If only every single Minecraft update didn't break mods... It'd make the whole mod community happier (both modders and mod users). Wasn't Mojang going to work on an official API? What ever happened to that?

It's supposedly still in the works, they haven't updated the official api github in months though.
