Do you possibly plan to add Asgard Shields support for Broadswords? It adds a mechanic in which the shield comes up when you guard with your sword, but your Broadswords do not allow this to happen for some reason.
Otherwise, do you plan to handle the armor like MineFantasy, where different tiers have weight effects?
Hmm I just found a smeltery in a village and was wondering if this was intended or an id conflict of sorts with the other mods I'm running. It ended up being 2 smeltery basins, 2 casting tables and 51 seared bricks.
I have a feeling this is a new addition in the update - when I was watching Slowpoke on the new Forgecraft server, the first village he found had a smeltery too.... I could be wrong though!
You don't actually need the Sphax texture pack, you can add it to any texture pack since it's just the Tinker add on. You can even just put my .zip directly into the .minecraft/texturepacks folder and run it by itself.
Yes that is Tinker Constructs Brownstone, I'm pretty sure it's in game currently. I have used it by getting it from the NEI/creative windows myself but not sure how it's actually made. I went ahead and textured pretty much everything in the Tinker folders, some stuff isn't in game yet but if any of it gets added it will be good to go.
NEI plugins is your friend. The 1.5.1 version (Ironically, it's version number 1.5.2) works on MC version 1.5.2.

It's intended. But the smelteries are fake, missing a control block.
The 1.4.7 version was removed because of a lot of people asking why it didn't have most of the features the newest version has right now and wanting some bugs of that version getting fixed. Right now most popular mods have already been updated to 1.5.X (exceptions being RP2, Xeno's Reliquary, Xycraft, etc) or have somewhat stable beta versions.

Love your mod, but the blue slimes keep trampling my crops. Drives me crazy. Possible to make them not do that? I figure it's just part of their jumping, so I just need a higher fence to keep them out of my farm area.

mDiyo, can you add a modifier that makes crits deal more damage?. Like something that makes crits go up to a maximum of 200-300% dmg.
Meaning a sword with 4 hearts of dmg, with crit has a change of making 8-12 hearts. WITH CRIT, if you think this is op just ignore the idea

I think that's a very good idea, but yes, it seems somewhat op, maybe if it wasn't compatible with quartz or had some kind of damage limit.
instead of rotating through block patterns in a crafting grid with the chisel, we use a new station, to craft patterns into blocks.
the chisel stand.
it has 3 inventory slots and a similar interface to the stencil table. the first 2 slots are for the material (sandstone or regular stone for example). the third slot is where the chisel is placed.
with one block, up to one stack of blocks in one material slot, you can rotate through possible patterns with arrow buttons, like you can on the stencil table. (you choose which pattern you want to craft into your sandstone blocks. smooth, the chiseled versions or sandstone bricks). a block of the raw material used is rendered on the stand. then you click "craft", and after a short chisel animation, the new block is rendered on the chisel stand, ready to be picked up.
if you fill both material slots, you can craft statues. 2 stacked raw blocks are rendered on the stand. for example, you can make a 1:1 size statue out of yourself, with the way you look at the time, youre crafting the statue. if youre holding a shovel, the statue is going to hold a shovel. if youre holding a sword and wear leather armor at the time of crafting, the statue is going to look the same. always the texture of the material its made of. (player statues from sandstone, creeper statues from stone, skelletton statues from birch wood). similar to the first type of crafting, you choose the model you want to craft your material into and then after a short chisel animation, the statue is ready to be picked up, and placed in the world.

for all the awesome bricks, that have been added (sandstone, obsidian, endstone etc.) im missing stairs and slabs.
i understand, that the part with the statues is probably a lot to ask (though it would be kind of really really cool. imagine the entrance of your house decorated with statues of yourself). but the slabs and stairs really shouldnt be too hard to integrate. its just a matter of putting existing textures on existing block types, no?
if i wouldnt be absolutely clueless about modding, i would already do that myself as an addon to your mod^^
there are a lot of mods out there, that focus on additional items, weapons, armors, tools etc. but i rarely ever see a mod, that just focuses on giving us a ridiculous amount of cool looking blocks to build with. like the slime bricks? dude, theyre awesome. your mod has a lot of potential, to expand in this direction.
Q: I'm using 1.5, why are blocks/items invisible? A: There's a few things that can cause this:
OptiFine is not compatible with the latest version of Forge. Forge runs the game faster than OptiFine does, either update Forge or use the compatible version.

I am not using optifine. I was, and removed it at the above-quotes suggestion, and am still having some invisible texture/item issues.
The issue completely resolves itself when I remove Tinkers Construct, but I really badly want to give this mod a try. And its not just items and textures from this mod; when I install it, it invisible-izes some vanilla items (apples, bread, sticks, just to name a few) and at least one from its companion mod Natura (barley seeds).
I am using MultiMC to set all my mods up. The Console currently spams

No idea what this means. The error goes away when I uninstall tinkers construct.
Any ideas, suggestions, fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello mDiyo, thanks for your mod. But i have a problem, i create all parts for pickaxe and when i put it on tool station, minecraft crashed.

I noticed that only Manyullyn can mine up to level 5:Manyullyn but I've never come across it. Is level 5 only so that you can mine up any Manyullyn you may have placed?

The mod is still a beta/pre-release mDiyo is adding SO much more content that you are going to need Manyullyn for some stuff, that and the fact it deals the best dmg and mines the fastest! (as of right now)

All you have to do is make a control block - a lot less resources than building a whole smelter!
Also, I wonder if any of mDiyo's tools or parts can be found in the blacksmith chests?
I don't believe so, but there is a Tinkerer Villager, who has his own little house with tinkering tables and other stuff...
