I have been playing around with the formivore mod you updated and I have been unable to generate a city out of -500,-500 500,500 and I have been testing with 3 different worlds. I placed a weight on my W key to move forward in creative mod in the sky, for 1 or 2 hours each time and could not get anything generated out of the coordonates I indicated before. I changed all the generation probabilities to 0.5 to test but that did not change the behavior. Still structures generated at the center but not in the rest of the map.
Has anyone else encountered the same issue?
I'm using GeneratorMods1stRelease.zip, I could not figure out the version but the md5 is b044ba3f48115d33a6f4e214e1d7a83f

This bug has been fixed.
You are 4 release late, download latest and it should be fine.
If it is a swampland, this is intended by the original author, and I kinda agree with him. It wouldn't spawn anywhere if it couldn't touch water...lakes, rivers, oceans, swamps...too much water in this game
But, you can erase swampland from the allowed biomes.
Come on, this is a ruined city, why wouldn't water come inside and flood it ? Isn't it realistic
If it's not a swamp, could you post city log, world seed and a screenshot by day time?
This will help me investigate the issue.

I could make PChan3 mods compatible with server, but the ship doesn't fly...guess I have to work on key-handling and entities.

Notes: Nothing seems to be working in the quidcraft mod...it's like the author erase whole parts of the source to prevent anyone from understanding it...or was it a WIP mod ?
Anyway, I port it to Forge and the parts I made entirely myself are working. Blocks and items rendering to be precise. The problem is they spawn invisible entities. Nevermind, just me being stupid when porting to Forge.
I hoped the flying broom might teach me something for the steamship in PChan3's, but this part of the code doesn't seem good.

Hurray! In creative mode I can spawn the steamship without any issues and it flies beautifully in SMP. However, when I try to craft and assemble all the pieces together ( 2 x engines, steamboat, dispenser, balloon and 4 x strings ) it will not craft the steamship. I am not sure why its doing that.
Fixing bug in quidcraft at the moment, but I am on the reading-code-and-thinking-what-to-change step for Mine and Blade: Battlegear.
If I was optimistic, I would say it might be released next month.

Circumstances: I was starting a new world, went to type in the name. Either as a result of holding shift or pressing N when typing in the name of my world (the name I wanted began with a capital N) I crashed.

Oooooh boy this one's a doozy. Okay so, I can't change the keys because in pressing the key to change them, the game crashes because I pressed the key. I think until these get fixxed, I'll pass on the airships mod.
On a side note: Airships + cities was the second mod combination that I distinctly remember using. The first was steam... something + better than wolves, back when that was still a popular mod. I just remember flying around in my airship, landing on top of the cities that had gold and lapis for roofs and stealing all their ridiculously opulent shingles. And now they're both updated by the same guy! Happy days.

Right, everyone will be disappointed if I release it without dual-wield anyway.
I will try not to release it a coremod if I don't need to. This type of mod can be game-breaking if not coded properly.
I am still hesitating on Nature Overhaul for example, searching for alternative in forge event system.
Side note: Fixed reported issue with keys in Steamship. Version 0.2 already include the fix.
Using the airship mod on my server I noticed something odd. If I travel far and create some new chunks it'll seem smooth enough, but suddenly my airship will disappear and I'll fall to the ground. I can still move, but going to 3rd person I can see I'm still in the sitting position. After 10 seconds or so I'll suddenly be back in my airship, which apparently continued to travel without me.
Once when this happened I traveled back to where the ship disappeared and found an honest-to-goodness world hole. Like a line of chunks weren't generated. Even restarting the server, the hole is still there. Hadn't seen one of those in a loooong time.

Server issues are tricky...could you submit forge logs ?
Then answer those questions please:
Was there something in the ship inventory ?
Did you keep pressing directions keys/ firing key ,or pressing from time to time ?
Did you have any lag (frame per second drop) ?

I understand you don't have much time, I myself do this as a hobby, and as you see, I have other projects too.

