Not sure if this has been asked before, or if it's something I did, but I ran into a problem trying to use Tinker's Construct on the server I set up for me and my friends.
Single-player works fine, but on the server, when I try to make something in the crafting window (such as a blank pattern) I can't remove it. Trying to read the book causes it to disappear from my inventory, and trying to place any Tinker's Construct blocks I spawn in causes them to just disappear.
I'm using MC 1.6.4 with Forge and LiteLoader. No other server-side mods installed.
when using weapons from your mod as secondary weapons in dual wield mode of the battlegear2, the damage output is the damage of the primary weapon TIMES the damage of the tinkers construct weapon in the secondary slot. This is game breaking, is there anyway to disable dual-wield compatibility for TC weapons?
Also, how did you code the spawning for your slimes, there seems to be NO WAY to disable their spawning on an mcpc+ server, i've tried using a ton of bukkit plugins and forge mods that control spawning, and nothing, even peaceful difficulty, will disable their spawning on the flat map extra dimension i have
I've started on a new project. I've been playing a lot of skyblock recently and I've had a project sitting in the wings for awhile. Why not combine both of them and make something interesting?
Behold the redstone aggregator! It eats lots of sugar to make redstone crystals.

Interesting idea; reminds me of the old glowstone aggregator that was going to be a part of TiC before it was scrapped. I wonder what we'll see coming with your new ideas?
Also, have you ever considered allowing the use of the '§' symbol in TiC GUIs to allow colored tool names? That'd be cool.
EDIT: Wait, I'm fairly certain now I've asked you about the use of the section symbol before. Nevermind.
EDIT AGAIN: If I recall correctly, I suggested you put a button for the section symbol in the tool forge GUI, but didn't think of suggesting that you just enable copying and pasting of the section symbol into the GUI...So, what if you were to enable the use of the section symbol, and leave it at that?
Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
mDiyo stated that lava and water should combine in the smeltery to make liquid obsidian. Is this actually working? Also, is there a gravestone or death chest mod that works with the knapsack?
i have the problem that i cant make iron ingots with the molten iron that i have into the smeltery
at the same i cant smelt iron ingots only iron ores.¿is a bug?

Err, lava IS liquid obsidian, as far as Minecraft is concerned. I don't remember mDiyo ever saying that, though. Just make it and mine it normally ^^;;

He said in this thread, at some point after the latest dev version was released, that lava and water in a smeltery should make molten obsidian.
the recommended version of tinkers construct does not work for a server it says I'm missing a few id's and im not sure how to fix this is this anything you could inform me how to fix?
That wouldn't even make any sense, then again it's mDiyo
I dunno. I'm still a little skeptical that he said that. I'd think that'd make getting obsidian as well as the ability to make obsidian tools that can mine obsidian too easy. You'd have to get me a quote and page number.
Also, it's just plain nonsensical. As far as the game mechanics are concerned, lava IS liquid obsidian. Therefore water would not be necessary, because all that should do is solidify all the lava and jam your smeltery. I'd also like to point out that you can already melt stone into the smeltery and get out seared brick.

pingo95: The signal buses have to be connected in some way, whether it's through more wires or actually touching each other.
EverRunes: We have no control over the energetic infuser. Try Thermal Expansion's thread.
Dokidoki: Obsidian and lava are the same. Obsidian is the solid version, lava is the liquid version. The only reason you can't cast obsidian tools directly with lava in the Smeltery is because the lava would burn up the casts. Stone melts into Seared Stone anyhow.
AceTurn: We're looking at putting out a 1.5.3 that should have that fixed.
So I made a fortune-smelt pick and loaded it with enough lapis for fortune 3. When I went to test it out it seemed to only drop a single ingot per ore smelt. I wondered if the fortune part wasn't working so I tested it out on some lapis. Turns out it does work.
I'm wondering if:
1. This is a bug.
2. Another mod making tinkers disable this functionality.

I'm using the most recent dev version.
Have you checked the config? There's an option that disables that functionality, and it might be set to true.

I may or may not play GT. I also might be playing it with TiC. Some Metallurgy and ExtraTiC could be in the mix too. I might have also dropped in some TE as well. Some AE and BC could possibly be on the list. And I maybe- just maybe - there's NEI to assist in short-term memory loss that I may or may not have.
Apparently the obsidian mixing in the Smeltery was removed some time ago. It's been re-added to the dev version (1.5.3d5), and if all goes well this should be 1.5.3. There was also some improvement to bows. I'm not sure if the FPS is better for certain people or not, but please do give it a try.

That's good to hear. TC bows have always been rather underpowered, compared to, say a better archery longbow, or say a crystal bow (added by one of the hexxit mods).

Ununtrium: Forge doesn't have a proper 1.7.2 port, let alone 1.7.4.
Golde150: Yes, it damages other players. The radius is based on the entity you're hitting however.
FatsackTony: This sounds like a battlegear bug. Go report it on their thread and don't just turn things off because of such things.
MCPC+ is not supported.

Use his API?
It's understandable if that's not supposed to be a thing, since it would allow you to make alumite almost immediately.
