What's probably happening is its being disabled because of the textbox in his stuff, as part of the 'fix sorting happening while typing in anvils/NEI/other textboxes' thing it disables sorting keys while any standard MC textbox is focused.
Yes I get what you're saying but it happens when the text box is not focused like for
Instance in the access terminal instead of auto search where the text box is focused, I have it set to standard search. The only thing I am confused about is that I didn't have this issue in 1.5 regardless of what was set in the access terminal. Sorting worked fine with auto search .
So now the question is , is this on your end or algorithms? Also can you reproduce this bug in your instance or is this just me with this problem because if that's the case I'm wondering if another mod or something else I have installed is causing the issue. When I get off work I will make a new instance with just Ae and invTweaks to see if the issue still persists.

On further thought (and a bit of testing), it's probably because there's no explicit AE support and I stopped making it 'guess' where the player inventory was located for random containers after IC2 reordered their machine inventories to make the guess that works for vanilla break for them.
Just as a note, it will probably take some time for 1.7 updates due to the ID changes requiring some level of change to quite a lot of the mod. I hope to have at least a test build within a week of all the tools for modding being updated, but it is likely to be rather buggy at least at first.
Kobata, Thank you for awesome mod!
I have one question: "Can you create one more button with function "Quick Stack" (Like in terraria)?"
Quick Stack will gives us opportunity to increase amount of items in chest with items from inventory.
i watch direwolf20 and i saw him hold right mouse button and it auto distributes a stack of items in a crafting table. how do i enable that in my minecraft? it only puts one item in a crafting table slote instead of autodistribute..
Yeah i think http://build.technicpack.net/ is down, which is what the download is hosted on, same with modular powersuits which also uses it as host Tis probably because they've moved to their new host http://www.technicpack.net/
Nvm it's working again now

I believe in the Invisible Pink Unicorn, bless her Invisible Pinkness.
Thats vanilla mechanics, you just hold Right mouse button in stead of left (its the other way around, sorry)
i guess i didnt explain properly. vanilla is hold right click to distribute up to 9 items in a crafting table, while i saw direwolf20 take a stack of items and the whole stack split up based on how many slots were covered. IE: 1 slot has 64 cobblestone, dragged over to the next slot, they both have 32, 4 slots get 16 each, and 8 slots get 8 each.

Can it not be that the inventory tweak works for all inventory's GUI, including modded? Is it that hard? I could understand how you need to read the slots, but there must be a way to just test for all of them. A lot of backpack mods do not have the sorting and buttons of inventory tweaks. Thank you.

You must first learn the rules before you break them.
Hallo thar! I'm having some trouble installing this mod. I installed it as instructed, but it doesn't work. It doesn't show up on the in-game mods list, and it just doesn't happen in-world. Can someone help me fix this problem?

I think your problem is that you have Mo' Creatures installed. That may be your issue, inventory tweaks and mo' creatures may not be compatible. Try running your minecraft without Mo' Creatures, and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, try removing your other mods until it does work.

Already tried that. Tried it as the only mod, even. Here's my crash report:

I love this mod It makes everything nice and neat in my inv and in chests, Sense I have lazy people that just dump there items in a chest, So I love this mod so much.
Already tried that. Tried it as the only mod, even. Here's my crash report:
*snip*
The seventh line states the problem (broken into multilines so it won't run off the screen):
java.lang.VerifyError:
(class: enhancedbooks/zpig333/core/ServerPacketHandler,
method: handleExpBookGuiButtonPressed
signature: (ILnet/minecraft/entity/player/CallableItemName;)V)
Incompatible argument to function
... more noticeably the "class:" reference, where the "enhancedbooks/zpig333/core/ServerPacketHandler" is the problem mod's server-side packet-handler. I don't know anything about an "enhanced books" mod; but, start with that, and see if anything else is using that mod.
Edit: I thought I may have half-remember a mod or suggestion for improving books with more pages or something, and I thought I posted in such a thread, but I cannot find it through search. It may have been the "enhanced books" mod but I'm not sure. Still, I don't know how someone could mistake such a mod with InvTweaks, when the crash error is specified only seven lines from the top of the log.
Yes I get what you're saying but it happens when the text box is not focused like for

Any 1.6.4 version should work, just use the recommended one.
Ok glad you figured it out
I have one question: "Can you create one more button with function "Quick Stack" (Like in terraria)?"
Quick Stack will gives us opportunity to increase amount of items in chest with items from inventory.
Have a good day!
sorry for my bad english

Nvm it's working again now

Sorry for bad English
Because of that, i searched a little on google and found this.

It's working fine for me, and i thought there are many people who want to play with invTweaks,
so i have to share it.

The seventh line states the problem (broken into multilines so it won't run off the screen):
... more noticeably the "class:" reference, where the "enhancedbooks/zpig333/core/ServerPacketHandler" is the problem mod's server-side packet-handler.