What are the chances, approximately, that mine+blade: battlegear will totally not work and explode with some of the mods today; like model changing mods like noppe's custom models and mlp, or that RPG inventory mod? (then again: how does a pony duel-wield) To be perfectly fair I have many complaints with rpg inventory, but it seems like it has a few similarities, maybe they could help; there's quite a few people who could be roped together for m+b:b.
Perhaps you could include some manner of API or config for which hands modded items that don't properly fit into standard tool classes go in, like bonecraft's tools; or mods made by people who for some reason don't extend tool:sword in their swords.
I never really had a chance to use the mod when it came out so I guess I don't really know how well it does everything. It was all big and popular about the same time as I was recovering from my computer being stolen; so my only experience with it is watching the videos for Bashur's modpack back when he was cool.
Sorry if I'm rambling; I'd just like to see this project not only succeed but also end up as something that is fully enjoyable to use; compatible with all sorts of things, ya know?

I don't have the log anymore, but I'll try to recreate the problem when I get home later.
I don't remember if there was anything in the inventory at the time, besides coal. I was trying a few things in the arrow slot, as I recall, because I noticed I could shoot even if there weren't any arrows loaded. I also put bombs from LegendGear in there, hoping it would replicate a right-click and that I could carpet bomb mobs, but no go - Just shoots arrows.
Besides pressing forwards (w), I don't think I was pressing any other keys.
And no lag from the client, though I got that server lag when I dropped out of the airship. The kind where blocks don't update and mobs don't move / can't be attacked. The kind I usually get when a big city is generating - Which, come to think of it, may have been the case at that particular moment since I had both mods loaded.

Oooooh boy this one's a doozy. Okay so, I can't change the keys because in pressing the key to change them, the game crashes because I pressed the key. I think until these get fixxed, I'll pass on the airships mod.
On a side note: Airships + cities was the second mod combination that I distinctly remember using. The first was steam... something + better than wolves, back when that was still a popular mod. I just remember flying around in my airship, landing on top of the cities that had gold and lapis for roofs and stealing all their ridiculously opulent shingles. And now they're both updated by the same guy! Happy days.

Right, everyone will be disappointed if I release it without dual-wield anyway.
I will try not to release it a coremod if I don't need to. This type of mod can be game-breaking if not coded properly.
I am still hesitating on Nature Overhaul for example, searching for alternative in forge event system.
Side note: Fixed reported issue with keys in Steamship. Version 0.2 already include the fix.

Once when this happened I traveled back to where the ship disappeared and found an honest-to-goodness world hole. Like a line of chunks weren't generated. Even restarting the server, the hole is still there. Hadn't seen one of those in a loooong time.
To be honest I actually started working on it again, I have a working prototype (doesn't render in 3rd person yet) that edits base classess (which will be fixed by a coremod). Would you like to team up? I won't have the time to fully devote to the project.
Server issues are tricky...could you submit forge logs ?
Then answer those questions please:
Was there something in the ship inventory ?
Did you keep pressing directions keys/ firing key ,or pressing from time to time ?
Did you have any lag (frame per second drop) ?

I understand you don't have much time, I myself do this as a hobby, and as you see, I have other projects too.
What are the chances, approximately, that mine+blade: battlegear will totally not work and explode with some of the mods today; like model changing mods like noppe's custom models and mlp, or that RPG inventory mod? (then again: how does a pony duel-wield) To be perfectly fair I have many complaints with rpg inventory, but it seems like it has a few similarities, maybe they could help; there's quite a few people who could be roped together for m+b:b.
Perhaps you could include some manner of API or config for which hands modded items that don't properly fit into standard tool classes go in, like bonecraft's tools; or mods made by people who for some reason don't extend tool:sword in their swords.
I never really had a chance to use the mod when it came out so I guess I don't really know how well it does everything. It was all big and popular about the same time as I was recovering from my computer being stolen; so my only experience with it is watching the videos for Bashur's modpack back when he was cool.
Sorry if I'm rambling; I'd just like to see this project not only succeed but also end up as something that is fully enjoyable to use; compatible with all sorts of things, ya know?
I don't have the log anymore, but I'll try to recreate the problem when I get home later.
I don't remember if there was anything in the inventory at the time, besides coal. I was trying a few things in the arrow slot, as I recall, because I noticed I could shoot even if there weren't any arrows loaded. I also put bombs from LegendGear in there, hoping it would replicate a right-click and that I could carpet bomb mobs, but no go - Just shoots arrows.
Besides pressing forwards (w), I don't think I was pressing any other keys.
And no lag from the client, though I got that server lag when I dropped out of the airship. The kind where blocks don't update and mobs don't move / can't be attacked. The kind I usually get when a big city is generating - Which, come to think of it, may have been the case at that particular moment since I had both mods loaded.
