Currently the farming skill increases the metadata of a block in order to speed up growth. (Code section from PlayerEventHandler)

This causes... err... 'interesting' interactions with some mod farmables. Such as barley turning into cotton plants.
Would it be possible to make the code 'apply bonemeal' instead? That would make it play nice with a lot more mods.
Addtionally, if possible and you feel like it, I'd like to request the following changes to farming skill:
Instead of having it check "Open to sky" for growing, make it check that the block beneath is tilled watered farmland. This would also allow underground farming growth boost.
Make it pick X blocks at random in range (perhaps a slightly larger range?), to which to apply the bonemeal effect. X is determined by the farming skill level.

Also, is anyone else having trouble downloading the walled cities mod? I can't get it to download, but Level Up! downloaded just fine.
hi im here to tell you about a bug with w3(r4ft. so i was using it today and i made a drill and set it up and activated it, when the arm came down and it started drilling the blocks disappear but they didnt come out the top and when i look at the bottom i realized that the blocks were still there just invisible and if i right clicked they would re apear my mod list is:

There is really something wrong with the Nature Overhaul code as I have an endless growth of roses popping up.
Basically if I chop them down they almost instantly grow back...and they are spreading. Removing the mod stops the issue.
You can tweak the settings for growth and death rates, under the "Plants Options" for roses.
You can also disable "biome specific rate" under the "Misc Options".

I don't think you understand...this was all of a sudden...not some config setting. It was all working just fine and then it freaked out. I've never seen this happen on 1.6.2...only 1.6.4
With MC 1.6.4 I have Bibliocraft, BetterStorage and the Lord of the Rings mod. Now I want to create THE ring, using 8 gold nuggets and leaving the middle of the crafting table empty.
But all I get is a keyring, not the LOTR-ring. So I installed the NoMoreRecipeConflict to get out of the recipe conflict.
By hitting left - right no other result is shown after putting the nuggets in the crafting table.
Did I overlook something?
MCPatcher is installed - does this kill something?
The NMRC-Mod is loaded as Forge say in its mod list.

You can use the default setting, which now includes range from 0 to 10 except 1: (change 10 to xyz)
