King Lemming, with as awesome as you are with your original ideas and original artwork and having many of the most amazing machines ever made in Minecraft, If the 3.0 update includes new material PLEASE continue to work on it. I for one can wait for another masterpiece!

What's this rumor I'm hearing that you're gonna retire entirely from modding?
According to what he said on Dire's Dose of Goodness today, he's passed the mod off due to workload. Which is perfectly understandable. That being said. I'd like to thank King Lemming for all the, I'm sure, countless hours of work that went into this mod that we were all free to enjoy. Thanks and good luck.
Tesseracks, Redstone conduit instead of clunky buildcraft pipes, awesome machines...
I'm having a hard time playing 1.6 without T-Ex mod..
So far, T-Ex, Thaumcraft, and RP2 are the only mods left for 1.62 which havn't been updated that I need for my awesome mod lineup.
If you would have read back a little, you would know that Lemming has handed off control of Thermal Expansion to someone else (not sure who). TC is being worked on, I know Azanor has a test build that has been put up on Forgecraft 2 (the testing server, Soaryn was streaming it last night) and Eloraam has been distracted from RP2 due to DOTA and there are some REALLY nice RP2 replacement mods out there (look up "Project: Red").

Based on his last post he hasn't handed control over to anyone but has 1 or more person helping him.
There are people helping me, but the entire mod is transitioning into a 3.0 version - that is the majority of the delay. A straight port might not be too difficult and is something I'll consider. Open source only works when the entire mod isn't being rewritten from the ground up.
Hoping I can get some help in regard to TE GUI. I am creating my own texture pack - and I am having difficulty locating various parts of the GUI ... meaning this. Apparently the GUI uses a modular graphics system and the power bar, smelting bar, fuel bar, etc are pulled from another source.
For example, the Furnace.png has all the above indicators with the file itself, but, do not use them as vanilla textures (vanilla meaning vanilla to the default TE texture files) show up overlaid the GUI file.
So, the million dollar question. Where are those specific files located so that I can match them to my custom textured GUI files?
When I put oak wood in my furnace, it creates at least 25 charcoal

I'm not nagging or anything...
Would just like to know if you have decided to do the straight port to 1.6.2 that you talked about?
KingLemming is no longer the dev of this mod.
Funny, that's not what he said. He may be planning on handing it over to someone but as of right now he is still working on it.
Edit: Excuse me, as of 29 August
I put CoFH Core in, and now when I load it up, it comes to a black screen. Are there any mods that CoFH Core isn't compatible with?
It wasn't CoFH Core, it was a different mod. No need to reply!
I expect it's from the Direwolf20 FC2 S2E12 that went live today.
Of cource, if you watch the FTB Stream Team you'd already have known about it.
Funny. He has turned it over to those new people now.
Well, as I said, as of the 29th he was still working on it. Funny how I'm still right.
There are already mods that add ores like the ones from TE. Which are IC2 (1.6.2 version), Metallurgy 3, and Factorization.
"You cannot connect to server"
is what it says when I try to join my brother's LAN World... Any tips? We're both using the same mods.
Funny how you have to be right.
