It looks like your BiblioCraft[v1.3.3].zip file is corrupt or something. That crash is a result of BiblioCraft v1.3.3 not loading (it would also show up if you tried to use BiblioWoods without BiblioCraft). Try re-downloading BiblioCraft v1.3.3.

Just posted a new version! Not many changes in regular BiblioCraft, but now we have woods! With Biomes O' Plenty and Forestry addon, that is another 296 varieties of blocks! (24 woods in Forestry, 13 woods in Biome O' Plenty, and 8 BiblioCraft blocks). See the downloads section to download.
V1.3.3 - *Made a bunch of changes to accommodate having wood addons. Wood addons require at least v1.3.3 to function. *Redstone now propagates through the block behind the bookcase and display case. Also both blocks no longer emit a redstone signal from the front side. *Changed placement methods for lamps and lanterns. Now uses the face of the block the player clicks to determine if its a table/floor style, wall style, or ceiling style.
Mother of.... You, man, are crazy, doing amazing crazy things. Congratulations for your always grateful updates.
I don't have a copy saved. I guess if the link is broken I need to remove it from my post. Perhaps one of the fine folks who visit this forum may have a copy of the old one or have a new one they wouldn't mind sharing.
For the LWC core.yml permssions, I found this online and have it working on a test server. The syntax is below. Note the single quotes around the entire string before the last colon.
From the BiblioCraft.cfg file you can find all of the assigned item IDs. Each block is listed below except for the Lamp and Lantern. You should make a copy of the core.yml file before editting in case the new file has tabs/incorrect spacing on starting the server.
I was going to post an unrelated question on the Select a Book menu not appearing, but I just determined that the select box is either of the 2 corners, rather than the middle box.
I've got a great idea for the armor stands! Why not have them display WEAPONS too!! a slot where each hand would be, enabling you to show off up to two weapons on every stand. Can be placed in regular, up to attack or blocking stances.

You sir, are a boss.
May I oh so humbly request natura wood types for the next addon?

This is something that has been requested a few times before. I'm not sure if this is something I want to do or not. If I did it would probably only be one weapon and it wouldn't so much in a hand (since there really isn't any hands or arms to speak of) but rather a "sword in the stone" style thing right in the middle front. Just have to wait for time to tell if I get into adding this cause I haven't made a definitive decision yet..

I wasn't going to mention it until it was ready, but you just had to ask didn't you. Natura will definitely be happening. I already have the texture set completed. I made it part of my texture run I did where I did all the woods textures in one big batch. However, I am unable to finish up the natura add-on until I get some slabs in Natura for recipes. I've already talked to mDiyo about it and he said they were high on his priority list. So please, anyone reading this, Do Not bug mDiyo about adding slabs, he knows about what I am doing, it will happen.
Additional woods are great, but might I suggest Forestry woods includes Extra Trees?
Thanks
Well, Extra Tree's is part of Extra Bee's so that would definitely qualify as a separate package. That's some modception there. A mod of a mod of a mod. Really though, I'm not sure extra tree's will make it in anytime too soon. I think there is 34 types of woods and many of them I think are quite similar to planks you will find in the other packages. Regardless of anything else though, as far as I can tell there is no API which I would need to access the block ID of that mod so I can make recipes. There also isn't any slabs it seems, which I also need for recipes. Part of it may just be because extra trees is so new. So don't hold your breath for this one anytime soon.
Hi there,
Is there any development built for 1.6.1?
Because I want to add it on my private server for me and my friends.
I am going to use it with Caryfish's furniture mod.
Kind regards,
Me!
I am working on it. I've made a lot of progress but still have a little bit to do. It has been taking a little extra time this round for Forge to get everything in order as well due to the complexity of some of the newer internal systems in minecraft. Mostly the resource packs, that changed the way minecraft handles textures and sounds and all kinds of stuff so there are a lot of internal changes. Plus it's taking me a little time to understand the new resource system myself and then all this falling on a holiday (at least for us Americans) slows it down even more. No worries though, its on the way.
Noo! Please make a modloader compatible version of this! I really love mods like this, and this is the best one I've found, but It's for Forge! I use Modloader, and already have some mods, so please, it would mean a lot to me, just make it modloader compatible! Thank you for considering this idea!

