I'm using the FTB Launcher and play on a map with the direwolf mod Pack.
Is it possible, to add this mod to the running map, so these amazing cities spawn in areas, I didn't discover yet?
I won't test every custom launcher of the minecraft modding universe. (well MagicLauncher worked last time I checked)
It should work if it is Forge compatible.

My generator mods did not generate a config file... seems a bit odd.
Didn't generate any cities either, so obviously it wasn't working.. I'll remove all other mods see if that changes it..
EDIT: Tested with no other mods, still does not work. It does show up as being active (shows all 3 parts) but doesn't generate anything or create a config... going to try an older version to see if it generates a config..

I can confirm that the generator mods are working with the highlands biomes so thats great. Now to disable the obsidian underground cities.
*edit* nah, nevermind. Im done with configuring mods. it shouldnt be up to the end user. The only mods that require this kind of busywork are the ones that generate structures and those that spawn new mobs. Maybe Ill just play it as is, with obsidian cities and OP monster spawners and all.

UPDATE 9/1/13 It's over! I am almost sure I will stop this mod as it was not really very success full/good and It got very little feed back. I May still update it for a little but, it not fun making new stuff for a mod no one really cares about and its much more enjoyable to make more creative mods than generic ones like this.
I have quit modding till 1.3 to peruse other interests. I am still around and will respond to some pms/comments. Don't bug for me to update, I won't. If you want to update, download eclipse, mcps 43-60, Java sdk, and ask questions on the modding forum.

After the rewrite of the mod, where everything worked fine, 1.3.2 came out and messed up the minecraft code completely. I managed to get most of the stuff working, however there were still many huge bugs that made a let's play impossible. In a few days 1.4 is coming out and this mod will NOT be updated.. sorry.. (if I want to update this mod without bugs, i have to rewrite it completely but this would take to long)
Since too much core code of the game and forge has changed since the SSP SMP merge, I haven't found any other way of continuing this mod but to completely rewrite everything. For now anyone will be able to continue developing this mod as needed without any further permission from me. Perhaps i'll make another mod, or a resurrection of this one.... Cheers

No, I didn't. However, the mod works fine in the MC client using the old config files - It's just the server thats throwing this error. Still, I'll try your recommendations when I get home from work and report back with the full error msg.
Incidentally, any chance you'll eventually be able to fix the torch bug in this mod? The one where the orientation of generated torches is off, so they sometimes appear floating.

Issue confirmed. Please use release 4 instead. Release 5 is cancelled temporarily while I fix this.
The good part is that now I can run server tests, meaning this issue won't happen again.
For example, no server issue with BetterTallGrass mod
Torch failing to attach to block on generation is a vanilla bug. (look at vanilla villages)
Luckily, it doesn't happen often.

The original creator stopped updating it at 1.1.0
