I just wanted to clarify something. When you disable Fortune/Smelting in the config, does it disable both abilities completely? Or just not allow them both on the same tool? And in the event that it disables both completely, would it be too much to ask for a config option to just prevent both from being on the same tool?
I maintain a 1.5.2 server and would love to be able to re-enable Fortune. TC seems to be the favorite mod of everyone on the server.

Tinkers' Construct DEV.b92b15b. I'm apparently having some localization issues with a server I'm running. It seems to affect other mods too, not just TiC.
In TiC's case, tool shards are not showing their name correctly, instead showing the bare localization identifier "toolpart.ToolShard". This appears wherever tool shards are named, including in the guidebooks.
Is this an issue on the mod side or on Forge's side?
I took copies of both ForgeModLoader-server-0.log and ForgeModLoader-client-0.log at the time this screenshot was taken, and will post on request. Technical info including mod list and versions:

When i Put Iron With the Picaxe HEAD or other pattern it just doesnt show me on other side the iron picaxe head or what and same with other ores bigger than wood or cobbleston (rarer)

It sounds like you're trying to use the part builder to make metal tools. Metal tools are made using the smeltery now.
Once your smeltery is running (read the in-game book; it tells you how to make it), put a stone pickaxe head on a casting table and pour molten aluminum brass onto it to get a metal cast. Then, pour molten iron into the cast to make a metal pickaxe head.
Umm mdiyo, there is a bug in your mod, when you have optifine, opening nei, going through the list, as soon as your templates for tools show up in nei list, the picture gets clamped and in console there are lots of messages of GL Error and game crashes

I can however, make ore blocks with a casting basin and make blank casts on a casting table. This only happens when I try to make a pattern cast (i.e. pickaxe head cast, tool rod cast, etc.) Anyone know what this means, and how to fix it if I can?

mDiyo doesn't code the ore dictionary. He just makes sure his metals are registered in it. Making metallurgy's ores compatible with the ore dictionary is on metallurgy's shoulders, I think. Pretty sure.

I was wondering if Tinker's Construct changes the permissions for which items can interact with leaf blocks?
I'm using version 1.6.4_1.4.7.1 in my world with a bunch of other mods but in particular with forestry-A-2.3.0.5 where I was trying to do some tree pollinating. The grafter would not interact with any of my pollinated leaf blocks afterwhich i tested a bunch of other items and noticed that there was almost no items which would interact with leaf blocks (i.e. they would take a test swing at it then just stop swinging even while the mouse button is held down)
The items which worked are:
* Tinker's axes/pickaxes
* Thaumcraft wand
* empty hand
* shear
Items which didn't work are:
* Vanilla axes/pickaxes
* Axe of the Stream
* any non-tool item (i.e. cobble blocks or torches or anything)
* Swords (both Vanilla and tinker's ones)
* grafter
I looked through the configs and there was nothing mentioning a way to turn off changed permissions for leaf blocks, it wouldn't have been a problem if it didn't block content from other mods but now it has become a problem.
No, I'm not.
Well, first I was, but then I only put Tconstruct in the mods folder and it still happened.

I can however, make ore blocks with a casting basin and make blank casts on a casting table. This only happens when I try to make a pattern cast (i.e. pickaxe head cast, tool rod cast, etc.) Anyone know what this means, and how to fix it if I can?
I'm curious to know what the stats are on jerky. From what I can tell, the hunger restoration is identical to the associated cooked food.
How about the saturation?
Has anybody tested this, or know of a method to test it?
Easily one of my fav mods. Keep up the good work mDiyo, looking forward to what you add next.

mDiyo doesn't code the ore dictionary. He just makes sure his metals are registered in it. Making metallurgy's ores compatible with the ore dictionary is on metallurgy's shoulders, I think. Pretty sure.
There is someone making an add on that uses metallurgy metal in the smeltery.

I'm using version 1.6.4_1.4.7.1 in my world with a bunch of other mods but in particular with forestry-A-2.3.0.5 where I was trying to do some tree pollinating. The grafter would not interact with any of my pollinated leaf blocks afterwhich i tested a bunch of other items and noticed that there was almost no items which would interact with leaf blocks (i.e. they would take a test swing at it then just stop swinging even while the mouse button is held down)
The items which worked are:
* Tinker's axes/pickaxes
* Thaumcraft wand
* empty hand
* shear
Items which didn't work are:
* Vanilla axes/pickaxes
* Axe of the Stream
* any non-tool item (i.e. cobble blocks or torches or anything)
* Swords (both Vanilla and tinker's ones)
* grafter
I looked through the configs and there was nothing mentioning a way to turn off changed permissions for leaf blocks, it wouldn't have been a problem if it didn't block content from other mods but now it has become a problem.