Update
You can't just "Make something modloader compatible" at some points. You do know there's a reason more people use Forge, right?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The Emperor's Rage echoes through the hills. The Emperor's Strength grips this land with fists of iron. The Emperor's Courage burns everlasting. The Endless Army will crush the Emperor's foes.
Fantastic Mod, really enjoying it on our server. The only thing I could think of is that with 1.6 it would be nice to have Horse Armor Displays that hold horse armor and saddles like the existing armor displays.

Sorry, there won't ever be a modloader version I use many features of forge that both make compatibility with other mods a non issue and take a most of the workload off from implementing some stuff (like OBJ models) and let me concentrate on adding the fun stuff. Might I suggest trying your mods with forge?, many modloader mods work just fine with forge. At least that has been the case up through 1.5.

I was kind of thinking about that too after checking out the horses and their armor. I may just have to implement something for horse armor and saddles. I'll be coming out with a port of 1.3.3 first before I add any new features. I am getting quite close, only a couple things I want to finish up and I may come out with a beta release. There is a couple minor bugs I have left that I may not be able to fix until a 1.6.2 on monday or I get my hands on a release of a couple other mods that I support so I can do some proper testing. I just have a feeling a good bit of my armor stand mod support might have been affected by the resource system in 1.6. In the end, its for the best, but might be a few hiccups bringing the armor stand up to the same level of compatibility I have in 1.5. Either way, I'll make sure everything works good in vanilla and get out a beta release and go from there.
That would be awesome. It would make it really easy to mark stables on our server if we had the option of putting a horse armor display outside.
Also, one thing I found this morning. Is it possible to have more than 9 books when using the typesetting table? When you attempt to save a 10th book, it turns blue but does not write to the books folder. The Book Selection window also doesn't update with the book, so I'm not sure if there is any scroll/pageup/pagedown functionality.

There isn't a limit to the number of books that can be on a typesetting table. After you get enough, a scrollbar will appear on the right hand side. Is what might be happening is perhaps you have an invalid character in the title of your book. To save properly, book titles must follow the same rules as your OS has for naming files. For example if you try to save a book with a "?" in the title, the book will turn blue, but won't actually save. Java also throws a IO error when you try to save with an invalid character. If you have the console running, you will see that as well.
Could you make an option in the config so that the blocks/items in the shelves/item racks don't rotate. PLEASE!!!!!
That's Vanilla Minecraft behavior. Set your graphics to Fancy (or dropped items to Fancy if you're using Optifine). There's nothing that can be done on Bibliocraft's end, its a client-side setting that you have to change.
Our mod works with most mods. We have seen people experience issues with IDResolver, and some do not. Do you have a crash log? You just put the zip file directly into the mods folder and not unzip it? Do you have the latest forge version? I hope these questions help. Please let us know if you found what was happening if able to be fixed or reply and I will try to help you further.
I feel like an idiot. I installed it into the .jar at first. Thank you :3
EDIT: It works!!! I love you (No homo)

Lol, Thanks! I'm Glad I helped. Don't feel bad, as a matter of a fact, that's why I am so good at my job of bug finding, because I mess things up a lot. Please let us know if you have any further issues. We hope you enjoy the Mod!
BiblioCraft v1.3.4 is hot off the presses! Full support for 1.6.2. Lots of internal changes to support all the changes that took place in Minecraft and in Forge this go around. The 2 BiblioWoods addons have also been updated and added to the downloads section. Forestry is completely untested though since there is no Forestry for 1.6.2 yet. I used the old API from 1.5.2 and as long as nothing changes in the part that I used, it should work fine, otherwise I will update it soon after Forestry updates.
Post here if anyone finds any issues with the update.
Goto http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the installer. Double click the installer to run it and click the install button to install it into your client. Now you open your minecraft launcher and you will find a new profile called Forge. Run the game one time with that profile and it will create the mods folder and stuff in your default minecraft directory (%username%/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft), simply place the BiblioCraft[v.1.3.4].zip into your mods folder (and any BiblioWoods zips or other mods) and run the Forge profile on the launcher.
Alternatively you can create a new profile in the launcher, check the Game Directory box and create a profile anywhere on your computer. Inside of the folder you choose, Forge will create a mods folder where you can place mods that will only be loaded with that profile.
Thats all there is to it now. No more jar file editing at all!
To sum it up:
1) Download Forge installer
2) Click Install
3) Put mods in mod folder
This seems to have done the trick. Thank you!
